Some may raise their eyebrows after hearing this, but out of the seven FIRST TIME LESBIANS SECRET HOT SPRINGS VACATION RETURNS movies we have shown and in spite of the pair in today's update obviously not being the most attractive of the bunch, their time with us may be my favorite...so far.  There's a lot going for this movie and it's also a perfect example of why these types of releases require either full Japanese comprehension ability or accurate subtitles to truly appreciate.  Otherwise, it's just two average Japanese women filming their vacation including some intimate moments.

The plot this time has changed.  GOGOS takes a leaf from the proto-series where rather than a 'coming out' scenario where one's a lesbian with a secret crush on her friend, we've two women who until now did not know each other going on something of a blind date-vacation.  Going into this, both are open in that they prefer women, but that doesn't mean their weekend together will absolutely end with their heads buried between each others legs.  There's a necessary buildup first that RETURNS 7 near flawlessly features.

Neither AKI nor MYU (last names not given) are lookers.  Even in a series all about realism, GOGOS has done their best to find fresh faces that still are attractive.  And on that note, no, neither are ugly, but are closer to the types of women you probably will encounter walking around Tokyo on any given day.  Some may prefer the fantasy of especially attractive women engaging in lesbian sex, but I've a feeling those who prefer keeping things as real as possible will win out.  We have something special on our hands here and skipping through to the 'good bits' would be a tragedy.  A slow burn, yes, but those relatively platonic 30 minutes or so that kick off this 120 minute release definitely are worth sitting through at least once.  Patience, after all, is a virtue.  From strangers to friends to same-sex lovers all over a single weekend.  A well-done self-shot fantasy turned real.
