BREAKING: Asahi Mizuno Announces Her Return To JAV!

Today Asahi Mizuno announced that she's coming back to the JAV industry! She announced earlier with a video and then followed it up with this tweet:

ただ、皆さんに勘違いして欲しくないのはこの復活は前向きな事とゆうこと。

収入か厳しいとかじゃなく、再デビューするきっかけを頂いたので決意しました。

即答出来ず、じっくりと考えた結果ですので、そこは間違えて理解して欲しくないです????

The tweet roughly says that she's decided to come back and that she made that decision after careful consideration. She mentions an opportunity to relaunch her career and that the decision is not financially motivated. Sounds like Asahi is ready to give it another go and I'm glad to see her motivated for her return!

Asahi joins the ever increasing list of JAV actresses making redebuts to the scene. In just the past year and a bit we've seen plenty of big names comes back including Meguri, Marina Shiraishi, Minori Hatsune, RION, and most recently Chitose Saegusa. We've even seen a number of lesser known actresses come back to the industry including Rena Momozono in September. 2020 may be a year with a lot of hardships for a lot of people but the JAV industry is not one of them. While I can't speak to every actress's motivation for coming back as a fan I've been stoked about all of these lovely ladies coming back.

If you're unfamiliar with Asahi let me give you a quick rundown of her. Asahi debuted in 2013, known for her short hair and athletic body. Over the years she would blossom into one of the most popular actresses and really cement herself as a household name. She's one of my all-time favourite actresses, having been on my top 10 all-time list before, and I'd say the ratings she's gotten on DMM tell the same story for many fans. Asahi was a mainstay on the DMM rankings chart, quite frequently making the top 25. Even after her retirement in February of last year (her retirement video came out in June of last year) she continued to stay on the charts for many months after. She's also historically done quite well for herself on the yearly charts as well, peaking at 5th in 2017 and averaging 15th. The jury may be out on 2020 but maybe this late redebut might invigorate fans to help her make this year's top list as well. I would be very surprised if she isn't on an upcoming sales post for this year, even if she doesn't actually release anything this year (videos typically take 3-4 months to release after shooting but it's not clear if she filmed weeks prior to the announcement).

Personally I would say Asahi is most known for her ass. She has one of the nicest asses around, very well toned to go along with her athletic figure. Asahi was also a wonderful performer, known to do a mean dominant personality, and she has quite a few good duo/group performances in her collection as well. With being both a freelancer and willing to do all sorts of things including lesbian, Asahi got around quite a bit. She's worked with so many of my favourites which is what contributes to how many good group videos she has. I think that's also a big reason why she's one of my favourites, getting around like that just meant there were so many good options to watch. Asahi continues to be one of my most watched actresses even through her retirement. Don't just take my word for her on her ass though, check out the clip below to see it in all its glory!

I'm pretty thrilled to see Asahi coming back. Like I said, she's one of my all-time favourite actresses and I can't wait to see more of her. Even as I find myself often moving on from actresses when they retire, Asahi is one actress I'd love to see in some new content. A lot of actresses have shown they can come back and pick up exactly where they left off, and that just makes me even more excited to see some new Asahi content. I'm guessing Asahi will probably pick back up freelancing but we'll have to wait and see. From one of your biggest fans, welcome back!
