ZENRA Exclusive Interview: Kanami Miura

Published : August 10th, 2021 Written by Mangochin

Another Exclusive Interview comes to the series, with the JAV idol, Kanami Miura. Kanami is a short studded actress, with iconic short hair, and a “petite” body to boot. She is under the agency All-Pro who has helped branch out in giving access to fans world-wide via SNS accounts in different languages, as well as a FANCENTRO.

You can find all the links to her socials here and I highly recommend checking out her Instagram!

As always, I hope you enjoy the interview!

How did you get involved in the industry?
I love the actresses, I love sex, and I love being seen having sex!

Out of all the movies you’ve done, which was the most enjoyable?  The least?  Why?

Well, for my favorite, there was this one movie where an especially well-endowed actor was doing me like there was no tomorrow in a never-ending piston attack (ラグジュTV)

How long do your shoots normally take?
About five to seven hours.

How has the environment on set changed since COVD-19 began?
Now the moment we enter the set we need to have our temperature taken and disinfect our hands with alcohol.

Would you ever want to appear alongside a foreign actor?
Sure thing!  I’d love to appear alongside a guy who believed in “ladies first”.

Do you think the industry has changed at all since you debuted?
Things are much stricter now with STD test compliance.

Do you watch JAV for enjoyment?  What about western porn?  If yes for either, what do you watch?
Just like a guy, I’m really into movies that have lots of squirting and creampies.  I’ve also seen my fair share of foreign movies and most of the guys there are packing!

If you had the opportunity to direct a movie, what would it be about?
Something that really goes out of its way to show the true sexual nature of someone.

Are you able to separate the sex and pleasure you may feel on set with the same sensations you feel in private?
I can, yes.  I may look like I’m in the middle of extreme pleasure while being filmed, but in reality I’m quite focused and concerned on putting on a good performance.

Do you have a boyfriend or have had one during your career?  How does he feel about what you do?  Do you have any rules about what you can and can’t do on set (for example, no raw sex) and what he can and can’t do in private (‘one night love’/brothel versus full-fledged relationships with other women)?
I’d love to have a boyfriend who loves me and only me.  I also would love if he had a big dick.  I know it may be a tall order, but I hope he could understand what I do to make a living and be fine with it.  I’m extremely passionate and would have little issue providing him with enough sexual release and certainly would not allow him to visit any brothel!

Piracy is of course, a huge issue in every industry. What do you think is the best way to tackle the issue? Do you think there are double standards between the expectation of social norms between Japanese and foreigners, i.e. -> expecting foreigners to pirate?
I’d like everyone who thinks it’s OK to pirate to be arrested.

Are there actresses that you want to work with?
There are.  Haruna Kawai  is way up there.  I also look up to Asuna Kawai .  They’re both so pretty that I can’t help but feel some jealousy.

Have you ever been spotted by fans? If so, any unique stories?
I haven’t been spotted.

If you did not decide on doing JAV, what would you be doing now?
I think I’d be focusing on being a flight attendant.

How long do you see yourself working in JAV?
As long as the movies I’m in keep selling.  I have no plans to quit!

What do you want your legacy to be in AV? Or, if you could change one thing about AV by the time you retire, what would it be?
To put it simply, I think I’ve been doing things well so far.  I’ve been able to keep certain things separate which has kept me on good footing.

Are your blood relations and real life friends aware of your career? If yes, how did they react? If not, how do you think they would react if they knew?
A few really close friends know.  They were surprised at first because I never did anything like this before, but they’ve been pretty supportive rather than kicking me to the curb.

Any message for your foreign fans?
I’m happy that you all know a lot more about Kyanamin (Kanami Miura)!  Thank you for your support.

Thanks for the interview!

It sort of depends on how people define cheating, and view the brothel industry. To some it's a no-emotions attached sex pleasure filling escapade, whereas adultery could be w/ someone outside of the fuzoku industry. Having someone be completely devoted can provide a sense of security that shelters them from past traumas. To add, it's adding an insult in a way, that "you're not good enough, despite you being a professional AV actress" sort of jibe. There's other potential options of course, so I'm just giving a generic possibility as to why.
