Welcome to the first sales report of the year. Let's go see who is starting this year off strong

Okay this has got to be some sort of insane pull of a video. 8 years of content. 87 works, 46 hours, 12 discs. What an absolutely absurd collection. We’re used to omnibus videos but this kind of thing not so much. Fair that it’s as good of a time as any to release given her Faleno transfer but still, what an insane release.

I for one am glad to see Rui Shidou getting the appreciation she deserves. She’s nice all around, great boobs, great ass, cute, just great. She may be overshined a bit by Kanna Seto (though who isn’t) but I could see her really competing for third place after Saika, or maybe even second place (step aside Saika, Rui is nicer than you).

Rena has been doing decently for herself in recent times but jumping up like this is rather surprising. She has just sort of always been this busty chick there quietly making decent videos but not making waves. Maybe it’s time she did? The fact that she’s a shared exclusive for Madonna and Fitch gives her a lot of good opportunities, and I’ve found they’ve leaned well at times into her being on the younger side. This headphones cover is very reminiscent of her last year as a streamer and I think Rena is poised to keep up a decent rating if she keeps mixing in hentai adaptations and image videos as well.

I don’t know what it is with Waka Misono that she’s taken the industry by storm. She spent the earlier half of her career a little bit on the thicker side and then once she cut that weight the industry was like YO WHO IS THIS BABE. To be the one dethroning Kanna Seto from a top spot is wild, it’s like Waka can do no wrong. And sure, there are some great qualities to her, her deepthroating is a thing of beauty. But seriously, dethroning Kanna Seto is a feat on itself.

Let’s stop for a second and talk about the new Bako Bako Bus Tour release. What an insane pull it is to get several exclusives from other studios. I’ve always known it to be freelancers and Moodyz exclusives but this time around they seemed to have pulled from everywhere. Kokoro Asano from S1, Suzuna Yamada from IP, Natsu Hinata from Honnaka, Iyo Shinohara from Madonna, Kanae Yumemi from Tameike Goro, and Toa Kiyomiya from E-Body. I count six studios they picked instead of grabbing more Moodyz actresses, kind of wild to me. Hell, they have more exclusives not from Moodyz than they do from Moodyz, I would never have expected this. I hope the controversy and issues from this don’t become a problem because this is an insane grab and the world deserves to see it.

When Akari went back to freelance I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it. To some degree I’ve always felt like she does better freelancing because she can get more opportunities to flex her performing skills. At the same time though you risk getting only mediocre opportunities. I can see now it’s going well with this VR film she had come out a few days ago. Ahegao Akari feels right even if I’d rather have her dom me. Hopefully this is as good as it looks.

Momo Inoue appears to be the real deal because damn she has three entries in the top 10 DVDs. That’s even more than Kanna Seto believe it or not! Feels like people saw the second cover, went wow she has a nice body too, and then went back and grabbed her debut film. Maybe Moodyz can promote her like the next Mio Ishikawa, they had a lot of success there and I feel like this more innocent charm she has can probably be a great boost to her.

HR doing porn definitely feels like it violates some sort of company rule. If I can’t watch porn at the office you definitely can’t star in porn at the office. And yet, that’s what’s going on in Hikage Yoda’s debut film. Now sure, it’s for SOD’s employee label so it’s staged, but it’s interesting to me that the employee label has really been taking off lately. I’ll be curious in a year or two to reflect on how many make it to the main roster like Haru Shibasaki did.

Is anyone else getting tired of seeing Kanna everywhere? I would be fine with it if she had just one video, but no, she has to go and dominate the sales. I mean just look at this, four videos in the top 10 and the top two didn’t change place? It’s absurd at this point.

Karin seems to be doing really well for herself these days. She has 7th place on both physical and digital sales on DMM plus a video here in the top 10 digitally. It’s always interesting to see actresses gain popularity much later in their careers like Karin is. I can understand when they swap studios or start doing new stuff or whatever, Karin’s case seems to be she’s just pumping out videos, more than 10 in January so this kind of thing is bound to happen. Good for her and I hope she keeps up the success.

Miyu Aizawa (逢沢みゆ) has been everywhere for a while now and now we’re resorting to unusual covers. I had to double take when I saw the cover but I guess you can really do whatever you want when you’re this popular. I can’t imagine this video has enough substance to do well but hey, that’s the beauty of being exclusive, you can just skip the bad stuff and not sweat it.

If you haven’t heard the news Yuka Niizuma (新妻ゆうか) left her agency C-More. I’m really starting to get mad at agencies because it seems like a lot of actresses go from being some of my favourites to flat out retiring because of it. We’ve seen it happen quite notably with Konan Koyoi too, who conveniently was also part of C-More. They still have plenty of major talent, most notably topped off by Julia who of course is a 15+ year veteran showing no signs of any issues. It’s still just a bit concerning to see because I really don’t want to see a miru or Yuna Shiina just randomly disappear because of some agency issue (knock on wood). I know Yuuka’s new sns (https://x.com/newwife_yuuka) still lists her as a Madonna exclusive and I don’t see her wanting to quit, but it always gets me a little concerned. I just hope everything goes okay and I can stop hating on agencies.

I wasn’t really sure what was going to happen to Hikaru Miyanishi (宮西ひかる) when she left Idea Pocket. I mean, I didn’t really see all that much in her to think she would stay as popular as she has been. I guess if you do stuff like put her in a lesbian video with Rie Miyagi (宮城りえ) you can expect good things like we see here. Maybe this is just a good month for her but we definitely see her here and there and I’m sure we’ll see her again, especially if she keeps this kind of content up.

What a fantastic little film this looks like starring Rima Arai (新井リマ) and Rin Suzunoya (鈴の家りん). This video is a December release so it’s maybe only partially contributing but with the pair of them just three spots apart in the rankings it makes a lot of sense. And why wouldn’t people come back for this one, it looks like a really fun video of two part time workers competing over their coworker’s cock. It looks like the right kind of fun blend for a part time job film and I can get the hype.

By now I’m sure you’ve seen that Marina Yakuno (役野満里奈) has transferred to Oppai. Normally I would be quite upset with this as I think Idea Pocket is better than Oppai, but they did the one thing that would make me happy: give her a GES film! And maybe I would have been upset thinking the video would be bad because Marina’s performing isn’t quite there, but honestly she impressed me last year. She had one of the best releases of the whole year and she’s now getting the exact video I want to see. All I can say is that I am unusually excited for this.

You didn’t really think I would get through a whole sales report without calling on one of S1’s omega busty actresses did you? Ako Kimura (木村愛心) certainly seems to continue seeing success. Sure, it’s not Kanna Seto level, but I can understand when her assets are as divisive as they are. I say that only knowing they’re not for everyone because if you know me you know they’re exactly what I want. Those huge pepperoni areola always get me with how big and bold they are, they make it look like she’s just permanently pregnant. Every time I see content from her on social media it’s the same as this cover, barely containing the areola. And let’s face it, I won’t complain either because it’s hot. It’s nice to see her finally in a drama even if it’s going to be quite mediocre given the narrative, but hopefully this means we’ll get some real narratives going this year.

Am I the only one that hasn’t really been keeping up as much with veteran Madonna actresses? They keep adding names to their roster like Goh catches Pokemon. That’s where I wind up with Marina Shiraishi (白石茉莉奈) and Maki Hojo (北条麻妃). Don’t get me wrong, they’re great actresses that I still like, but I find myself not watching them nearly as much as I used to. And it’s not like I don’t like milfs anymore it’s just Madonna’s roster is so big and stacked that there’s always someone else to watch (like the several others on this page of Bookmate’s rankings alone). Very interesting to see who does and doesn’t hold on to top spots.

How have people been feeling about Shio Asami since she renamed to Kanon Hinano (ひなの花音) and swapped to Idea Pocket? I must admit I do like IP more than Faleno but Kanon isn’t exactly the kind of actress I’ve wanted on IP. Maybe I’m being a little harsh on her for her fake boobs, they’re not quite as off-putting as some of the fakes that I see on the market. Still, she’s doing decent for herself it seems and we’ll have to see if she does better at IP than she did at Faleno.
