For those outside of Japan (and perhaps East Asian countries), the whole concept of an entrance ceremony for new hires may come off as kind of weird. Sure, on one hand, if a company is known for hiring those fresh out of college, it's more than likely that groups will be onboarded at the same time, but the rigid and dare I say school-like ceremonies that larger corporations still hold to this very day appear as if they were from another era. And it almost comes odd to note that if we take what happens in today and Monday's double update for a slice of reality, even SOFT ON DEMAND, a studio that in the nineties was seen as an upstart rebel, also makes use of these ceremonies for their new hires which is kind of odd when each time they have one, it always seems like it's maybe ten men in their forties (if not older) and a half dozen vivacious women half their ages.
But who can decide where reality ends and fantasy begins? SOFT ON DEMAND FEMALE EMPLOYEES ENTRANCE CEREMONY AND REAL LIFE WORKING EXPERIENCE attempts to show how a batch of new recruits handles the ropes at in this reviewer's opinion is the best JAV conglomerate of them all. Yes, departments are assigned and the tasks specific to them will be presumably taught at a later time, but the name of the game outside of the initial all hands on deck ceremony itself is merchandise!
Leave it to SOD to make great movies with big casts, great themes, and still somehow find a way to milk it extra hard, but in a way that still seems more akin to a limpet clinging to the rock of reality. Our female employees this time around may not be mollusks stuck to pirate ships, but their hands more often than not find themselves gripping against the erections of the all important 'user-san', Japanese for fans of the studio that for some reason always seem to be around when needed!
Sex is not a major aspect of ENTRANCE CEREMONY AND REAL LIFE WORKING EXPERIENCE. Every new female hire does seem to have it, but like other movies in this series, it mostly happens at the very end and most often in one-on-one situations. Games as well like rock-paper-scissors also have time to shine, but also near the very end. If there's one issue that became apparent when preparing this movie for ZENRA, it's that the majority of it feels more like a CFNM handjob vehicle. Thus, if handjobs by clothed Japanese women are your bag, the bulk of what we get here is perfect. But if you prefer female employee movies with more of a varied element, this one is a bit lacking.
AYU SAKURAI leads the pack and probably will be the only notable face among them. She is very easy on the eyes and knows it. Her portraying a new hire by that alone is a tall order, but you never know. Learning is important and what better way is there to learn about JAV than to spend some time working at one of its biggest production companies? In and out, toys and fans, in front of an audience, in a secluded hideaway on the 5th floor, clothes come on and later fly off, knowledge gained, and balls are released of their urges all for the sake of a pretty good, but not great JAV movie.
