Do JAV Actors/Actresses Actually Require Skill? Part 2

For obvious reasons, men are deemed as far less important in JAV productions. Women are the focal point since porn and JAV are mostly a male "hobby", but that doesn't mean that male actors aren't important - they're necessary for more reasons than one, but when it comes to actually carrying out the role of a male JAV actor, there are a variety of things that I believe they need to possess, and the first and most important one is physical strength and endurance.

Compared to women, I believe most men need a greater degree of physical strength and endurance. Men are typically the ones who lead the scene, so they will usually have to move around a lot more. They may pick up the woman and put her in positions that require good strength (like mid-air), or move her around in general, which can be very demanding considering human beings are heavy. When you consider that JAV productions require nonstop continuous sex and you can't just stop and rest (is the watcher going to watch you rest?), a lot more stamina is needed than most realize. Sure, some say that a lot of JAV have actors using fake dicks, but that makes things harder in some cases. Sitting there and thrusting in and out of a woman can be physically exhausting if you're not in good shape, but at least if the sex were real, you'd have the benefit of adrenaline keeping you from tiring out.

Being the male in a scene, it's only natural that ejaculation is a highly important part to the role that requires "skill" - but is it something that a man can "train" in the first place? Let's get the fake dicks thing out of the way first: yes, a lot of movies use fake dicks, so this unfortunately isn't even really a talking point for most films. Though, there are still SOME movies out there that do things for real, so it can still be an important factor in determining whether or not male actors need skill, just only for those specific JAV.

To a degree, men can have control over their ejaculations, so I would argue that there is indeed both skill and experience involved. First off, productions will likely have you abstain from ejaculation so as to better your release in the actual film, so this in itself is a life-style change that some might find hard to adjust to. Then there's the fact that when it comes to ejaculating, sometimes you just have duds where barely anything comes out - this can be controlled a little through fitness and diet, but sometimes it can't be controlled. Then there's also the skill involved in making sure the shot hits its target, which can be vital for a scene, more so due to the fact that (if this is real ejaculation) you literally only have one shot.

That leads into the next point well, as there is also a lot of pressure on the men in a JAV production. Like I said before, men typically lead the scene, so there's a lot of pressure on them for things to go right, especially with ejaculation due to the limitations there. With there possibly being large crews and multiple cameras, it can be a bit anxiety-inducing for those with little experience, and considering there might be very specific "choreography" to follow (do this, then that, etc.), it can sometimes be hard to carry things out in a way that are up to the standards of the director. Women are subjected to the same pressure, but I believe men are usually scrutinized harder due to them being the leading factor.

Obviously this is more important in JAV where talking and story are prevalent, as a standard JAV with disjointed sex scenes usually doesn't require acting. However, for productions that do need it, acting skills can still be vital. I realize most porn/JAV productions are known for having actors that CAN'T act, and as a result many tend to lean into it for a comedic angle, but acting is pretty necessary when it comes to selling a fetish or illusion.

Take the "fat bastard" trope: can an actor pull off the gross, sleazy, lecherous vibe of such a character? Can he speak in a harsh manner while also exuding dominance? There's a difference between an actor that can or cannot, and while their acting won't make or break a movie, good acting skills can easily enhance the final product (even if a male actor's acting isn't as important).
