Sumire Mizukawa WRAPS UP Filming Her Final JAV, But More Exclusive Content Expected Soon

This might come as a surprise, but Sumire Mizukawa has finished filming her retirement video! Yes, I know we haven’t given her a mention in a while, but it seems like her decade-long JAV career seems to be wrapped up.

In a tweet that caught me off guard, Sumire revealed that she has already filmed her retirement JAV. Along with the announcement, she shared a few behind-the-scenes photos on X, giving fans a glimpse into how the final shoot unfolded.

Now, if you look closely, it’d be hard to miss her co-star for the final JAV.

Sumire filmed alongside veteran male actor Daisuke Sadamatsu, famously touted as ‘the king of unboxing’. It’s good to have a familiar face during filming.

Looking back on her long run in the industry, Sumire sounded almost surprised by her own longevity. While reflecting on her journey, including her early days under a different stage name, Miri Mizuki, the 31-year-old admitted that she never expected the career to last this long in the first place.

“I never imagined I’d last this long,” Sumire said, thanking fans and collaborators for their support. “I’m truly grateful to everyone for making my life so wonderful.”

Naturally, fans asked her what’s next.

But Sumire was clear about one thing in particular: her JAV career has officially come to an end. But disappearing from the spotlight wasn’t something that was going to happen soon.

To compensate for her absence, Sumire admitted to keep updating her MyFans page upon being asked by a fan whether she would still update her fan-exclusive account.

In other words, while she may be stepping away from traditional JAV productions, she’s not exactly ditching her catalog of adult content. Her retirement simply means she will no longer film censored JAVs. But fans who already follow her on myFans have nothing to worry about.

In a previous column, I had covered how she had become exclusive to Madonna, but after her exclusive contract with Madonna ended, Sumire spent the last stretch of her career operating largely as a freelancer. That gave her the freedom to collaborate with various studios, but it also meant she was gradually transitioning toward a fan-exclusive focused model.

Major studios, as insiders will tell you, aren’t exactly thrilled when their performers start selling content independently through alternative channels. It disrupts their sales, so in many ways, this ending felt inevitable.

Now, since the filming has completed, it’s only a matter of time until the JAV drops. Don’t forget to grab it when it does!

Aki Sasaki WARNS Fans From Buying DUPES, As Fake Memorabilia Starts Circulating In Online Marketplaces

If you’ve attended any JAV fan meetups in the past or happened to buy any merchandise from such events, this story is for you.

Now, for the vetted ones who have experience in attending multiple events in the JAV scene, perhaps you already know the answer to what the most coveted item tends to be. And if you’re thinking posters, DVDs, or photobooks, you’re likely wrong in your assumption. It’s these damn Polaroids.

Those seemingly simple instant photos often snapped backstage or at meet-and-greet events have quietly become one of the most prized possessions among adult film fans. They’re personal, they’re limited, and if they carry an autograph, they instantly turn into a collector’s item.

What fascinates me even more is that the craze isn’t limited to people who attend these events by themselves. A whole reselling market has emerged online. Browse marketplaces across Japan, Taiwan, or Hong Kong, and you’ll see listings for signed Polaroids changing hands constantly. Some rare ones even fetch surprisingly high prices as if they were a limited edition Pokémon card.

But here’s the part where the story takes a slightly darker turn.

Remember Aki Sasaki? The yesteryear actress who was revived by MOODYZ last year

According to Aki, not every Polaroid circulating online is what it claims to be. In fact, some of them are completely fake.

The issue surfaced recently when the 46-year-old had reshared a post on social media that linked to a listing on Yahoo! Japan Auctions. The item in question was a Polaroid supposedly signed by her. Except, according to Sasaki, it wasn’t.

And as any individual with caution would do, Aki was quick to shut down the listing with a blunt warning to fans.

“I have never signed those Polaroids,” she clarified. In other words, the autograph being sold was not hers. And her message to fans was crystal clear: don’t buy them!

Her agency, ListarPro, chipped in with an official statement of its own

According to them, there has been a growing problem with online fraudulent sellers printing unauthorized photos of actresses and passing them off as autographed Polaroids. These items are then sold to collectors who believe they’re purchasing genuine event souvenirs.

ListarPro objected to it and issued a strong warning to such bad actors. They described the practice as both copyright infringement and a violation of portrait rights, and they openly warned that legal action is not off the table if the activity continues.

Her agency, ListarPro's statement.

But here’s the thing: this problem isn’t limited to Japan.

Serial collectors who browse overseas marketplaces will quickly notice similar listings popping up in places like Taiwan. In many cases, the sellers simply print images taken from photobooks or event photos, slap a forged signature on them, and present the result as a rare collectible.

To the untrained eye, they can look convincing, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’d be authentic. And that’s where fans need to be especially careful.

Because in a collector’s market driven by passion and sometimes a bit of obsession, fake merchandise can spread surprisingly fast. So if you’re one of those dedicated fans hunting down signed Polaroids of your favorite JAV actresses, consider this your friendly gossip-column warning.

That “rare autograph” you’re about to buy might not have been anywhere near the actress’s hands!

Recently a number of US states and a few countries of note have enacted age verification requirements for adult sites. On the US front at least, legal experts both within and outside of our industry do not believe any will pass a constitutional test. However, since these laws currently are on the books and thus have the ability to be enforced, we are choosing to comply with them at this point in time.

ZENRA uses Bluecheck.me, a third party verification service, to perform this important task easy to install filtering software does infinitely better.

Information used in the verification process is not stored on our servers. Phone number and address verification is instant and uses database cross referencing (no calls, no SMS messages, nothing mailed to the address). ID verification takes about one minute and is performed 'blind' on Bluecheck's side where the ID is reviewed by someone unaware of what service the submitter is attempting to access.

Regardless of what method you choose, it costs you nothing, but does increase the cost of our operations in order to somehow make the internet a 'safer' place.
