Panking's 2025 JAV Retrospective: Top 5 Disappointing Videos of 2025 Part 2

I was so stoked for this one upon its release. A femdom inspired Aya Onami film? Sign me up! But it was sadly a pretty big disappointment. The general premise is fine enough as it's your typical straightforward femdom setup with Aya having her way with several different guys in a dominating fashion. This all sounds well and fine on paper right? Aya sports a few sexy dominatrix outfits and even delivers a relatively solid performance. It's not the best femdom performance I've ever seen but her enthusiasm and facial expressions are more than serviceable enough. The production values aren't too shabby either although the settings can be a little bland.

What's the problem then? It's the action. The film begins with a dull solo masturbation scene that is just a waste of time. Why kickstart your femdom video with...that? We then get our first sex scene which isn't bad but only features cowgirl sadly. It's the next two scenes that really drags things down. Both are just glorified handjob scenes with a heavy dose of teasing, some nipple play and a bit of male squirting. Some may like it but having both scenes back to back makes for a real slog. The last sex scene isn't terrible at least with a better array of positions and features multiple actors. But even then the whole film is just underwhelming. I was really wanting to see Aya go all out but the action is just extremely middling. Such potential gone to waste.

It had been quite awhile since I've last watched a new Nao Jinguji release. It feels like 3/4 of her vids are just lame dramas so I was elated to see one with a seemingly major focus on her ass. Couple that with a teacher theme and this could be a home run. Instead it's a big swing and a miss. All this sounds amazing on paper and that cover is some grade A eyecandy. But it unfortunately really loses me in several ways. One of which is the last scene as a whole. Talk about a complete whiff. The lighting is drab and there's barely ANY ass focus at all despite that being a key factor of the theme. Can't forget to mention that it doesn't even take place at the school. Instead, it's in some random hotel room. How lame is that?

Now the other scenes do make better use of the theme with an appropriate amount of ass and legs focus on top of every scene featuring pantyhose. And for what it's worth her performance is solid too. But that's really all the praise I can offer up. The rest of the lighting is rather meh for one thing. The action though takes the cake as the worst offense. There's maybe one real cumshot in the entire video which is just inexcusable. The first sex scene only offers up cowgirl, no other positions at all. There are some quality shots in the scene but not having any doggystyle is huge letdown. And the scenes in-between are completely forgettable as they're just a footjob and assjob with fake dicks and cumshots. MIDA-356 boasts an amazing cover but doesn't come close to matching it.

I had such high hopes for this one. I'd been kinda lukewarm on Shio Asami but I really thought this could be her breakout film. It's a favorite theme of mine but sadly it doesn't even come close to that mark. The plot itself is a JAV classic as we see the male lead fall for his girlfriend's busty sister. She starts out resistant at first but after a scene or two, fully embraces this fling. It's a great setup as always with some decent action to boot. We're treated to several sex scenes and a couple paizuri scenes. While the sex scenes aren't bad, it's unfortunate that risk is not a factor in any of them. There's a bit of that in one of the paizuri scenes but it's not nearly enough.

It's such a missed opportunity as risk is always a major component to this theme. Now the lighting isn't bad at least and the camerawork is fine. What really drags this film down into the dirt is Shio Asami's lifeless performance. Strong acting is always vital with a plot like this and Shio falls completely flat. I've seen more energy from a log of wood. Her facial expressions are absolutely abysmal and her "enthusiasm" has just one setting all throughout. It's such an utterly awful performance in every way and it greatly detracts from most of the scenes like the POV tittyfuck scene. There is some solid eyecandy for sure but it's not enough to salvage this film. If she showed even an ounce of excitement then maybe it'd be a different story. As it is, it's a complete letdown.

Hana Himesaki is easily one of my favorite JAV actresses and the IR genre has been seeing a small resurgence as of late. This has the recipe to be a five-star meal but sadly it's nothing more than colossal flop. The plot itself is fine with Hana playing the role of an innkeeper as she has her way with a black man who stays at her place for the night. Sounds good so far plus her performance is pretty great too. It's so refreshing to see an actress visibly enjoy herself in an IR film. Usually they're much more submissive. We're cooking with gas so far but unfortunately that's where the positives end. One of my biggest grievances has to be the production values.

The camerawork for one thing is absolutely terrible. There is way too much fisheye lens for one thing. I normally don't mind it all that much but it's very egregious here. It's especially worse when many of the angles just flat out suck. The lighting isn't as bad but does still suffer from being hit-or-miss at times. My second biggest issue is that all the cumshots are fake. It's so agonizingly frustrating as the sex scenes aren't half bad and the tittyfuck scenes are solid thanks to her upbeat performance. But it's all ruined by the laughably bad fake cum. This is easily one of my biggest disappointments in years. There's so much potential here but it's all gone to waste.

There's no competition for biggest letdown of 2025. This takes the cake by a country mile. I had hopes this could live up to greatness of MIRD-150(with Anri and Hitomi) but it unfortunately doesn't even come close. There's no setup here as it's straight vanilla, letting these two take center stage. That's all fine as you don't always need a plot but the execution is just a complete swing and a miss. The only good thing I can say that they both look good...that's about it. Sure the action isn't too bad as it features several sex scenes with the pair together which sounds nice on paper. However, there's one massive flaw that brings it all down. The lighting is just absolutely awful.

Every single scene is way too damn bright to the point where it feels like you're getting flashbanged nonstop. There is zero variety at all. It's just mind boggling how they thought this was okay. You need to have some shading or shadows with bustier actresses to accentuate their curves but they apparently didn't get the memo. There's also next to no interaction between the pair. I wasn't expecting anything wild but at least give us something besides some pitifully light fondling. It's not all bad as their individual performances aren't bad and I did like the POV nurse scene as it has some nice moments. It's far cry from what it could've been though. From a potential gigabanger to a completely forgettable dud. Oh, what could've been...
