Mei Washio Ends Long Standing TIES With Her Agency

Catch up on the most trending gossip that we had our eyes on in November

Guys, do you recall when I brought to light the situation surrounding Mei Washio and her agency EIGHTMAN? I had previously reported that her name had disappeared from the agency’s website, and she even pulled down her social accounts, while her own stories suggested that she felt her hard work wasn’t being properly appreciated.

Mei, at that time, said she would think carefully about her future after completing her remaining JAV releases. Seems like we know what her next move is!

Mei Washio has made it official that she will be leaving So Model Agency after wrapping up her work schedule next week.

According to the J-cup baddie, she wants to speak directly to her fans rather than have someone else announce her next move on her behalf. Naturally, her die-hard fans may be worried that this announcement means retirement. But remember, Mei has previously emphasized that she never said she intended to leave the JAV industry.

So for those concerned fans, let's not jump to conclusions just yet.

In fact, I think there's plenty of reason to believe she'll continue working. Considering her appearance, experience, and history with major studios such as S1, it's not difficult to imagine other agencies taking an interest in her, and it’s about time she lands a new agency deal!

From Jun Kakei to Mei Washio, her journey has involved some significant changes along the way. She once changed agencies because she admired Aoi Tsukasa, and now she's making another big decision: leaving her current agency on her own.

When announcing her departure, Mei shared a photograph and wrote that she hoped fans would remember her as someone happy. She also expressed gratitude to everyone who had supported her, whether they knew her professionally as Mei Washio or had followed her for other reasons.

She said she was thankful that people had continued to cherish and value her throughout this journey.

Although it was strange, Mei admitted that she didn't quite know why, but she felt like crying. Honestly, after everything that's happened, I can understand why this moment would be emotional. Leaving an agency isn't simply changing the name attached to your profile. There are relationships, experiences, and memories involved, too.

I genuinely hope Mei finds a new agency that makes her feel appreciated and gives her the opportunities she wants. After all, she deserves to continue her career in an environment where she feels valued.
