ROCKET is known as the 'weird JAV studio extraordinaire' but as we know, sometimes weird can get too weird. But are there times when ROCKET can film something that sounds great on paper, looks great on film, but still makes you wonder: "why did ROCKET shoot this?" Don't worry folks because while until now the answer to that may have been a negative, with today's update, the tables are turned because MAGIC MIRROR PARTNER SWAPPING SPECIAL is indeed a JAV movie that not only is great, but also may be the most un-ROCKET-like movie we've ever shown by them. Why? See next paragraph for starters.

Take four couples and throw them in the famous SOD Magic Mirror truck, yada yada yada past introductions which honestly aren't super intriguing nor last past around ten minutes and begin with swapping. Dares that begin with kissing advance and everyone watches before everyone has a go and yes, being a JAV with a nice big cast, the conclusion--and bulk of the movie, really--is a big partner swapping orgy.

It's actually incredible how they managed to film such a huge group in such a small studio. The Magic Mirror is TINY and even though as we've seen in other movies how in reality, it's not like the crew is glued to the wall in order to squeeze it all in, but an extra 'cube' is attached to the rear to make reality happen. Still, this movie may actually exceed SADISTIC VILLAGE and their use of the studio by at least two people. But it's not all fun and games: defying all forms of logic and common sense, it appears like this movie was shot with a fish angle lens turning an already small and claustrophobic environment into an even smaller and more claustrophobic environment. To be honest, if I was placed in the director's shoes, I may have swapped out the camera, but how much more to change? In some ways, this is not a very ROCKET'ish release, but I'm a big fan of when studios attempt to think outside of their comfort zones and this 'tame' movie is definitely ROCKET doing things different!

The casting of women is varied enough for there to be something for everyone. I won't call out performances; watch for who you like and like a potentially 'jealous' partner, feel free to take glances to the left and the right. Yes, the boyfriends all are super familiar actors as nobody is fooling anyone with a plot as unbelievable as this. But that's what fantasies are for and that aspect of it is especially well-done. The camera may be weird, the plot very much lacking compared to this studio's normal output, but this one is still fun in a unique orgy-packing way.
