Yuka Nizuma has dropped a major career update. If you missed it by chance, don’t worry, I've got you covered! This one did come as a bit of a surprise, though.

After previously being in the news for quitting C-MORE and purposely dropping her stage name, YUUKA has now announced that she's also leaving her current agency, StarNext, and the reason behind the exit might surprise you.

In her tweet, Yuuka revealed that her ongoing skin problems have not improved, and she's also been dealing with severe gastroesophageal reflux. The symptoms have become so serious that she's currently unable to continue filming JAV porn; as a result, she's decided to suspend her activities and leave the agency.

So naturally, the first question is: Will YUUKA come back? That’s for her to answer. YUUKA hasn't made any decision about whether she’ll shoot JAV porn in the near future or maybe sign with another agency. For the moment, she says her priority is simply getting enough rest and focusing on recovering.

Yuka has made it clear for indepndent producers who need to contact her can respond directly to her announcement since she's already left her agency.

But this is quite different from what we usually see in the industry. YUUKA, however, appears to be taking a completely different approach. She's essentially putting everything on hold.

But now, seeing her suddenly announce that she's suspending everything naturally made me wonder what happened behind the scenes. For now, though, her health has to come first. The good news is that, according to an agent we're familiar with, YUUKA still has a strong desire to return once she's recovered.

She still has remaining contractual obligations with Madonna, and there have also reportedly been discussions about filming and events after her contract expires with the studio. But there's another issue.

If YUUKA eventually decides to return to mainstream JAV porn, she'll probably need agency representation again. The current industry structure generally requires production work and event appearances to be coordinated through agencies, unless she decides to move into independently produced doujin AV; finding a new agency would therefore likely be part of her comeback plans. But that's a problem for later. Right now, the goal for her should simply be recovery.
