It’s strange how Yuu Shinoda keeps popping up on my feed. This time, it happened in our ZENRA group chat and made me pause for a second.

So, apparently, it turns out that a scoop shared by a Japanese influencer on X who goes by the name Mysteria had published a sensational story involving a renowned MMA fighter, Genji Ueno, who, according to the post, allegedly was caught having an affair, which supposedly led to a divorce and financial settlement before he disappeared from the limelight

You might be thinking, what’s the big deal? Or how does it link to Yuu Shinoda, you must be wondering?

Apparently, it's Yuu Shinoda. The actress at the center of this rumor, but that wasn’t even the most eye-catching part. The post also claimed that Yuu might be pregnant after all!

Well, that certainly explains why this gossip gained clout. At the time of writing, the tweet had reportedly attracted nearly seven million impressions. That’s an enormous amount of attention for a story that raises one very important question: Where’s the evidence?

I spent some time looking into it, but the original tweet didn’t clearly identify its source. Online users reporting the tweet suggested that the information might have come from Ueno’s wife, but I couldn’t find a corresponding post or tweet from her to support that claim.

So, at this point, we have a rumor that has gone viral on X, but no clearly identified source and no confirmation from the people involved yet. Of course, one specific detail has sparked curiosity. The MMA fighter involved does appear to have gone quiet online. His X account has reportedly been deleted, his latest Instagram post dates back to July, and his YouTube channel hasn’t been updated for around three months. That’s certainly unusual enough to make people wonder what’s going on.

But let’s consider this. A disappearance from social media doesn’t automatically prove an affair, a divorce, or anything else being claimed about a person’s private life. Without reliable evidence, these are just rumors at the end of the day.

Still, I can fathom why the story spread so quickly. On one side, you have a renowned fighter who has seemingly disappeared from the limelight. On the other, you have Yuu Shinoda, and anything regarding her is bound to be a headline, even if it's just a rumor at the end of the day.

Put those two names together with an explosive allegation, and of course the tweet is getting clicks.

For now, I wouldn’t treat this story as confirmed. The claims about an affair, a settlement, and a possible pregnancy all need credible supporting evidence before they can be taken seriously.
