BREAKING: Honoka Tsuji Bounces Back From Major Injury!

Now this is the kind of update I’ve been waiting for.

If you remember, back in May, Honoka Tsujii suffered one of the most serious injuries I’ve seen a JAV actress publicly talk about. What started as a mere injury suffered during a basketball game quickly turned into a nightmare. The diagnosis wasn’t just a sprain. Apparently she had completely torn a ligament, a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament, fractures, and a meniscus tear. The injury was so serious that it immediately compelled her to suspend all of her work. Honestly, when I first read about her injury. I wondered how long it would take before we’d see her again. But we finally have some good news.

After her latest follow-up examination, doctors gave her the words she’d been waiting months to hear: "You can go back to work!” And that’s how the comeback officially began. According to Honoka, she’ll fully resume her JAV activities in less than 2 months, i.e., October. Filming is no longer an issue, and she’s also open to discussing event appearances depending on her physical condition.

Reading that honestly made me smile.

Because if you’ve been keeping up with her tweets, you’ll understand how difficult this recovery has been for her. It even took an emotional toll on her, leading Honoka to cancel filming opportunities, promotional events, and countless plans that had already been arranged.

And that’s exactly what weighs most on her. In her tweet, Honoka explained that she feels deeply sorry toward her studio and fans who were affected by those cancellations. She says she’ll do everything she can to repay everyone’s support and hopes her future JAVs will make people feel: “It’s truly wonderful to have Honoka Tsujii around.”

At the time, the severity of the injury meant there was no choice but to cancel her events, including a collaboration originally scheduled for July. Naturally, those plans had to be put on hold. But thank god she is back now! With Honoka finally receiving medical clearance from her doc, she might as well fulfill those postponed commitments.

Honoka shared clips from her recovery: "I only use my crutches for support now. I can walk briskly and bend my knee all the way to 90 degrees! Plus, I can fully straighten it too!"

Honestly, after everything she’s gone through, I think that would be a pretty fitting way to celebrate her return. I recall the biggest question was whether she’d recover at that time, but now that it's happening. The conversation has become when we’ll get to see her again. Very soon, I guess!

What started as reports involving baseball players allegedly connected to so-called “zombie smoke bombs” has snowballed into something much bigger, and who knew it would have links to JAV.

One particular player from the squad (name kept confidential) was photographed spending time with a mystery lady. The photos reportedly showed the duo getting cozy, drinking together, and judging by the angle, many people online claimed they looked extremely close.

X users pointed to the similarities in her clothing online

And when such news breaks, it’s natural for the internet to have a meltdown and fans immediately begin trying to figure out who this mystery girl was!

Before long, some social media users started speculating that this mystery lady could be none other than AV actress Aya Konami, pointing to similarities in her clothing and noting that the nickname “A-ko” could plausibly match her first name.

There’s also a surprising reason why eagle-eyed fans made that connection.

One X user commented, "It’s been reported that the name of the adult film actress who shared a “near-kiss” with Shunsuke Tamura at the “Hiroshima Carp ‘Zombie Cigarette Dealer’s’ Hosted Drinking Party” is “Aya Konami.”

Aya has never hidden her love of baseball. As a Yokohama native, she frequently shares posts from ballparks and has built a reputation among fans as a JAV actress who genuinely enjoys the game. But it’s important to emphasize one thing: at this stage, those claims remain nothing more than online speculation.

Aya herself has denied such rumors; as of yet, what she has addressed, though, is the wave of rumors that followed.

Personally? I have a feeling this controversy will eventually cool down. We’ve seen similar situations involving athletes and JAV actresses in the past. The headlines were everywhere for a few days, fans' curiosity piqued, and then… fans gradually moved on. In many cases, neither side suffered long-term career damage.

Which tells you something interesting about how these stories are often viewed in Japan. Unless there’s evidence of something more serious, they’re usually treated as celebrity gossip rather than career-ending scandals, similar to the one involving Ai Hongo.

Of course, the timing isn’t ideal. Aya is currently running a crowdfunding campaign celebrating the tenth anniversary of her debut, and she was already within touching distance of reaching her goal before this story emerged.

Now I’m genuinely curious whether the online speculation has any effect on the campaign or whether fans separate the rumors from the person herself. I suppose we’ll find out soon enough.
