Some may wonder why in spite of there always being interracial JAV shot (not much, I give you, but it's been pretty consistent), why ZENRA has not shown much. I can assure you it's not for any nefarious reasons; after all, we're a foreign-owned and operated site so we have little compunctions of non-Japanese having sex with Japanese! The issue comes down with two things: frankly, most of our studio partners don't seem to shoot it as much as others and sadly most interracial JAV is both basic in theme and often has the foreign cast purposely appearing in roles we don't find savory. When the opportunity arises to show a good interracial movie where it feels less like a racial stereotype and 'only' like a foreigner stereotype, we take it!

Look no further than MY BOYFRIEND IS MY BIG BROTHER, an all-around fun movie shot by DREAMROOM featuring the busty, pale, petite, and curvy performer MAYU KAWAI who meets and has raw sex with Mike-san from USA. Obviously, they are not related. The title is simply tongue-in-cheek. Mike, as we learn, is a bouncer at a nightclub presumably in Tokyo. As I used to know someone eerily similar to him whom also worked as a club bouncer (albeit not in Tokyo, but elsewhere in Japan), this is a movie that felt almost too close to him. I can say though with full assurance that I don't know "Mike", but I know someone like Mike and it now all makes sense.

This is not a complex movie, but it sure is a unique one. MAYU notes she has studied abroad and that before going, she never slept with a foreigner, but while there...well, she kinda lost count! She returned speaking a good deal of English and surely with no other carry-on's and puts the former to use in a movie that thankfully made for an easier than normal subtitling job given the heavy use of our mother tongue. Mike does not seem to speak Japanese well so MAYU basically wore two hats: horny JAV star and surprisingly decent interpreter while our director took on an active role that had him remain behind the camera, but also appear as a happy-go-lucky third wheel who also thankfully stayed his distance when things got hot.

A movie like MY BOYFRIEND IS MY BIG BROTHER may or may not be a fan favorite. The facts on the ground reality is some love IR, some detest it. I think it's totally fine so long as racial stereotypes are avoided. If we have the chances to show more movies like this, we'll definitely take it!
