Hibiki Otsuki Turns Exclusive After 17 Years In The JAV Biz!
Seventeen years & over two thousand JAV titles later, with innumerable studios, and co-stars, JAV royalty Hibiki Otsuki is finally exclusive!
And this viral scoop was made public on October 7, when the 37-year-old made an announcement on her X account:
“After 17 years of working as a freelance actress, I, Hibiki Otsuki, will officially become an exclusive actress starting from November 2025!! And the surprise is that this time I will be exclusive to two studios at the same time.”
"This is my first exclusive contract, so I was excited to tell all my beloved fans and I'm relieved that I can finally announce it"
I bet nobody saw this coming. Hibiki is exclusive to not one, but two studios!

As most of our readers might be aware by now, she became exclusive with Wanz Factory first. Hibiki’s first exclusive work, WAAA-581, is already set to hit shelves on November 4. While fans make all sorts of assumptions about her second studio, it is still shrouded in secrecy for the time being, but Hibiki promises it’ll be “a big surprise.” And knowing her, I believe it.
Now, for those who’ve followed her from the early days, this moment almost feels surreal. When she debuted nearly two decades ago, Hibiki reportedly aimed to star in just 100 JAVs. You could say that was a humble goal. But the years rolled on, the JAVs multiplied, and that number exploded twentyfold. Hibiki has become the face of versatility, switching between genres and studios quite smoothly.
"I'll be releasing two works per month! Even as an exclusive contract owner, I'll continue to try my hand at a variety of genres, just like before. I'll keep enjoying the shoots and do my best so that you all will love me to the fullest."
And yet, in her announcement, there was something heartfelt, even a little vulnerable.
“I used to think I’d stay freelance until retirement,” she admitted. “But slowly, I started feeling the urge to challenge myself again. Experience something new.”
For someone who’s long been associated with the face of freelancing in JAV, this shift is almost seismic. Hibiki’s decision to finally be tied to an agency suggests not a slowdown, but a new challenge in her career. In fact, she’s already promised fans that she’ll be releasing two works a month, an impressive pace for someone entering “exclusive” status.
And in true Hibiki fashion, she didn’t forget to calm the worried hearts of her fans as she mentioned
“Please don’t worry, signing an exclusive contract doesn’t mean I’m retiring!”
Good to know. Because we’re not ready to lose her just yet.
Still, I can’t help but wonder if this move might inspire others to follow suit. After all, Hibiki and Yui Hatano have long been dubbed the “power duo” of Japan’s adult scene, an inseparable duo both on and off screen..
Whatever the case, Hibiki Otsuki’s story proves that even after seventeen years, reinventing oneself is still possible, and if she could do it, most actresses are likely to follow suit,
This girl has no intentions of retiring, "I hope you'll support me! Oh, and don't worry, I didn't sign this exclusive contract in preparation for retirement, lol."
Now, all that’s left is to find out which mysterious studio has managed to secure her signature as part of the double exclusive deal as Hibiki teased, "Please look forward to the announcement of information about my other exclusive manufacturer"
Sora Amakawa's Latest Deal With JAV's Newest Agency Is Making Headlines
Excuse the delay, dear readers. I know it’s been a while since I dropped some juicy gossip, and I’ve exclusive scoop on JAV baddie Sora Amakawa, who debuted with S1 in 2019
I bet you guys didn’t expect her to be such rebellious. The S1 debutante who turned 27 this week has officially joined JAV’s newest agency STARTUP, alongside her longtime friend and collaborator Harumi Kyomoto.
“It’s my birthday today!” Sora wrote, with her usual soft-hearted tone. “If you’re celebrating with me, I’d love it if you gave me lots of likes! I have one more announcement to make... Once again, Harumi and I have officially joined STARTUP. I’m truly grateful to everyone who supported me through thick and thin, those who believed in my return and waited for me. I’ll continue to work in my own way, gently lighting a light in people’s hearts.”
So does this signal to her fans that Sora Amakawa is really making a coming back?

Well, to be honest, she never technically retired. I don’t recall a parting text from her calling for a final shoot as such. Sora was more of a free agent all this while, meaning she managed herself, without the backing of an AV agency.
That might sound liberating, but in a traditional sense, agencies are the gatekeepers. Without one, a JAV actress can’t easily book studio shoots, collabs, or distribution deals. So Sora was stuck in somewhat of a limbo.
That’s why her joining STARTUP is a big deal in terms of landing JAV gigs & building connections, which basically translates to: Sora Amakawa is officially back in business.
But that’s only half the story. Because, as always in the JAV industry, where there’s smoke, there’s always fire
AVプロダクション立ち上げました!
— STARTUP (@start_up0701) July 8, 2025
So how did this agency come into existence? Happens so that STARTUP, the agency now home to Sora and Harumi, appeared out of nowhere. Its official X account states that it was founded on July 1, 2025, and that it’s “looking for like-minded partners.” Yet a scroll down, and you’ll notice something odd: the account was actually registered in October 2022.
Which begs the question: a little early for a company that supposedly didn’t exist yet, don’t you think?
And hence curiosity got the better of me. A few quiet messages later, and the pieces started falling into place. Turns out, STARTUP was founded by former executives of the now-defunct AllPro agency, and we all know what happened to AllPro.
The agency had a messy collapse to say the least, which left some of its performers adrift and blacklisted by rival groups. Now the former executives have planned to start from scratch with STARTUP, and it seems it’s positioning itself to be an agency with familiar JAV faces.
The agency tweeted, "We aim to be an agency that will excite the users who support the AV industry, and we will produce in a way that will ensure that the actresses who join STARTUP will never regret their decision! We will do what only a new production company can do, so we hope you will support us!"
It’s no wonder, then, that Sora Amakawa, Harumi Kyomoto, Mahiru, and the retired-but-still-online Sakura Moeko all signed up. And that’s not all. As per my source, another mystery recruit is still under wraps, which brings the agency’s roster to five, currently.
As for when Sora will resume filming or drop her next gravure shoot? That’s for some other day.
Kanna Seto's YouTube Debut Has All The Elements Of A Chart Topper
FANZA’s consecutive chart topper is all set to take over the YouTube realms with her new endeavour. Yes, I’m talking about Kanna Seto.
S1’s top-selling actress discreetly dropped her first video on her brand-new channel, “Setokan Channel.” on October 17th at 9:00 PM, and since then she’d already racked up over 10,000 subscribers. Not bad for someone whose name is already synonymous with a regular appearance on FANZA’s top charts.
At first glance, it might look like just another side gig for a JAV actress trying to diversify, but it’s not. While her compatriots use YouTube for behind-the-scenes talk or fan Q&As, Kanna chose a niche most wouldn’t have thought of: makeup.
I did the heavy lifting, so you guys don’t have to. In her first clip, she takes us through an oddly satisfying routine of applying contour. The kind of content that makes you forget you’re watching someone apply primer because you’re too busy admiring how she moves
Kanna applies what she calls Eye Closet’s Clear Beige lenses and a touch of Laneige lip balm, swearing by both as her holy grail for healthy, camera-ready skin. But beneath the shimmer, there’s a sense of vulnerability, and that is evident when she casually mentions her liver condition, explaining why she prefers mild, moisturizing products that protect her skin without weighing it down. It’s personal, almost disarmingly so, like catching a glimpse of the real Kanna between takes.

Then there’s her technique to apply primer that takes the viewers through her charmingly specific and full of quirks, only a seasoned professional would know. She applies primer with her fingers, softly tapping it into the skin using Cure Cre Do Popo, before switching to a thicker puff for foundation. The thicker texture, she says, prevents makeup from sliding off too easily, crucial for long studio shoots under hot lights.
And when it comes to her T-zone and eyebrows? She switches gears entirely, using a lighter touch and a thinner sponge to avoid irritation. “I have bangs,” she laughs in the video, “so I have to be careful otherwise, everything melts!”
Of course, fans noticed the tools too, particularly her beloved Longiro diamond-shaped M6P sponge, which she swears by for a flawless blend. She even mentioned it on Instagram Live, praising its gentleness and precision.
It’s all very technical, but that’s the magic of it. You don’t need to understand every product name or brush number. It’s just that you’re so immersed in watching Kanna be herself, you forget about the rest.
And maybe that’s why her YouTube debut feels so refreshing. Beneath the ring lights and thumbnails, there’s something quietly authentic about seeing one of the JAV’s hottest actresses right now without the filters or scripts for a moment. She’s still every bit the perfectionist, still glowing under the lens, but this time, it’s her lens.
Fans, predictably, are in love. The comments are filled with heart emojis, makeup questions, and congratulations for her one-year anniversary in the industry. Some even speculate that this channel might be Kanna’s way of preparing for a more public-facing future, something beyond her JAV career, where she can still connect with her audience, but on her own terms.
And as her channel continues to grow gradually, one can’t help but wonder, is this the start of a new era for her?
For now, she says she just wants to “share what she loves.” But between us, I think Kanna’s got something big up her sleeves.
Ruru Haruno Just Took A Break And The Reason Will Shock You!
Ruru Haruno dropped an unexpected tea recently that caught her fans off guard. Yes, I’m talking about her sudden urge to take a break.
“It’ll be my one-year anniversary since my debut in one month! I’ll be having a release event on November 24th! Please keep that date free! Also, I’m currently on hiatus from JAV. But my releases will continue until next year, so please watch and support me! I’ll grow my social media presence at my own pace, and when I feel like it, I’ll come back!”
Her announcement might not seem like a big deal at first, but this kind of gentle phrasing often proves to be a nightmare for fans.
Ruru, who debuted under the stage name Natsuzora Rika under S1, switched her agencies by signing with the now-controversial Bambi Promotion, and since then, she has adopted the new stage name “Ruru Haruno.” After her exclusive contract ended with S1, she performed freelance gigs for a while. Everything seemed to be going smoothly for the 23-year-old until she decided to take a sudden break.
All of this seems suspicious until you start connecting the dots.

As our readers might be aware that Bambi Promotion has been making headlines lately after actress Aiga Mizuki accused it of embezzling pay and underreporting income. The controversy even prompted other performers like Eren Sora to step forward with eerily similar complaints.
And just like that, the pieces start to fall into place.
One of my trusted sources claims that while her public statements paint her hiatus as a voluntary breather, insiders hint otherwise. It was actually a trigger for salary disputes.
According to a source close to her team, much like Aiga, Ruru had started to question the agency’s accounting. “There were discrepancies she couldn’t ignore,” they said. “And once she raised concerns, things escalated fast.”
Sound familiar? It’s almost the same playbook that led to Aiga Mizuki’s public fallout with the agency.
However, Ruru seems to have taken a completely different stance and instead of airing her grievances online, she’s running her errands quite comfortably, holding fan events once a month, and testing the waters, "I'll continue to work hard on social media, and I'll hold an event once a month, so please keep supporting me!"
And her fans take it as they like, but Ruru has set the message straight: she hasn’t quit the industry, she’ll “come back when the time feels right.”
Now what remains to be seen is whether this “break” is truly temporary or ultimately comes disguised as an industry exit.
