We may have a pretty interesting gossip brewing here.

The JAV actress, whom her fans have dubbed the “most beautiful woman in the world” and the “queen of pure desire,” will be visiting Taiwan next month, and considering how popular she has become, there will probably be plenty of fans waiting to see her.

With millions of followers across social media and even rumors that JAV icon Yua Mikami personally chose her as a successor, Saika has certainly attracted a lot of attention.

But now, a rather different side of her is being discussed.

According to a tip reportedly received by Taiwanese media outlet Mirror Media, Saika’s sweet and innocent image is a far cry from her personality.

The tipster claims that despite her beautiful looks, sexy figure, and strong acting skills, Kawakita is apparently much meaner and gossip-loving in private, and honestly, that’s quite a contrast.

Saika had previously publicly thanked Yua Mikami and said that she would follow in her senior’s footsteps. But according to a Taiwanese industry insider who has worked closely with her, things may be a little different behind the scenes.

At the TRE Taipei International Adult Exhibition this year, Kawakita spoke emotionally about the pressure of being compared to being Yua’s successor. She even reportedly broke down in tears and said: “I never thought I would be so emotional.”

It certainly looked like a heartfelt moment back then, but according to the insider, Saika allegedly believes privately that Mikami is already past her prime and that surpassing her wouldn’t be particularly difficult.

That’s quite a different attitude from the one we’ve seen publicly. Of course, Yua Mikami isn’t exactly sitting around doing nothing either.

Since retiring from adult entertainment, she has remained active in the mainstream entertainment industry. She has even visited Taiwan, including making headlines when she threw out the first pitch for the Wei Chuan Dragons and later appeared as a cheerleader at a basketball game. So perhaps the “successor” comparison isn’t going away anytime soon.

But you’d be shocked to hear that apparently, Yua Mikami isn’t the only person Saika is worried about.

A fresh face has taken away her night’s nap. Kanna Seto, who debuted just last year, is reportedly another thorn in her side.

The question of “Who will be the next Yua Mikami?” has been discussed by JAV fans for years, and these days, Saika and Seto are frequently mentioned together. Both have their own extremely loyal fanbases, and whenever the two are compared, things can get pretty heated.

According to another staff member, however, Kawakita allegedly isn’t particularly fond of the newcomer either. The insider claims that she has spoken negatively about Kanna in the past and is apparently worried that Seto could overshadow her if the two ever shared the same stage.

And apparently, we may have already seen a glimpse of that. After seeing Kanna Seto’s overwhelming presence at the Taipei International Adult Expo, Kawakita was reportedly quite unhappy. Then, almost immediately after the event, she updated her social media and made sure to maintain her own image online. By captioning, "Thank you for reaching out to me"

One staff member summed up her behavior pretty bluntly: “Those who know her understand; she just can’t stand being alone.”

Now, how much of this is actually true is another question. These are claims from industry insiders and tipsters, not something Saika herself has publicly confirmed or will ever confirm.

But if nothing else, it certainly adds another layer to the “perfect successor” image surrounding Saika Kawakita. She may have the looks, the fan base, and the star power, but apparently, there’s a lot more going on behind that sweet smile.
