Okay, so I recently bumped across the news that Eimi Fukada is selling everything!

Honestly, when I first read the headline, I assumed this would be another of her “decluttering” projects. You know, the usual luxury-cleanout content disguised as self-discovery that is trending these days.

For the unversed, this entire gossip wouldn’t have been possible if ABEMA’s new variety program “I Tried Selling All My Assets” didn’t exist. It’s basically a show centered around celebrities liquidating their prized possessions to begin a completely new chapter in life.

But the moment I read that Eimi would be the first featured guest, I knew this would become much more than a mainstream TV appearance.

Because Eimi has never really existed quietly online. With over 14 million followers across social media, she long ago stopped being viewed as “just” a former AV actress. At this point, she’s an influencer of sorts, a businesswoman, or even a meme, depending on which side of the internet you’re on.

To many of her colleagues, she became the ultimate post-AV success story.

During the episode, Eimi is slated to share her experiences with severe bullying during her growing-up years, her desperation to afford a cosmetic surgery, and, of course, the massive tax controversy that nearly swallowed her net worth after reports surfaced claiming Japan’s National Tax Agency hit her with an alleged 80 million yen back-tax assessment.

Honestly, that scandal did affect her image for a while. And yet somehow… she has overcome it.

But you’re not ready for what she revealed next. As per Eimi, a major turning point happened after encountering the underprivileged ones living in the slums of the Philippines. Combined with encouragement from someone close to her, that experience apparently gave birth to a personal ambition. She wants to create a cafeteria and school lunch support project in the Philippines.

And suddenly, you look at the donation in a very different light.

In the episode, Eimi is slated to sell her deeply personal belongings. From luxury bags, trophies, and expensive reminders of the glamorous career and image she spent years building.

She also happened to drop hints about her actual bank balance. And no, she didn’t say “I’m comfortable financially.” She dropped a number, actually. Funds, she says, she carefully saved little by little in hopes of eventually making this dream a reality. And maybe that’s why this entire project feels deeply emotional for her.

Not because she’s simply selling off her designer bags for charity, but because it almost feels like she’s trying to separate herself from the version of “Eimi Fukada” the internet created…

Some gossip sounds so uncomfortable that I almost avoid sharing it, but I thought this was something that our fans need to be aware of.

So there is this unreleased JAV actress who’s apparently named Yuka Shiramine.

And she happens to boast over 5k followers on her X, and it has only been a while since she opened her X account for her followers before launch.

Almost immediately, her very first tweet pulled in over 5k likes, and that was astounding because she hadn’t even debuted yet. And now, barely twenty days later, everything has collapsed for her. “It feels like it’s all over,” Yuka wrote.

According to her, she had already completed filming and promotional shoots for a major July debut. Meetings were supposedly scheduled. Promotions were already planned out, and from her perspective, her future already looked set in stone.

But things changed overnight.

She claims the agency president abruptly cut communication through LINE.“They told me they can’t promote me anymore.”

And she was quite startled by this whole incident, not knowing how to process it. “I honestly don’t understand what’s happening,” she admitted.

And as she continued, a darker side of this whole incident came out.

According to Yuka, the problem allegedly stemmed from disputes between her agency president and the studio handling her debut. She described the president as someone she trusted “like a motherly figure,” but behind the scenes, negotiations over exclusive contract fees apparently became aggressive enough to derail everything entirely.

And according to her, the fallout was devastating. She says the exclusive contract itself was terminated right there, potentially destroying the debut she had “staked her life on.”

And for someone who had emotionally and physically sacrificed themselves for something that might never even get released, it might’ve been really devastating.

What makes it even more disappointing is the way she talked about trust. “Because she was a female president, I believed she understood my feelings better than anyone.”

And now suddenly, she’s left wondering whether any of it was actually for her benefit at all.

I don’t even want to get started on the practical consequences of it, which makes it sound even nastier.

If she leaves the agency, she may lose the housing they currently provide. She says she was promised future income after debuting, but if the contract really has collapsed, that entire future may disappear overnight. “From talking about my dream debut to hitting rock bottom instantly,” a distraught Yuka wrote.

Not only that, she even worried about losing access to her X account. Mentioned possibly canceling her verification badge if savings became tight. Repeatedly thanked followers for becoming “the only light in this completely dark world.”

And fans reacted immediately. “It’s cruel to destroy proof of all her hard work.”

“Can another agency still release the filmed material?” wrote another.

Honestly, that last question is probably the one hanging over this entire story right now.

Because, according to Yuika herself, the work already exists. And that may be the cruelest part of all. The possibility that a debut everyone was preparing to witness… could disappear before it even officially begins.
