Pan Takes - May 2025 Vol 1 - Hikaru Nagi, Mina Kitano and Yu Tano

May proved to be a pretty great month regarding new JAV releases. In fact, I think there are several best-of-the-year candidates here. One in particular has Yu Tano as your girlfriend's younger sister which just writes itself. Or Alice Otsu as a dominant prison guard. Not everything is a complete winner but there are definitely more hits than misses. As always, I'll fully review each film before capping it off with a final score at the end.

That's a pretty eye-catching cover right there and even better is that the film actually delivers on it, making for one of her best films ever. The premise is right up her alley casting Mina as a lewd landlady working at a bar who offers up "full body lip service" to her lucky customers. This involves both inhaling dicks and riding them to give the guys a complete experience. This is a genius fit for Mina given her outwardly slutty persona that is on full display here. No one can match Mina in this area. She exudes such a natural, raw sexual energy that is portrayed excellently through her lively facial expressions and incredible energy. I particularly love her blowjobs and how she will suck the guy's dick all the way down to the base will making eyecontact. She completely knocks it out of the park and delivers one of the best performances of the year.

Another major positive here is the action consisting of three sex scenes with one being a threesome and another a group sex scene alongside two blowjob scenes. I loved how they spiced up the two BJ scenes such as adding a risk element in the second one with her sucking the guy off in the bathroom while his girlfriend is right outside. And the other one is shot in POV, enhancing the engagement. All the sex scenes are fantastic too with the highlight being the gangbang at the end. The position variety can be a tad limited though thanks to the setting. That's one of my only complaints with the film is that the bar setting can get a little repetitive after a while. However, all the scenes are very well lit and the array of outfits is superb. Her wardrobe is super slutty making for some stellar eyecandy. FPRE-170 is really in a class of its own. Mina's slutty persona is showcased brilliantly here alongside a great plot and amazing action making for a must watch.

Another month and another new Noa Haruna release courtesy of Boinbb. I've always equated these releases to something like junk food. You know what to expect every time and it mostly always delivers a decent experience. The premise casts her into several different sex worker roles such as having her play a masseuse, soapland girl, hostess, and dominatrix to name a few. The variety here is terrific but also leads to some minor frustration when a particularly appealing setup doesn't lead much to anything. One example is the dominatrix scene. It would've been great to see her have sex in a commanding fashion but instead it just amounts to a mediocre blowjob scene.

As I mentioned earlier, the action's variety overall is quite nice. It features two and a half sex scenes, two handjob scenes, a blowjob scene, and a paizuri scene. As always with this label most of the cumshots are fake sadly which takes away a lot of the satisfaction sadly. It's also mildly disappointing that one of the sex scenes uses the soapland setup, which I'm not a fan of personally. It's not too bad at least and overall Noa delivers a decent enough performance. The production values also fare about the same. The range of outfits and settings is nice though but the lighting can be hit-or-miss at times. BOBB-434 is ultimately another fine entry from this label. Nothing here will blow you away but it offers up just enough to whet your appetite.

Yuria Yoshine and doujinshi adaptations go hand in hand. There seems to be at least one every month. Here we are again with another that boasts a pretty interesting setup. It casts Yuria as a voluptuous female taxi driver who has recently gained notoriety on social media due to a recent trend. Any customers who utter a secret phrase will be "rewarded" with an extra bonus, so to speak. The male protagonist here does so and she takes him back to a hotel room for some fun. I enjoyed this unique premise as it fits Yuria pretty well, both physically and as a performer. The film also greatly fleshes out the plot by adding several new scenes. The original manga was just one scene but here we're treated to four in all. Even better is that three of those take place inside the taxi cab as opposed to elsewhere. That always felt like a missed opportunity with the doujin so it's a welcome change.

Those scenes overall consist of two sex scenes, a handjob scene, and a paizuri scene. Honestly, I don't have much to criticize here. The position variety across the board is great even within the confined space of the taxi cab's backseat and we even get real cumshots which is often a rarity with douijinshi adaptations. Her performance is another bright spot as she's quite flirty and seductive which really helps to sell the plot. She can be a tad too submissive at times during the sex but otherwise, she's terrific. I also wanna credit the production values here. The lighting in general is superb and Yuria herself looks amazing. Not only is her hair/makeup on point but her cab driver uniform is subtly sexy too. The pacing is a tad unbalanced though with the first sex scene taking nearly an hour of the runtime. Yuria's doujinshi works can often be hit or miss with mixed execution. This one however is a hit. It takes a simple manga and fleshes it out into a fun and entertaining watch.

Now this is a damn fine cover. This will definitely grab your attention. It's just a shame that the film itself is so mid. Part of that is due to the plot or lack thereof. It's a very straightforward theme that just centers around Hikaru and the actor having sex in a love hotel room. There's no film crew whatsoever as it attempts to give the viewer a more private viewing experience. To compound this, you'll also be treated to some shots of the pair going out together on a date. I get what the film is going for and I'm sure some will enjoy it but I am not one of those people. This setup is just extremely bland and gets repetitive. This is evident through the lackluster production values. Each scene takes place in the exact same setting obviously although we do get a scene in the bathroom at least so that's something I guess. Even beyond that, my biggest issue is with the camerawork. Since there's no dedicated camera guy and the actor is in charge of handling it all, it's a very mixed bag.

Many shots here are perfectly fine while others will leave you feeling unsatisfied. He resorts to setting the camera down for static shots that sometimes are just not great. Like when Hikaru is getting fucked standing up and we see it from about 10 feet away. If we had a camera guy, we could get up close from many different angles instead. It's frustrating. Also it's a bit annoying that she keeps her bra on for two of the sex scenes as it ends up partially obscuring her tits. Now I will say that her performance isn't awful as she's able to just be herself here which is a nice change. The action is solid too consisting of four sex scenes in all. The intensity can be a little light at times but overall, it's quite solid. I especially appreciated that all the cumshots appear to be real. The end result is a fine watch but nothing more. This setup just is not my cup of tea at all but it does provide some enjoyable action at least and a decent performance from Hikaru.

Ever since Alice upgraded her tits I've been craving her new releases. This one seemed pretty tantalizing at the start, especially with that nice cover. Does it live up to it? Well, not entirely sadly. It's an extremely vanilla setup that centers around Alice having sex with a few guys inside a love hotel room with an emphasis on squirting. I'm normally not a huge fan of bland setups like this but if the execution is good, I can live with it. However, the execution here is a mixed bag. The biggest issue that I have with the film is the wardrobe. Unfortunately, she's only nude for about 40% of the runtime. The other 60% has her clothed in some fashion which I usually don't hate. But when you have an actress with a brand new set of tits and they're concealed for majority of the film, what are you doing?

The lingerie piece at the end isn't horrible at least and the lighting is generally solid if not a tad repetitive. The camerawork is good too and I liked the shots where she sprays the camera while squirting. Speaking of which, let's talk about the action next. It features two sex scenes and two blowjob scenes. The blowjob scenes have some nice moments but it's a bummer that the cumshots appear to be fake. In fact, none of them are real sadly. The two sex scenes are solid though utilizing a nice range of positions and some trademark Alice squirting. Her performance is pretty good too as always. She doesn't quite hit the peaks of some of her other works but still does a good job overall with terrific spunky energy. The end result here is mildly frustrating. The action itself is decent and features some signature Alice goodness. However, the fact that she spends so much time with her tits covered up is a puzzling decision that really brings down the overall satisfaction.

When it was first revealed, this was easily one of my most anticipated new releases of the month. On paper, it sounded like the perfect setup for Yu Tano. Turns out, I was right, as it ends up being one of her best films to date. The plot is exactly as it sounds with Yu playing your girlfriend's busty sister who loves to tease you by flaunting her huge tits. This ultimately leads to her having sex with you while trying to keep it a secret from her sister/your girlfriend. Yu Tano is such a spot-on pick for this role given not just her obviously massive chest but also her naturally bubbly personality. She gives off such a warm, inviting aura that is impossible to resist. Her facial expressions are top-notch too which goes a long way in creating a more engaging experience in POV. Speaking of that, let's talk about the production values next. As I said, the entire film is shot in POV and it does a mostly great job of maintaining that immersion.

There are a few angles here and there though that break that but overall it's pretty good. The lighting is another bright spot(no pun intended) as the film goes for a softer feel that complements her quite nicely. The settings are decently varied too and the pacing is evenly balanced across every scene. This leads me to the action. It features three sex scenes, a handjob scene, and a paizuri scene. I greatly appreciated that every scene features a seemingly real cumshot and the risk element helps to spice up a few of the scenes such as the first sex scene where she rides you while the girlfriend is nearby in the kitchen. My one minor negative is that the doggystyle position in POV with her doesn't look great. She doesn't have much of an ass so there's very little see from back there with just the one angle. It's a small nitpick in the grand scheme of things as this turns out to be my favorite Yu Tano film for sure. Fantastic setup, bubbly and engaging performance with amazing action to boot.

This premise sounded great on paper and thankfully it delivers, for the most part. The premise casts the duo as a pair of prison guards who are trying to rehabilitate the prisoners who seem to suffer from abnormal sexual desires. I could be off on this so don't take my explanation as facts. It's a pretty entertaining setup and one that invokes the vibes of older wackier films from JAV past. It's very refreshing to see. Alice also happens to be a perfect fit for this role too as she can quite easily turn from cold and demeaning to nympho in a flash. I love all the teasing too such as in the last sex scene when she and Yukine take turns riding him over and over in quick succession. Or when she's going to town on a guy with a strap-on. Speaking of which, let's dive into the action. It consists of a facesitting handjob scene, a brief sex scene where Alice fucks a guy through the jail cell bars, the aformentioned strap-on scene, and a full threesome sex scene at the end.

There's also some setup fluff scattered around here and there to set the tone such as in the beginning when they have the guys line up in the hallway and jerk off into a tray while Alice berates them. Now I will say the first hour of the film or so is a bit dry as it's not the most action-packed. The facesitting handjob scene drags on for a little too long but I do like the CFNM aspect to it as it ties into the overall theme very well. The last scene though is amazing and is easily the main highlight of the film. The production values overall are solid too with an authentic setting featuring a nice variety of rooms and lighting. And those prison guard outfits are super sexy. My only other critique is that I'm not a fan of Yukine at all sadly. I wish her co-star could've been someone like Mizuki. An actress that she's had proven chemistry with and can excel in femdom roles. Besides that and the so-so action, this was a really fun watch. Definitely give this a watch if you enjoy femdom oriented themes.
