JAV Battle: Pubic Hair or Clean Shaven? Part 1

Just like clothes or the hair on a person's head, pubic hair can be just as much an extension of a woman's personality. Pubic hair comes in all different shapes and sizes, and as a man, getting to witness it is a lot like getting to see her breasts or vagina: are her breasts big or small? Does she have inverted nipples? What color are the nipples? For pubic hair it's no different, there are all types of pubic hair that a man can appreciate, and each give off a different kind of feeling.

Maybe her pubic hair is really unkempt and messy, or maybe its massively overgrown and there's tons of it? That sort of hair might be given to an amazoness or a woman with a "wild" personality. Or, maybe her pubic hair is thoroughly trimmed and very neat - such pubic hair could be given to a super intelligent megane girl who is orderly. Hell, I've seen pubic hair cut into shapes, a heart being the most common in hentai, and I've seen it a few times in JAV as well. Stuff like that is not only super unique and memorable, it's unexpected - and unexpected things can be surprisingly hot in the moment.

As I said before, everyone has pubic hair, it's a natural part of the human body, and many people find the natural body to be erotic. There are all sorts of fake things in this world, especially when it comes to amplifying beauty: plastic surgery, fake boobs, face lifts, tummy tucks or whatever. While they can be beneficial on occasion, many people find such false attempts at beauty distasteful, and is often rather easy to point out. Any guy could easily point out a fake pair of tits for example. Pubic hair is natural, it's not put into or on the body intentionally by some desperate woman to try and make herself more desirable.

Pubic hair is also realistic - realism always adds an element of familiarity and relatability, which can help to make a scene more intimate for the watcher. In a way, it's like the actress is embracing her natural appearance rather than conforming to a specific beauty standard, which can make a JAV feel less staged and more genuine.

Pubic hair is often also associated with maturity - and when someone thinks of a mature woman, they typically think of a woman who has come to understand concepts of "responsibility" and other such burdens of adulthood, but also more joyous ones, such as romance, as well as understanding her own sexual charms. Such a woman has depth on a number of levels, and let's be honest, it's not always fun to be around a woman who is immature - sometimes you just want a woman who knows everything a man wants. Much like how I've mentioned that pubic hair can be an extension of a woman's personality and charm, it can also give off an aura of maturity.

Women who maintain a more natural appearance might give a more mature image, which can create a different sort of appeal compared to more immature aesthetics that tend to dominate JAV. Maturity suggests deeply romantic, passionate, serious, and sexy - and can make a woman give off an aura that she's experienced, self-assured, confident, and sophisticated. It's very much a distinct trait, and while it's not for everyone, I personally do think it can be enticing.

Many associate pubic hair with lack of cleanliness, and while that's not necessarily true, the sad fact is that hairless body presentation is frequently portrayed as cleaner, refined, and fashionable. As a result, some automatically interpret pubic hair as being less polished, even if the performer clearly takes excellent care of her appearance. I think maybe it's because people have found hair can get pretty nasty when it's covered up and sweaty, much like genitalia, yet most people have no problem with the idea of giving oral to a woman - it's a mystery, but it is what it is. Maybe there's an up-close shot of the guy eating the woman out - a woman's bushy pubes can block a lot of the action (and that's in addition to the annoying mosaic). Visuals are incredibly important for JAV since it's the main way of enjoying the experience, and it can also be argued that zooming up really close on a bunch of hairs isn't exactly the most palatable either, so up-close shots can be a bit less tasteful as well.

For many years, pubic hair had to be restricted due to Japanese obscenity laws, causing studios to have to conceal it or work around the censorship requirements. Though, when the restrictions became more lax, shaving became more common amongst actors/actresses. As a result, clean-shaven actresses were in higher number - that being said, many have come to regard shaven pussies as the industry default. So some viewers might find pubic hair to be unusual or unconventional since it differs from what they usually see, which can also be a strength, in a way.
