Brave. Rare is it to focus on that action when writing a review for a JAV movie--especially one that in terms of 'hardness' or 'extremeness' actually is tame. So tame in fact that one of the original Japanese user reviews described this DREAMROOM movie as being R15-rated (think PG-13 rated). When you factor in this was an update on their flagship Caribbeancom site once upon a time (and yes, this is not a 'new' movie, but one that deserves more air time!) where users very much expect to see not a single pixel in sight and totally unobscured close-ups of nether regions, "brave" is indeed the best way to describe it.

CARIBBEAN LATE NIGHT TV - THIRD TIME'S A CHARM picks up where the previous two left off and serves as a nice continuation of "late night Japanese variety TV on a shoestring budget". This time thanking any and all deities out there, the actor whose stage name I can't conjure up whom I simply call "Budget Steve" is replaced by a young and energetic and immensely more handsome Tony Ooki. The flow remains similar: hyper-energetic quartet of JAV stars bouncing around playing various sexy games in various stages of undress.

But where this one takes being brave and runs it to the very end is how sex is portrayed. If anyone recalls a SOD movie we showed a few years ago about female employees having sex with lucky guys while everyone watches, but in front of them was plexiglass, that concept returns here and dare I say, even the (thin) mosaic of that SOD movie ended up showing a lot more. Here, for reasons the movie will explain better than this review, private bits are covered by it essentially nonstop. Normally this could be where I'd join that J-reviewer and raise my pitchfork to the sky and question the purpose of life, BUT to this movie's credit, the sexy play from fingering to blowjobs to even the main act are indeed real.

Still, do we have here a strange JAV example of taking brinkmanship to its breaking point? Did the director want to see just how far he could push an "uncensored" movie in a way that has full sex yet does not show anything? I will note here to avoid any upset viewers (though they probably are not reading this...): this is probably the only example of a movie by DREAMROOM movie that is technically "uncensored" in that there is no mosaic while also remaining hardcore in that there is sex and it is real, but also thanks (not thanks) due to the strategic placements, remains entirely obscured. Given who shot this, you'd at least expect a few examples of 'accidental camera placements' or 'oops, my hand got tired, sorry for dropping the plexiglass!' moments that would catch what users really want to see, but no, this one delivers on obscuring, for better or worse.

Far and away from the norm and dare I say really taking the hyper vibe of variety TV and giving it a (light) JAV twist, THIRD TIME'S A CHARM exceeds. Obviously for large parts of it (this one does run longer for DREAMROOM movies at close to two hours) it's less erotic and more fun'n'games sexy, but this is one of those times where we'll definitely give it a pass. There are few movies like this one in JAV and I'm happy one studio decided to take the risk to let their imaginations run to the nearest plexiglass-stocked hardware store and fortunately forget to buy rubbers on the way back.
