The Drama

Moodyz has brought back the Bako Bako Bus Tour once again, but not without its hurdles and stumbles as we covered here before. If you haven’t been following this story, the latest entry was in danger of not being released. Many believed it had to do with Karin Touno as the reason for the film’s delay. Right as the film was announced, Karin’s films were being removed and delisted online. She seems to have left porn and now all her social accounts are wiped out. If she was the reason for the delay, which we can’t say definitively, they seemed to have worked out whatever issue was holding up the movie. As for Karin, she appears normal, like any other actress.

The Video

The video starts like all Bako Bus videos, with the Bus scenes as the actresses get up close and personal with the guys. Then the action moves to the resort and all the games and orgies. The big orgies are the main attraction, but the whole event is filled with sex games and smaller group sex scenes to give everyone more screentime. Now this entry is packed to the brim at nearly 14 hours long. Not only is it peppered with cameos throughout to keep things fresh; both male and female. They bring in the former Bako Bus MC as well as Taka Kato, a famous AV actor back in the day, for his ability to make women squirt. They also called in legendary Director Toru Muranishi, who people might recognize from Netflix’s The Naked Director.

The Problem

Now, how is the video itself, and was it worth all the drama and build-up? I have to say, maybe not. I do have a few big and small issues with the Moodyz special. The biggest is easily the Face Censors. For whatever reason, they decided to censor the faces of all the actors. Censors already suck, and now it appears all over the dang movie. It’s such a jarring choice, and I have to question why they did it. The thing is, they’ve censored men’s faces before in these videos, but never like this. Even odder is that they even censor some of the pros. There are a few regular AV actors who appear, and their faces are blurred too. At this point, I just want to know what is happening behind the scenes.

The Standouts

Now that we've got the bad out of the way, how about the good things about the video? The good thing, as always are the ladies. I thought everyone brought good energy and enthusiasm into the action, with some special standouts. Ladies like Yuri Oshikawa, Kanae Yumemi, and Mina Kitano came to show off and make a show. Kokoro Asano really caught my eye with how hard she went while fucking. Meanwhile, Hinata Natsu came to have fun, was a ball of energy, and got handsy with the other ladies. I have a lot of issues with the film, but the ladies have little to do with it.

The Verdict

For Moodyz’s 25^th anniversary, they have put out the weakest entry in the revived Bako Bus specials. Part of it has to do with the weak group sex, the so-so variety, and a big part of it has to do with the censored faces. All that said, it does have a great cast powering the whole affair, interesting cameos, lots of fun, and a ton of video to watch. If you want to see a bunch of JAV stars from today, have fun and be wacky, then this might be a good fit, but it’s far from a recommendation to everyone.

The Alternative

Now there’s actually another orgy series that just came out from Honnaka that fixes a lot of the problems I have with Bako Bus. It’s not as big-budget or as long, but it’s just as fun, and their orgy feels like a real orgy. The games are fun (loved the limbo game), the sex is wild and chaotic, and they used pro actors so they actually know how to fuck the girls. I honestly recommend this over Bako Bus.
