Please note what is shown in this wildly comedic JAV movie is neither Buddhism, Shinto, or any other established religion.  It's JAV going head to head with 'weird Japan' and does so with gusto.  Take two somewhat out of place actresses who probably went into this shoot knowing little more than it would be a half day shooting of a foursome and surprise them with two familiar face actors masquerading as monks eager to lead them through a heterodox religious ceremony involving prayer, stretching, stripping, donning unusual attire (soon dropped for full nudity), and of course lots of raw sex.

What we get in JAPANESE MONK RITUAL OF GROUP SEX is weirdness cranked to 11 with the perfect amount of camp thrown in.  ANNA KIRISHIMA, while a bit too skinny for my tastes nails her role and vastly enhanced my appreciation of this multi-talented actress and KANA SUZUKI keeps on delivering the goods.  Neither did much outside uncensored work and as we are too aware, most JAV movies filmed sans mosaic are lower budget affairs.  Thus, seeing all the bells and whistles being used to full effectiveness in MONK RITUAL is a blessing...no pun intended.

A movie chock full of great visuals, but dialog as well.  Truly, a release where comprehension (or subtitles) is a must if you want to take it all in.  Dango and his partner whose stage name eludes me play the perfect perverted monks.  You'd think with Dango on set it would be an anal movie (for some reason, he seems to be the industry's go-to anal guy), but actual penetration that rounds this release out remains mostly traditional.

What minor issues exist are mostly that:  minor.  While two actresses are employed, we only get one creampie.  Odd, given KANA receiving them in the past, but more likely less a "I don't want to be cummed in today" issue and more related to cash.  I won't even hold that back too much.  From lighting to sound to the situation itself, this is great JAV and unique JAV.  It's funny, culturally relevant (to some extent), and doubles the average number of women in a movie.
