Yua Mikami FIRES Back At Trolls Over Obscene Remarks On Her YouTube Video
Yua Mikami and controversies go hand in hand. It’s as if she is synonymous with the word itself.
And as is usual, this time around, too, she found herself amidst one. It started with something surprisingly harmless… handbags.
In a recent YouTube video, Yua chose to give her fans a sneak peek inside her rather enviable bag collection. The collection itself accounted for over 25 bags!
And as is inevitable, any bag connoisseur would have in their collection… a Hermès Birkin.
For the unversed, the Hermes Birkin isn’t just a handbag; it’s a status symbol of sorts, often costing millions of yen depending on the model. Yua casually showcased several of them as she chatted with viewers, making it clear she had built quite the collection over the years.
But of course, the trolls couldn’t let a moment pass without trolling. An anonymous commenter decided to take a dig at her line of work,
“Even if she brags about stuff bought with what she earned, showing her own naked body… anyone could buy that if they did that kind of work.”
Ouch.
Now, if you’ve followed Yua’s career even briefly, you know that she’s not the kind to let things pass. When you’ve spent years facing backlash, you tend to grow a thick skin and hit back.
And man did she hit back! “In any profession, only a handful of people can consistently produce results, and even fewer can sustain them,” Yua fired back. “I wonder what era we’re in when it’s said that anyone can make so by getting naked.”
She didn’t stop there. “I think that people at the top of their game have always worked hard in whatever job they do,” she continued. “You’re free to criticize my profession, but actually producing results consistently is not easy in any job!”
Classic Yua, showing the troll his place.
Many industry colleagues chipped in, like Yuko Shiraki, bashing the misconception that simply getting naked could get you a bag that nearly costs a fortune.

Even S1’s latest debutante was quick to jump in to defend her idol.
Iroha is one of the most heavily promoted newcomers in JAV right now. She backed Yua by mentioning her on Instagram Stories and shared a photo of Yua cheerleading at an event in Taiwan, clearly a moment she admired.
Alongside the image, Ayaka praised Yua Mikami, calling her “an amazing senpai” and promising to work hard herself.

When I saw that post, two thoughts immediately crossed my mind. First, Ayaka must be a genuine fan of Yua, because you don’t casually dig up someone’s Taiwan cheerleading photos unless you’ve been following them closely.
And second? The timing is painfully ironic.
You see, Ayaka Iroha herself had just stepped into the adult industry after years of hustling through gravure shoots. Yet the moment Ayaka’s AV debut was announced, the same criticism surfaced online, the familiar jab that actresses in this industry are simply “taking their clothes off to make a fortune.”
For a newcomer who had finally secured an exclusive contract with one of JAV’s top studios, the reaction wasn’t really something that was called for. Iroha might’ve found herself facing the same brunt as Yua Mikami.
So perhaps Ayaka’s message wasn’t just admiration. Perhaps it was solidarity on her part.
Alice Nanase's Indefinite Break Raises Concerns Over Her Mental Health Following Fraudulent Episode
You know, this is the kind of news that casually hits you like a punch while you’re sipping your morning coffee.
Alice Nanase, who doesn’t need an introduction, has suddenly decided to step away from filming JAVs. Yes, rumors of her taking a break have finally come true!
On March 5, her fans were hit with a cold-ass tweet that Alice had made via X that instantly sent her fanbase into overdrive. “Actually, starting today, I’m taking an indefinite hiatus from AV filming!”
Now, if you’ve followed this industry long enough, as I have, you know those words tend to trigger a very specific kind of emotion. Hiatuses aren’t often welcomed with open arms. But I’m glad Alice was quick to calm the storm before it could spiral.
“This isn’t retirement,” she reassured her followers almost immediately. “I’ll keep active on social media and at events, so I’ll still see everyone plenty.”
実は今日から、AV撮影の無期限休業に入ります!

So let’s be clear, Alice isn’t quitting anytime soon; she chose to hang in there. Still, the timing is what really raised eyebrows.
After all, Alice just switched agencies recently, and she has a lot going on in terms of settling in with a new management, new promotions, and new releases. Instead, we got an indefinite pause.
Naturally, fans began asking questions. And Alice, thankfully, didn’t dodge them.
“I know some of you might be disappointed or worried since I just transferred to a new agency,” she wrote candidly, “but for me, this is a really positive decision.”
A positive decision… but one that she’s not quite ready to fully explain just yet.
When pressed by a fan about how long her already-filmed JAVs would continue to be released, Alice offered a small clue about the timeline. According to her, new releases are scheduled to run until October. In other words, while she’s stepping away from filming now, audiences will still be able to grab JAVs still in the pipeline.
And if you’re hoping for the full story behind the sudden pause, you’ll have to wait a little longer.
“I’ll share the full story later on YouTube,” she teased, adding that she plans to talk about it alongside reflections from her upcoming photo exhibition event.
A YouTube tell-all? Interesting.
If you’ve followed this hottie enough, you know Alice is no stranger to headlines. Last year, she found herself right in the middle of a rather messy controversy involving fellow JAV actress Konan Koyoi. Alice publicly alleged that Konan and her partner, rumored to be her husband, had sold merchandise using Alice’s worn personal items and allegedly pocketed the profits without paying her a single yen.
The accusations set JAV Twitter in overdrive for weeks and left fans divided about what really happened behind the scenes.
I hope this drama has nothing to do with her current hiatus.
For a bit of perspective, Alice’s career itself has been something of a whirlwind. She first debuted with IdeaPocket in September 2020, under the JAV code IPIT-005, quickly gaining attention for her energetic screen presence. Over the years, she’s hopped from several studios before most recently becoming exclusive with Moodyz, a shift that many assumed would be the start to a smooth flow of releases from her.
Instead, we’re now looking at a pause.
For now, Alice is keeping the full explanation tucked away until that promised YouTube reveal. But it’d be interesting to hear her reasoning behind the break.
Meanwhile, grab her latest JAV with Tameike Goro here.
