Beginner Series - Sports - An Introductory Look At Sports Themes In JAV

Hey everyone, Oppaira here. This year was supposed to have the 2020 Olympics and in Tokyo no less but the world had other plans. Don't fret though, I've got you covered with this post! Today I'm picking up a fun series for the first time here called the Beginner Series, this time featuring a sports theme. Rather than your typical top list where you just pick he best videos I pick a few videos that highlight what a particular topic has to offer. I'll cover a wide range of videos on the theme and point out why the video or actress in the video stands out to me, as well as give a bit of background about the theme being presented in the video. With that said let's get into it.

Why This Actress / Video?

When I think of sports themed videos the first thing that pops into my mind are videos like this where they feature a lot of different sports. Studios love cramming as much as they can into a single video so you often get videos like this where the scenes are only loosely connected by a theme. Especially when the theme allows them to have different outfits it makes all of the scenes feel unique and more enjoyable. While they can sometimes be hit or miss the good ones tend to be really good and boy is Kaho Shibuya's entry one of the best that I've seen. For starters we get four different scenarios in bicycle, workout, karate, and swimsuit. Three of those scenes are sex scenes as well, and even when she's not having sex she's using her amazing tits for some mind-blowing titty fucking. There are plenty more of these variety packs so if you're not sure what sports related items you like, or if you like them all, this option is great.

Why This Actress / Video?

Sports manager is a surprisingly iconic thing. I know as a westerner I don't tend to think about managers for sports clubs but in Japan it's quite common. It's quite common to see some cute manager in an anime and have the characters fawn after her. That's pretty much the story here as all the team members go wild for Aika and use her as a cum dumpster. I like to think of it more as encouragement for the players (you can bet some will work extra hard if the reward is Aika). We get to see Aika in some wonderful bloomers and there's a ton of great sports visuals when she's at volleyball practice with them. While Aika isn't directly involved in the sports it's always nice to see something on theme, and this theme has been done a lot (especially by S1 and Prestige).

Workout themes are so simple yet so nice. I'm sure everyone's been to the gym before and seen some hottie working out, or even just seen a girl in yoga pants. You don't even need a good video to make it enjoyable, just an actress in those gym clothes and a bit of sweat and we've got ourselves a winner. That's definitely the grab here, the lovely Shunka in her gym clothes having sex at the gym. The video is from the perspective of her being the instructor so scenes often have a slight bit of plot to it where the lesson turns sexual. I find that sort of plot to be quite enjoyable as it offers a simple and clean segue into the action. What makes this one stand out is actually the variety of scenes at the gym itself. Getting a scene where she blows some guys in the change room and gives someone a titty fuck in the showers are great short scenes in between the lengthy sex scenes. This is also one of the most common themes you'll see because it's so straight forward and simple to do. It may not always be in the gym but definitely the ones at the gym are the best.

Why This Actress / Video?

Alright so this is a little bit of a weird one where it's a lesbian wrestling match. The actresses strip naked, get oiled up, and wrestle. Oiled wrestling isn't anything new but perhaps doing it in a sexual manner is. The actresses score points by making each other orgasm so they're always aggressively going at it. It's by the studio Rocket which is known for their weird and wacky videos and this usually seems a bit out there the first time you see it. I think it being out there makes it stand out and it's a good change of pace from the more traditional video. It's also a video they've done a surprising number of times so if you like it there's plenty more.

For starters I love the cast in this one, four great busty actresses highlighted by one of my personal favourites Kaho Shibuya. Having someone as lively and energetic as her starring is pretty key for a video like this, and I know she has spoken about how she loved these wrestling ones because of her love of wrestling. Going onto the video itself it's a really interesting one because it takes an approach of focusing heavily on the sports theme and putting anything sexual to the side. There's no power slam or Rock Bottom but the actresses go at it pretty aggressively and it's nice to see. Rocket has quite a few of these and they do range quite a bit in terms of learning towards wrestling or lesbian sex, this one leaning more towards lesbian sex (which I think is more enjoyable). That's highlighted by a group scene at the end that is definitely more relaxed. Sports videos tend to be heavily focused on the sex and leave the sports theme as just a backdrop with the outfit or setting so putting more focus on it is really great for a discussion like this. Again, this isn't your conventional video but it's better than it looks and worth a watch.

Why This Actress / Video?

Right off the bat we're greeted with some nice visuals that show off the sports theme with them practicing volleyball in their bloomers. There's just so much right about all the visuals with the combination of those milfs in those outfits and playing volleyball in a gym. Volleyball is surprisingly common as a sport in JAV, probably the most common actual sport next to swimming, so definitely a dedicated video had to make it. I think the video also highlights something really nice which is the milf aspect. Sports are typically something that's reserved for younger people with the presumption that this cast, at their age, wouldn't really be doing sports anymore, so it's a nice change of pace to see some mature women here. Speaking of which, having multiple women here is also quite nice. Each has their own scene but the group scene at the end is really great to see. Sports is so often a group activity so seeing the actresses come together for a group activity feels right at home.

Why This Actress / Video?

Race queen is another iconic theme in JAV and is just sports related enough to make the cut. A lot of what drives the sports theme are the outfits and this definitely hits the mark. Compared to other race queen videos I found this one did a much better job at the outfits. You've got the iconic leotard in the first scene, a skirt and short top later on, and the hot leather outfit in the final scene. You've also got some variety with her hairstyle that's nice to see. On top of all the variety in the outfits there's also some good variety in the scenes themselves. One of the later scenes includes her getting a few loads on her face and the final scene includes sex on top of a motorcycle. Studios often try to cut corners with production quality so the videos that put in that extra mile really do stand out. Easily a well done race queen video that I would recommend, and if you find yourself enjoying the theme there's plenty more to dive into.

Why This Actress / Video?

Swimsuits are one of the most iconic themes in not just sports related themes but JAV in general. It's really common to see them in competitive swimsuits as well, and I think it hits a lot better than a simple bikini because bikinis are much more mainstream. I picked this one specifically because of the strong focus on the theme. Swimsuit videos are often really lacking because they take it off 10 minutes into the scene and you just don't get the swimsuit theme as prevalently anymore. I find I personally prefer the clothed sex aspect of it so videos that keep the swimsuit on really stand out. I also appreciated that they actually had a pool here, sometimes they use the outfit in a bedroom or classroom and it just doesn't feel the same. Oh, and it's not just any pool, it's the pool, which is perhaps the most iconic location in all of JAV.
