A walk in Shinjuku Gyoen on an especially sunny day? Or the same park in the fall to see something truly glorious? Or...how about inviting your crush on a weekend getaway somewhere outside the city? Away from all those known knowns and into a land of unknown...uh, unknowns. You get the picture.
We're back with the 18th iteration (or probably close to 30 if one counts the original series) of GOGOS's long-running FIRST TIME LESBIANS SECRET HOT SPRINGS VACATION RETURNS series. This one is a bit odd because if you've seen that great extra voluptuous cuckolding movie we showed perhaps two (!) years ago, the hotel should be very familiar. It comes as no surprise JAV studios may keep mental rolodexes of 'safe' places to shoot and if scheduling becomes a concern, default to them to avoid potential issues. This I bring to focus because unlike other movies in the series (aside from the last one that I also think was shot in the same place), this one may not do true service to the title with the 'onsen' element restricted to a nice stone semi-outdoor bath. Less traditional Japan, more fancy hotel located out of town, but hey, who can complain?
This time we're treated to Tsukasa and Kumi, age 26 and 24 respectively. As luck may have it, they are fans of walks in the park and outdoor baths which is great because that type of bath is here and the movie begins with them...walking in a park. Already checking off most all bases, a lesbian romance is surely in the air. But of course, it does not go from friends to lifetime scissoring partners right away; we can leave that for other studios that push more for lesbian fan service than the real deal, something GOGOS is more known for.
#18 is another good entry in the series. By now of course, as we have noted in the past, these come down less to modifying the formula and more taking two new faces and seeing how they interact. In a recent meeting with them from two weeks (as of writing this), I suggested they revisit the series, but instead of casting those in their 20's, to up the age by two decades. How cool would it be to have a relaunch with actual moms who have crushes on each other? Is this over-thinking?
