ACT onboards a former Blush Girl

"I am pleased to announce that I am now affiliated with ACT My name is easy to understand! I said "retire" once? I said I was going to retire, so I was asked to transfer or whatever you want to call it, and I'm going back to the AV industry. I'll do my best even more than before, so please support me."  Honoka Kinami, a former Kanda idol who made her debut with the Blush Girl label on February 2019, returns to AV as Yuka Mitsuha.

In her three years of adult career, Honoka Kinami has on record severed her ties with the industry multiple times in the past, often transitioning agencies in the process. What started as a side gig for the former Kanda idol soon transitioned into somewhat of a full-fledged role she took up as an adult performer in the years that followed

Her debut gig with Blush girls was short-lived, though it had some remarkable works that have since been the highlight of her career. However, in the recent years Hinami had since refracted from her day job as an adult performer and could be seen more indulged in transitioning offices. In her latest outing on Twitter, the actress revealed that her current office ACT, convinced her to make a comeback after what has been around a year on hiatus for the 27 year old.

In her reply to a tweet, the actress alluded to having a bad rep for her unstable trajectory, flipping offices frequently, "I'm not sure you can say re-debut unless you've taken a re-debut film. I have a very negative image of 're-debuting' lol. I know I've heard a lot of things from a lot of places since I've not been in the industry very long" and that she has been up to date with the rumors pertaining to her inability to stay put. It's only fair for her to get the gist of the ongoing rumors pertaining to her in the fan circles.

God knows what motivated the actress to select a different agency, but whatever it was must have been with dreams of receiving more screentime in the future. However, to to her dismay, even her second term bombed in the industry, as she previously admitted in a message to her fans. "Nice to meet you. Became a member of ARROWS Yuka Mitsuha. I'm Yuuka! I've become a shortcut and lost 5 kilograms and was reborn I'll do my best again, so thank you!"

Regarding her name change, the actress added that she would now go by Mitsuha instead of her previous alias, Yuka Mitsuha. Any additional commentary on her professional endeavours or releases remains still under wraps.

Former Jewels Talent Re-Debuts As Himemiya Sumire

Earlier this month, AV agency JETSTREAM made it public that they had managed to secure a deal on paper with 20 year old AV talent, formerly known as Hinano Misaki. Addressing the fans of the latest development on the deal, the agency tweeted. "We will start our activities with Sumire Himemiya. Thank you for your warm support!"

On record this might've well been among the final transfer that the AV industry saw this year, with just a couple days left in the calendar and also what makes it so exclusive and fascinating at the same time.

The actress in the picture has amassed quite a sizable fan base in the short while. Though she doesn't have much work to boast about in her portfolio, whatever little work she has done has been of worthy recognition. In hopes of a better future to capitalize on her fame, is what might have catapulted Hinano into taking this leap of faith to advance her adult career. That is likely to boost her AV appearance since the office she chose to affiliate with has sizable portfolio of talents working for some top tier studios like SOD.

In the tweet that garnered upwards of over a million views, the actress addressed her fans on the latest development in her career, citing that moving on from her former agency Jewels with whom she has been linked to for several years was a tough call to take, "To all of you who follow us on Twitter! Thank you for your continued support! I, Hinano Cape, have decided to move to JETSTREAM from Jewels, where I have been working for about 2 years! I would like to thank all of the directors, makers, actors and actresses who have worked with me, and makeup artists who have made me look so pretty. And most of all, I love all my fans who support me! I hope to see more and more films next year! I will do the best I can this year! I hope you will continue to watch over me kindly!" Prior to the transfer, the actress released a letter thanking her former coworkers and pleading her fanbase to support her future endeavours.

Even though the minimal information we had from the tweet doesn't reveal much about the actress's ambitions to pursue AV with the alias or whether her agency and the actress jointly settled upon the stage name, Hinano later stated that she had chosen to go with a new identity. "I have decided to change my name from Hinano Misaki to Sumire Himemiya! I know everyone has a strong impression of Hinano Misaki, but I would like to ask for your support under the new name as well!"

It remains to be seen if Hinano, who recently joined a new agency, will be able to propel her career to new heights as she claimed in an earlier tweet, or if it will suffer a similar fate and stall like it has been for a while now.

S1 Exclusive Leaves Her Former Office

As the year draws to a close, S1 may suffer from this episode, though not directly, the studio may be "getting rid of old trash" in preparation for scheduling its releases for the following year. One of the girls in their renowned line-up of AV models earlier this month made her stand clear that she intends to leave her agency. Mirei Shinomone, who took the AV enthusiasts at Scanlover by storm with her debut earlier this year in March made it public as she yearned for a change.

"I changed my name because I moved to a new office. I changed my name from Mirei Shinonome to Mirei Uno"

Though Mirei apologised to her admirers for being missing in action for a while, for over a quarter now, I find this statement to be extremely contradictory given that the 20-year-old hinted in one of her last tweets sent on Twitter using her prior alias that she might have been participating in an AV shoot at the beginning of the month i.e December. "I'm sorry for the worry I've caused to my fans by suddenly not being on Twitter anymore. I'm starting over from scratch, but I'm going to do my best in my own way and at my own pace. Thank you for your continued support."

As per one of the users on the adult board, the 20 year old had figured out an alternate career for herself, if one had to believe him word to word. The AV performer aspired to be one of the two—a gravure or a pop idol—but since the epidemic, it has become quite impossible to consider pursuing a career in any of the two, leaving AV as the only safe bet on the table for the 21 year old.

Mirei now transfers to Arrow as a part of her contract. That could either mean she performs under her existing banner i.e S1 or a possibility arises that the 20 year old might just cut ties with her exclusive contract and turn freelance, which seems like an apt possibility considering she is headed to close down on her first year in the industry. Although her bio still reads, exclusive to S1 "I forgot to mention that the office transfer is to Arrows If you want to send me fan letters or gifts, please use the address in my profile."

How the 20-year-old managed to gain such a large following so quickly is absolutely admirable. Now what remains to be seen is if Mirei continues to be affiliated with her studio. Latest indications show that the actress has shared a couple of tweets from her employer on her feed, one that includes some miniscule details of a release scheduled for January so I guess that kind of answers our question. For the time being, Mirei decided to play it safe and remain with her existing employer and this almost seems like a no-brainer considering what debutante would choose to leave a top tier adult studio for the sake of turning freelance, in the midst of the ongoing turmoil. I assume, for Mirei, It would be more like digging a grave and quitting halfway through her flourishing career. Let me know what you guys think of it, in the comments below.

Moodyz Exclusive Agrees A Deal With ACT

Talent crisis is prevalent in the adult industry and some of the 'creme de la creme' studios aren't barred of it. With the mention of Mirei Uno in the previous column, we mentioned how her agency literally took the hit with the 21 year old leaving.  iI I assume most AV fans wouldn't even bother to realise that a similar AV idol transferred office, given her understated recoginition. Kurumi Futaba, not to be confused with Kurumiya Futaba who mostly releases her AV's under the Moodyz banner had a transfer that could have easily gone unnoticed, considering it was pretty much swept under the rug.

The Moodyz exclusive had earlier hinted at taking a break from the this month which might have ultimately led her to stumble on a decision like this. Within just six months from her debut, the 20 year old clocked in close to 35 JAV titles under different makers, that brings the tally to around five releases every single month from the day of her debut. Those are quite staggering numbers to comprehend if one considered that Kurumi decided to debut while the industry was battling a war of its own.

In a tweet posted earlier this month, the AV star broke news on her latest transfer. "I will be moving to Mines this month."

Kurumi further clarified her stance on the new alias, often finding herself as the subject of confusion in the past with a similar industry acquaintance Kurumiya Futaba, who pursues AV under Kawaii's banner. "Along with the transfer, I will change my name to [Nanoha Kiyohara]. I hope you will continue to support me!", I believe that name itself would take a considerable time to gel in with her followers.

Her new agency was quick to react to the tweet citing, "New Mines girl is here! I'm Nanoha Kiyohara and I'm in the ministry! Please take good care of her. Watch out for her"

The 20 year old had earlier hinted on taking a break from her mundane schedule stating, "I'm taking a break from adult video so I got my favorite nails done. I'm so excited! But today's dream was a dream that all the parts were removed." in a tweet posted on December 3rd.

Given her nature of work, mostly lesbian themed JAVs or those starring multiple actresses as lead stars, it's a tough call for the directors at the studio to cast her in generic themed JAVs. Not saying that Kurumi hasn't been a part of solo themed JAVs, just that it's hardly the case. But, assuming that her brand new work teased by Moodyz for the month of January embodies the actress in a solo role, I believe the 20 year old ight be off to a good start, after all.

I'm growing less and less optimistic about a u-turn on R18 shutdown - just over 3 weeks now. Super scummy by DMM, but I backed up pretty much everything that I care about.
