About MINAMO and her YouTube channel MINAMO JUNCTION

It has already been 2 years since SOD Star Exclusive MINAMO made her debut. Her YouTube channel MINAMO JUNCTION has seen a raise in popularity right alongside her JAV endeavors with over 200,000 subscribers (me included) since December 2021. Through her VLOG (Video Blog) style videos, viewers get a glimpse of the star's hobbies and personality outside of JAV. She is also a MC/host for the Hadaka Ikkan YouTube channel featuring interviews of current and former JAV actresses.

Even under Pressure, she is thankful for her success.

In the video's introduction, MINAMO starts by thanking all those involved in her works. She then reflects on the past year, one of real changes and experiences good and bad. She says most of the goals she envisioned in her first year have come true. MINAMO is very happy about her success but also felt under pressure.

Worries about fans, SNS (social media) and her future.

Even with success, she worries about fans, SNS (social media) and her future. In regard to SNS, she wants to do the best for her fans. Though her VLOGs she would like to show more of her JAV personality alongside her lighthearted nature seen in her JUNCTION videos and YouTube Shorts thus far.

Becoming a fashion gravure model is the next goal.

MINAMO's next goal in the upcoming year is to be a fashion gravure model. Fashion and art have always been hobbies she has enjoyed. MINAMO has taken part in past exhibitions alongside other opportunities as a fashion gravure artist. Even if the goal isn't in reach in a year, she wants to continue pursuing it in the future.

Showing more "MINAMO" in her AV works.

MINAMO in addition says that being a JAV actress isn't a job that the easiest to promote oneself. She is very grateful to her fans that like "Minamo-chan." Those same fans, she said, have helped teach her about the joy of knowing herself. MINAMO wants to continue to challenge herself, do her best and make people smile.

Thoughts on the video and MINAMO JUNCTION

I feel the decision to film this video outdoors on an early evening that had pleasant weather worked well overall. I enjoy that her VLOGs feature trips to not just promotional events but also places and things that interest her like bears, Legos and vinyl records (vinyl collecting is also one of my hobbies). On the technical side it's mostly straightforward, some displayed text but not as much zany, standard YouTube sound effects (loud airhorns, the usual royalty free songs, etc.). The one-shot approach was also a plus for me. It felt more personal and though MINAMO had particular things in mind to say, I didn't get a sense it was practiced or scripted. MINAMO's silliness in many of her JUNCTION VLOGs and Shorts always gives me a chuckle.
