Not a bad list. Four of them are in my top eight, the 5th entry MIAA-120 is a little further down. Others I really enjoyed include HODV-21456, SSNI-261, EBOD-684, and SSNI-110.

Kurea's entry was good but the bar is set pretty high for this series. The 5th place spot is quite crowded and it was a difficult choice, I could see putting Kurea's in 5th place. The top three are quite a step above the rest and I'm happy about putting Meguri's in the top five and above Kurea's.

Yeah a lot of studios have been copying others. It's not a new thing either, they've been copying each other for years. I do think it would be interesting taking that spin on it, grabbing actresses like Yumi Kazama, Reiko Sawamura, and Yu Kawakami. I do tend to like when they take a mature woman and put her in a video that adds a bit of pep in her step since they usually find themselves in submissive dramas. I doubt it will be brought back but I'd happily accept new entries.

I gotta admit that this one was really quite good, I wound up watching it because you and some others said it was so good. I decided not to read your review before watching it to avoid any bias and wound up reviewing it was the same rating. There's just so much done right and I loved Yua's performance. Definitely one of the best of the year and for Yua in general.

It's weird to see them market Erena as a foreigner, NINE-028 literally says she's Filipino in huge letters on the cover and it's not the only cover to do so. They touted her as a new debut too despite her being active since 2015 (although after 2017 she was doing uncensored exclusively to my knowledge).

I actually think it's good overall that Julia is leaving and going elsewhere. I think actress-studio stagnation is a big problem, which is to say that an actress being at a studio too long causes problems. They often find themselves doing the same kind of videos over and over again meanwhile another studio has wonderful videos for them to star in. I actually really wish Hitomi would leave but I guess if Julia and Matsuri are out the door they're doubling down on Hitomi (not that I think she's ever getting out of Oppai). I would wager Oppai doesn't know what they're doing, I've long since felt like they've done a poor job with talent acquisition, especially on the freelance side of things. There are a lot of actresses that should have starred in some videos and didn't for some reason.

On that note, Hitomi really isn't that unpopular in Japan. She was on the top 100 list earlier this year and historically she's actually been well received domestically. Yeah not some S tier like Julia but maybe a top 250 actress. Based on the historical data I have from the past decade Hitomi is only just outside the top 50. Sure, she's far more popular outside of Japan, but she's still more popular than people think.
