Sofia Takigawa – Half Portuguese
We start with Sofia Takigawa, who is half Portuguese and even grew up in Portugal for most of her early life. She moved to Japan later on and had to learn the language there, and is able to speak in Portuguese, English, and Japanese now. Joining AV after deciding to stay in Japan after university. She is a lesser-known actress who was only around for 2 years around 2012 with a modest career catalog. A milfy type with a mature face, a slim figure, and a nice pair of big tits that look enhanced. She would give us one of the best uses of Portuguese in JAV with her title.

Her Portuguese lessons are littered throughout the film from start to finish and play heavily into the scenes too. She plays the tutor role typically for most of the film, except for one absolute standout scene. The second scene transforms Sofia’s nice and gentle tutor into an utter menace who becomes a Portuguese yelling taskmaster.

Sofia becomes a mean and bitchy witch who controls men with a tie and spanks her ass to get his attention. A total outlier from the rest of the movie and the best of the whole movie. It is so rare to see this type of aggression from actresses in JAV, and never while they are barking orders in Portuguese. A one-of-a-kind scene in JAV, I recommend it for that scene alone. You have to see it to believe it.
Nozomi Aso – Half Thai
Next up, we head to Thailand with the Hāfu Nozomi Aso. A decent star during her time, she first started with SOD before moving to MAXING and finally freelancing during her final years. She certainly looked different from others thanks to her darker complexion, big round eyes, and long figure. At 5’7”, this half-Thai babe was much taller than the competition.
Tall with long legs, a long midsection, and a rather long neck too. Everything about her was long, and it all gave her a very unique and model-esque figure. You don’t see many with her body type. She was popular among Taiwanese fans for her resemblance to a famous actress, but the truth about her heritage only came out afterwards. Nozomi gained greater notoriety after running afoul of the law, which is actually how her Thai heritage came out.

A name that’s really not known, which is understandable, if a shame. This half Portuguese cutie first started off as a gravure model before moving to porn and was active for really only about a year in the 2013.

A shame because Lauren was something else. In Aisha’s case, it’s because her mix is a bit more complicated. Aisha is part Japanese, part Filipino, and part Emirati, which she revealed in an interview with June Lovejoy. Emirati, meaning United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is ethnically vague and could mean she is part Arab, South Asian, or even Egyptian.

Anna Ohura – Half French (Unconfirmed)
Anna Ohura was a popular name for the far past. A curvaceous babe who was active around the early 2000s, who is listed on a few sites as being a Hāfu. Deleted sources, flimsy references, and delisted movies make it hard to confirm her mixed status. If it is true, then it makes Anna one of the first instances of a Hāfu star in JAV.

We have the part Spanish and part American Sally Amuro, the half Korean Yuna Choi, the Puerto Rican Coco Sanchez, the Australian born Emma Chizuru, Anna the ballerina, and her Russian half. There is also Luna Takai, Cecil Fujisaki, Rin Miyazaki, Risa Morisawa, Takashi Hasumi, Kato Rose, Tina, Monika Hasegawa, Anna Shinozaki, and more. Maria Takagi and Rei Kikukawa are another pair of very old names in the JAV history books that may or may not be mixed race. They could be with Anna as some of the first Hāfu stars; however, spotty record keeping makes it difficult to confirm.
