Azusa Uemura - Perfection over the Tatami

There's no way to sugarcoat it:  AZUSA UEMURA is an absolute class A babe.  From top to bottom, this is the kind of woman whom if sauntered into a JAV agency office on any random Tuesday would be met with radio silence due to all the employees just staring at her in awe (assuming she was naked or close to it!).  That she had such a short career was a tragedy.  That on the way out she filmed a few uncensored releases was a blessing.  But does the latter--pixel-free engagements of questionable production quality outweigh the mainstream career that could have been?

It depends.

PERFECTION OVER THE TATAMI shows AZUSA portraying the girlfriend of a camera-wielding actor/director.  It's one of 'those' movies.  Yes, entirely self-shot with no stage-hand in sight.  This one fortunately breaks the mold some with DREAMROOM adding a creative element in the form of a virtual date leading up to the romantic encounter over the title's namesake.  Let me tell you:  sex on a tatami floor may scream JAPAN but it's far from an enjoyable experience.  A bed or even a thin futon would have drastically increased the pleasure but in spite of their choice to enact coitus, we get a great performance.

I don't really know much about AZUSA UEMURA and her performance here does not help much.  Yes, she played the girlfriend in a movie featuring a mute actor with the camera always on her, but still was far from talkative.  This sadly does not compare to YUI HATANO's time with a similar theme.  Even then, she was still an experienced actress versus the lightweight career of the star of today's update.

Like nearly all movies released from this uncensored JAV studio, what we get here is the real deal:  raw with a real creampie finish.  A perfect way to shoot JAV.  Mind you, even in these amateur releases, testing is still paramount.  If anything, you'd think mainstream JAV would mimic this and its western counterparts but that goes well beyond the review for this short, but very pleasing to the eyes movie.
