BREAKING: 8MAN's Complete REVAMP & Yuka Onosaka's 'New Chapter' With TPowers

JAV Agency 8MAN Just Went Through A REVAMP For The First Time!

Let’s be honest for a second. In the JAV industry, a sudden name change rarely arrives without smoke. And right now, there’s a lot of smoke surrounding 8MAN.

Or should I say, SO MODEL AGENT.

Yes, the self-proclaimed “number one AV agency of the Reiwa era” has officially shed its old identity and discreetly reintroduced itself under a new name. On paper, it’s just a rebrand.

Except… nothing about the timing feels normal.

Because this change didn’t happen abruptly. It was followed by months of increasingly strange developments that, when stitched together, paint a completely different picture, which is difficult to ignore.

So, it began with the departure of Nene Yoshitaka, who, for once, was the agency’s poster girl, after Aoi Tsukasa's retirement. Losing a major star to rival powerhouse T-Powers was already enough of a blow for the agency, but then things started unraveling in ways that felt oddly coordinated.

A scheduled photo exhibition was canceled. A jointly published photo book project involving two was also canceled.

Rumors started swirling when a photo exhibition was cancelled

Even the actresses associated with Eightman started dropping hints, and honestly, those may be the most revealing part of all.

Mei Washio recently posted cryptic remarks like, “I know something,” followed by, “I have my reasons for not being able to say.”

And it was enough to give way to rumors.

Unlike the infamous 44MANAGEMENT agency that found itself embroiled in a controversy, which exploded into mainstream after Natsu Hinata openly exposed unpaid wages and triggered industry-wide scrutiny, there are currently no such claims tied to 8MAN’s transformation into SO MODEL AGENT.

No leaked documents or disputes that have come to light, either. Just patterns. And sometimes they are enough to make fans uneasy.

Because let’s not pretend agencies casually reinvent themselves overnight for no reason. And it’s difficult to miss. 44MANAGEMENT became Vector Inc. after its scandal. Now, 8MAN becomes SO MODEL AGENT amid abrupt setbacks.

It could be a coincidence. But even people inside the industry seem hesitant to speak too loudly, which, ironically, makes the silence feel even louder. Operationally, the agency still appears… stable.

Minō Suzume is still actively posting. New releases are still happening. Most of their actresses remain tied to Faleno Group productions, and interestingly enough, newcomer Miura Nana recently debuted with Madonna. It’s a healthy sign that things are working out for them.

More debuts are reportedly on the way, too.

So whatever is happening, it doesn’t seem to be a complete collapse. At least not publicly.

Yuka Onosaka's One Month Break Before Stepping Into 'New Chapter' With TPowers

This week, the spotlight lands on Yuka Onosaka.

Yuka is officially moving to T-Powers. And no, she’s not changing her stage name either.

And she’ll continue to film under the same name. At least, that’s the surface-level story.

Something quietly might’ve happened.

In her statement, Yuka spoke warmly about her former agency, Bambi Promotion, thanking them for helping shape her career. “Without the training I received there, I wouldn’t be who I am today,” she explained, carefully acknowledging the staff and environment that supported her growth. And it is exactly the kind of message you’d expect from someone trying to leave on a good note.

Then she revealed the pivot.

“Now, carrying the precious memories and experience I accumulated… I will join T-Powers with a fresh mindset.”

But here’s where things become more interesting.

Before officially stepping into this “new chapter” with her agency, Onosaka also announced she’ll be taking a one-month break to rest and recharge. Naturally, fans immediately started asking the obvious question:

Will this affect her appearance at the TRE2026 later this year? And honestly, I wondered the same thing.

Because Yuka isn’t just another actress in the event lineup, she’s a Silver Card member for TRE2026. That’s no small feat. A sudden agency switch plus a one-month break right before a major event season would usually send fans into panic.

Except… there’s apparently no reason to panic at all. Why?

Because T-Powers has already been handling her TRE schedule since the beginning of the year.

Although the announcement only arrived now, it is assumed that this transition has effectively been in motion for months. Which confirms that this isn’t a sudden jump.

If you remember what’s been happening around Bambi Promotion lately, this move almost makes sense.

Last October, Mizuki Aibara publicly alleged issues involving payouts and accused the agency of unfair payment practices. Since then, Bambi has struggled to get rid of the allegations. Several actresses quietly distanced themselves, many migrating toward the newly formed StarNext agency.

Yuka, interestingly enough, also left around that same period. Only, instead of StarNext… she ended up with T-Powers.

So this move should feel less like career exploration and more like career stabilization. As the dust has finally settled enough for everyone involved to stop pretending the move wasn’t already complete.

And then there’s that “one-month break.”

Personally? I don’t think she is disappearing; I think it’s more of a temporary slowdown in releases while her schedules are completely in place behind the scenes.

Once summer hits, I suspect Yuka Onosaka will return exactly as promised, filming JAVs back to back.

These agencies are always so shady. You never hear any good stories about how they look after talent. Sadly it seems to be the case everywhere.

Recently a number of US states and a few countries of note have enacted age verification requirements for adult sites. On the US front at least, legal experts both within and outside of our industry do not believe any will pass a constitutional test. However, since these laws currently are on the books and thus have the ability to be enforced, we are choosing to comply with them at this point in time.

ZENRA uses Bluecheck.me, a third party verification service, to perform this important task easy to install filtering software does infinitely better.

Information used in the verification process is not stored on our servers. Phone number and address verification is instant and uses database cross referencing (no calls, no SMS messages, nothing mailed to the address). ID verification takes about one minute and is performed 'blind' on Bluecheck's side where the ID is reviewed by someone unaware of what service the submitter is attempting to access.

Regardless of what method you choose, it costs you nothing, but does increase the cost of our operations in order to somehow make the internet a 'safer' place.
