It's no secret that JAV studios may sometimes work together behind the scenes.  Quite often--especially in VR--a production team by one studio may film something for a totally different studio (and I'm not even talking same parent company-type situations here).  Even when the companies apparently are totally unrelated, in reality, most everyone is friends with well, everyone.  The big surprise, however, is when a censored studio overtly does work for an uncensored one.  This doesn't happen often.  In fact, the trilogy of updates that begins today may be the third and potentially last time we're showing such a brazen example of this gray area phenomenon taking place.

THE FEMALE BODY REJUVENATION SEX CULT is a trilogy among trilogies.  All released around the same time, we saw DREAMROOM testing the waters with longer, slightly bizarre titles.  First, there was the WARD OF DARKENED ILLUSIONS and then THE SECRET PRISON.  Even a mild fan of unorthodox JAV should be be able figure out rather quickly that these were all done by V&R's production crew.  In fact, WARD was re-released by them in Japan censored, but with a bonus scene.  SECRET PRISON clearly notes in its end credits that it was directed by JAV godfather KAORU ADACHI and SEX CULT literally features his face and name in the SECOND STEP (online a week after this one).  Finances can make strange bedfellows and I can't deny it's great to see such a truly abnormal title being released without any mosaic.

Like the two other movies, SEX CULT features a curious mixing of 'our world' and one that combines strangeness and the occult.  Before we dealt with literal witchcraft and a female-only prison that probably only exists in the imagination of the most twisted JAV connoisseurs.  This time we focus on an 'inspiring' cult leader and his group of sexually active followers.  I was surprised to see KOUHEI TSUJIMARU cast given his apparent distaste for the industry as a whole (the impotence scene in SECOND STEP is actually an affliction he really has), but I do gotta admit he gave off a weirdly charismatic cult leader vibe.  Other followers are the who's who of weird uncensored JAV circa the period this movie was made:  UTA KOHAKU, YUMA MIYAZAKI, AI MIZUSHIMA, and that gyaru amateur from a swingers club update from a month ago surprisingly has a major role here as Mari, the cult leader's wife.

SEX CULT is a title that features almost everything you can desire in a bizarre JAV movie.  In fact, the only curious thing was the lack of creampies.  As they're a staple in most other DREAMROOM movies, I couldn't help notice that all the sex scenes finished with the actors pulling out to cum.  UTA KOHAKU's sex scene in FINAL STEP featured condom usage (!) which was odd given her role as a reporter-turned-sex maniac.  Do sex maniacs whose vocabulary has degenerated to one word prurient utterances really care much about protection?

While we've other extra big multi-part uncensored movies on the way, I fear unless things change, THE FEMALE BODY REJUVENATION SEX CULT may the final that features that otherworldly theme.  Others are more straight-forward, but still great (think summertime orgies, a 'curious' take on everyone's favorite guessing game, cuckolding, and more).  Could this experiment of extra long uncensored weird JAV continue in the future?  Will we see KAORU ADACHI and his dedicated crew engage once again in a mosaic-free world?  I sure as heck hope so!

Con's:  Plot not exactly fleshed out, re-use of that same outdoor/indoor Chiba studio again and again, no creampies in spite of the maker's track record for including them.
