Last month, Akari Nonoka just announced that she is about to leave the JAV industry. And unlike certain actresses in the past who have announced their retirement months in advance and gradually said goodbye to their fans, Akari, on the other hand, appears to have made an immediate exit!

That meant October 25 was reportedly the final day of her career as a JAV pornstar.

For the unversed, she debuted with Kawaii* in 2022, and over the past four years, she has worked as a freelance actress across various studios. In her retirement message, she described those years as a treasure she would carry close to her heart. Moreover, Akari admitted that quitting wasn’t easy. But after thinking it through carefully, she decided to face this next chapter positively rather than look back with regret.

And when fans were least expecting it, she dropped another surprise. October 26 was apparently the release date of her retirement film!

But wait a minute. What JAV was she even referring to? Akari didn’t clearly identify this, but she still has another release scheduled for November. So is that November JAV porn actually her retirement film?

If I had to guess, one possible candidate would be the First Star production with the rather unmistakable title Exclusive to Actresses Who Love Raw Sex. It seems to fit some of the clues, but there’s a problem: it isn’t even scheduled for October.

So, for now, I wouldn’t jump to conclusions.

Her social-media updates became noticeably less frequent. At first, I assumed she was simply recovering from the exhaustion of the event. I certainly wasn’t expecting a retirement announcement so soon afterward. Fortunately, there is one thing worth celebrating: she managed to attend TRE before stepping away.

Even if she wasn’t among the event’s featured headliners, she still had the opportunity to meet overseas fans face-to-face something she had apparently been looking forward to and honestly, I’m glad she got that chance.

Four years can pass surprisingly quickly, especially in this industry. I hope she can look back on those years with pride.
