Top 10 JAV Actresses Who Deserved A Proper Goodbye
An actress retiring is always a tough pill to swallow. Perhaps you've been watching her for years now and suddenly she's calling it quits. But at least you can get some closure with a retirement video. However, sometimes an actress quits without any sort of final video. That is an even tougher pill to manage. Sometimes it's out of the actress's control and things happen I get it. But it still sucks for the fans to be left in the dark like this. Especially for the ones that quit without even saying they're retiring as they just disappear into the void, let alone releasing a farewell film. So today I'm counting down 10 of my favorite actresses who deserved a proper ending. Feel free to list some of your choices in the comments below. Without further ado, let's begin!
10. Sakura Kirishima
Oh, Sakura Kishima. How I miss her. For a time she was one of my top 3 favorite actresses in all of JAV. She was curvy with a top-notch pair of titties and was a very bubbly and cheerful performer who always gave it her all. Now she didn't have as long of a career as some of the other names on here with a career spanning roughly six years. But it still hurt all the same when she just disappeared from the industry after her last release in April of 2020. Making it worse was the fact that the video was just a painfully mediocre average video. She never got an actual retirement video which is a bit understandable if she just sprung this onto her agency without any heads up. She did have a YouTube channel that she was making videos for after retirement but I believe it's gone cold now.
9. Nana Aoyama
Nana Aoyama is by no means a household name in the JAV world, especially for any of you newer fans. But in her prime, she was a fantastic busty milf actress with one of the best natural pairs around. She worked with many popular studios in her time such as Moodyz, Oppai, Fitch, and even IdeaPocket. Not always the best performer mind you but always made for some juicy eyecandy. But after making her debut in 2006, she seemingly called it quits after her last release in April of 2015. After which, she completely disappeared from the industry. I haven't heard any single mention of her since then and to my knowledge, she has no socials either. But good for her if she's happy now living a peaceful life. It just would've been nice getting some final closure is all.
8. Kaori
When she was active, Kaori was easily one of my favorite actresses around. She was a perfect dummy thick milf with a big phat ass and lovely (fake)tits. Just an incredibly juicy figure all around. And she had a very long career going all the way back to about 2009 actually. But things did begin to change entering into 2019. She admittedly began letting herself go and really put on some weight. This may have played a role in her eventual silent retirement near the end of the year as her last full release was in September. Since then she's seemingly gone off the grid with no proper farewell of any kind. For someone with a 10-year career in the industry, it's sad to see. She wasn't a household name don't get me wrong but give her some respect at least. Regardless, I wish her all the best.
7. Nami Hoshino
One of my favorite big booty actresses from recent years that had a tragic end to her career. She wound up being stuck in Attackers prison. To back up a little bit, Nami made her debut back in 2012 where she soon became an S1 exclusive for most of her career. That was until the end of 2019 when she got shipped off to Attackers and quietly withered away there behind bars. She didn't get a proper retirement video at all. She just disappeared into the void. It's such a shame. Her body was one of the best among S1's roster at the time and dat ass of hers was top 5 material. But her time in Attackers just resulted in the same tired themes being repeated over and over until her eventual retirement. And if you didn't happen to like those dark themes, you were shit out of luck. What a horrible end.
6. Momoka Nishina
You know I always felt like Momoka Nishina was around for much longer but upon doing this post I learned she was in fact only active for three years. I was blown away. It always seemed like she was a staple of the industry for quite a while but not exactly. In that short time though she made a big splash, especially with her godtier body. I think you could argue that she had one of the best bodies ever in JAV. Her natural boobs were incredible, her ass was surprisingly nice, and her overall figure was immaculate. But after debuting in 2010, she seemingly dipped out after her last release in 2013 without any announcement. It really seemed like she had much more left in the tank but for reasons unknown, decided to call it quits. Wherever she is, I hope she's happy at least.
5. Kirara Asuka
This one always shocks me to the point where I had to double-check to ensure I wasn't misremembering. It's wild to think that one of the most popular actresses of her time and perhaps the biggest star of S1's roster throughout that entire decade didn't receive a proper retirement video. Her last film was released in 2018 which sorta celebrated her 10-year anniversary but yet there was nothing extraordinary about the video at all. It was just a standard bland run-of-the-mill video that obviously wasn't set up as her final release at all. Two years after that video, she would call it quits. It's such a shame that a prominent actress like herself didn't receive a proper goodbye. She seems to be doing well for herself post-retirement so good for her but it's sad for the diehards fans to not get any closure.
4. Yuma Asami
Everyone loves Yuma Asami right? She seems to be one of the most universally liked actresses around. Just an absolute sweetheart. Which makes it all the more tragic that her career ended the way it did. She was easily one of the biggest names in the industry of her time thanks to her pretty face, ample chest, and bubbly charisma. However, 8 years into her career, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She would eventually go on to make a full recovery but obviously decided not to return to JAV. I completely understand her decision honestly. But it just stings that her career was cut short due to an element out of her control. At least for her sake, she's been able to focus on her music career becoming an independent singer-songwriter. I'm very happy for her.
3. Aimi Yoshikawa
Good ol' Aimi Yoshikawa. The textbook definition of the term "busty petite" standing at just 5 feet tall but sporting an H-Cup chest. She was one my of favorites when she was active but unfortunately, she would retire without a proper farewell film. She began her career working in gravure in 2012 before shortly transitioning to AV about six months later. Aimi was a very prominent actress during her time shooting for S1 exclusively before becoming a freelancer. However, in November 2018 she announced her retirement from JAV. Since then she's been working as a hostess. I'll always remember her for her S+ tits if nothing else. Also for her rather loud moans closely resembling an ambulance at times.
2. Kurea Hasumi
Kurea was one of my all-time favorite JAV actresses, hell she still is. She's delivered some of the best performances you'll ever see on top of an S+ tier-level booty. Her whole figure is honestly immaculate, minus the bolt-ons really. But my point is that she's an amazing talent who was absolutely robbed of a proper retirement video. Kurea has been in the business since 2012 with a career spanning about 10 years. And despite that, she just quietly exits the industry. I understand that maybe it was her own personal choice to just up and leave without a farewell video but it doesn't make it any easier for all us fans. Obviously, she's happy now running her own bar and everything but she really deserved to go out with a bang. She put in so much work and hustled her ass off.
1. Hitomi
Sigh. This one easily hurts the most out of any actress here. Everyone knows I'm a massive Hitomi fan so upon seeing her retirement announcement, I was in shock. However, I wasn't too surprised as it felt like her career was in its twilight era. So while I was definitely saddened to hear this, I somewhat expected it. But at least on the bright side, she was getting a proper retirement video. That excitement was short-lived lived though as the video was a complete joke and did absolutely nothing to celebrate her career besides a small announcement at the beginning and her receiving some flowers near the end. It was a painfully bland film that was clearly rushed together as a final farewell. I gave it a pretty "meh" score in my review. Hitomi deserved a much better sendoff than this.

How about one who should retire: Julia. Please don't misunderstand, she's STUNNING but, smile aside, always looks like she'd rather be somewhere else.
Her titles were repetitive in the extreme, but if you like good things in small packages, you could do worse.
She said she considered leaving in 2020, but I believe she lost the calling after her "relationship" ended. I think she's very heartfelt and that crushed her.
Yuu's actions are quite weird. Perhaps we should reach out to readers in Dubai to see if she's spotted there as rumors may say.
