Those mad lads have done it again. JAV just seems to love to court controversy as they parody the two viral figures from the most recent Olympics, and thankfully, I’m not talking about Raygun. The sharpshooters from South Korea and Turkey make their JAV debut, as does Jun Karina. Interesting choice giving this type of video to a rookie, but my pet theory is that it’s because more established actresses don’t want the potential negative press. These real-life imitations usually don’t last long, and I wouldn’t be too surprised if this gets delisted from FANZA soon.

The video parodies the Olympic pair in the first scene and is pretty true to the source material, and plays with the scene about as you’d think. Seeing her try to aim while he fingers her, is exactly the type of porn you want and expect. Then it moves onto a pair of military-themed scenes, but the real fun is in the first scene. So much that I’d rather they stuck with that. As far as debuts go, Jun was interesting. She has some sharp facial features, which did make her a good lookalike for the Korean Olympian. She was also flat as a board with a skinny figure and performed quite nicely. Not sure if it sold me on her, but this was a fun debut video for sure.

Akari Mitani has bowed out of JAV but not before leaving fans with a sweet farewell tour. Part of that tour has been with her bestie in the biz, Aika Yamagishi. It’s been so great seeing these two team up for more and more videos, and just as the buzzer rings. The Wanz bang van is brought out for the duo Gishitani as they pick up “amateur” men on the streets. And for a title like this, their chemistry and friendship are perfectly needed. Aika and Akari are so fun as they joke and play with each other and the men. The besties also like to get it on with each other. This is how collabs between stars should be.

Speaking of how to do a collab, this SOD team up has so much going for it. It stars Yotsuha Kominato, and they made the interesting decision to pair her up with veteran actress Kanna Misaki rather than some big-name actress. A great choice because Kanna is a lesbian specialist, and yes, she uses that specialty on Yotsuha. The story is about Yotsuha and her husband’s bedroom death, who then decide to spice things up by coupling up with Kanna and her husband.

We see their steady descent into their carnal desires as Yotsuha’s sexual desire is reignited as she has sex with Kanna and her husband. What starts off as NTR turns into a full-on couple swapping and four-way bang fest. NTR to mutual couple swapping is so rare in JAV, and it lends itself so naturally, I don’t know why we don’t see more of it. It’s a fantastic if straight forward setup with hot sex and exactly what you want to see from a big maker like SOD. One of the best Cheating/NTR films I’ve seen this year.

We say goodbye to Nana Maeno, an under-sung actress who was always flirting with mid-tier studios throughout her 5 year career. A lover of BDSM, especially the bondage part, in or outside of JAV. Very flexible and sports one heck of an ass. She bows out with a truly interesting retirement video. A strange, highbrow, and personal video shot in Black and White in parts. Which also serves as a metaphor for Nana’s difficult freelance career.

What does it mean in action? A series of disparate sex scenes that work as a journey through her career. All very high minded but makes for some great smut especially the bathtub deepthroating. It’s strange, tender, and different from most videos and retirements. The genuinely heartfelt aim of the film to serve as a tribute to all the underappreciated Freelance actresses, not just Nana, is a sweet message I can get behind.

We say goodbye to one leaving and hello again to a familiar face with Jun Suehiro. Jun is back after her scandalous relationship with a professional baseball player was exposed. I’m not making this stuff up, people. Jun comes back as seamless as a hand in a glove. She’s slimmed down a bit and that ass isn’t as mighty as it once was. Fans are clamoring for this next newbie from SOD’s employee pool. The “real life” employee from SOD is plucked from their offices to star in their porn. It’s total hogwash and a well-worn premise with SOD. Their real life employee turned pornstar is a series they do regularly and who doesn’t like the idea of some regular employee for a porn maker that starts doing porn? It’s scandalous, salacious, juicy. And with Moriya Yoshino, SOD took it to another level. Creating an online footprint for her that dates back half a year before they dropped her first video. This effort seems to have tricked several fans, and Moriya is suddenly one of the hot new topics among debuts this year.

And as debuts go, I’m starting to see why SOD put the effort in for Moriya. She is cutie with a nice body, but most importantly, she fits the Office Lady image to a T. A somewhat older lady with plain looks who gets down and dirty, as her performance was pretty good. They might be tricking fans into watching her, but she might be the real deal.

A lot has been made about rookie superstar Kanna Seto this year, but there has been another red hot rookie that has been somewhat eclipsed by Seto-mania. Madonna found a gem with Iyo Shinohara late last year, and she’s proving to be one of the best new talents they’ve found since Kanna Fuji and Ryo Ayumi. The cute faced Milf is a fantastic performer with a banging body and those tits.

Great tits with phenomenally thick nipples. She also lactates which might be why her tits and nipples look so great. She has a somewhat youthful face that makes you doubt her Milf credentials but after seeing her lactate you go “Yeah she belongs at Madonna”. Milking, you can see plenty of in this Cheating wife plot. While the plot is as old as porn. Iyo performs finely in it as she is so expressive with her face and those big eyes. Madonna has their own super rookie and her name is Iyo Shinohara.

Saika Kawakita plays her role straight in so many films. So, when she takes a turn on the darker side, it’s a sight to see. She plays an off-kilter librarian whom one patron has a little crush on. Only he finds out that she is far more twisted than her quiet demeanor suggests. She takes him on a lewd journey as she reveals her mean side with demeaning dirty talk, physical play, and inner femdom.

Saika doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in her body, so her mean girl isn’t the meanest or the most convincing. It was, however, weird as hell. Saika was so cold, strange, and off-kilter as the librarian with the hidden dom side. Real sociopath vibes, which the video supported with its editing and close-up framing.

And I have to say, all that made the even hotter. Psycho Saika just hit differently. It was hot seeing her coldly suck him off in the bathroom while making constant eye contact or making him kneel down on the train while she smothers her feet into his face. Like salt and watermelon, Mean and Saika wasn’t a combination I think would work, but it turned out to be a must watch.

MUST WATCH

Our Gal train continues from part 1 with Alice Otsu and this adaptation about a kunoichi who delivers erotic punishments to the wicked. First order of business, Alice’s new boobs. She’s always had a decent set of fakes, but she’s upgraded into a pair of plumps as hell, sweater puppies. Big fan of her new thick tits. Second order of business, the body double. Kunoichi Alice uses her power of duplication to subdue her targets. So, with some camera trickery, editing, and, who we believe to be Yumi Shion, there’s double the Alice.

Overall, a pretty fun adaptation with Alice playing the spunky kunoichi adorably. Wigs are usually hit or miss, but I thought the blonde wig they gave her fit the normally blonde Alice. Her performing is great as always and not super over the top. The body double trick is novel and a treat to see in action. My only gripe with the video is how short it is and how there’s really only two scenes. Still a very enjoyable doujin adaptation with a novel gimmick.

We finish off with Suzu Honjo at the hot springs. A very straightforward Hot springs video where Suzu plays the hostess who serves all her patrons with her body. It’s also an absolutely gorgeous movie. The hazy lighting in the bath scenes, the backlighting during the kimono scene, and the framing of some of the scenes. It’s all a visual feast and totally what I like about JAV.

Their high quality productions and studio lighting trump all that low budget, shot from a smartphone amateur porn we see so often now. This was directed by Hiroyuki Kimura, whom I’ve written about recently. They make some jarring camera decisions sometimes, which we see here too, but know how to make gorgeous-looking smut. Absolutely cinema and perfect for a showstopper like Suzu.
