Pan Takes - April 2025 Vol 1 - Maria Nagai, Alice Otsu, and Hikaru Nagi

April was a pretty solid month of new releases. It was the month of doujinshi adaptations it seems with Maria Nagai playing a curvy housewife and Himari as a succubus respectively. In addition, we got some Alice Otsu as she shows off her newest upgrades. Not to mention we'll see if Hikaru Nagi can redeem herself after that abysmal release from last month. But with Samoari behind the helm and ID being "666"...it doesn't sound good. Anyway as always I'll review each film and end off with a final score. Without further ado, let's dive in!

I love that we got another doujinshi adaptation from Maria. I've been saying all along that she's perfectly suited for them with her body that is ripped straight from hentai. This one is an adaptation of a work titled "A Story of the Time I NTR'ed the MILF Next Door". It centers around a guy who has seemingly put his voluptuous neighbor Maria under a daze by simply clapping his hands. Every time he does so, she falls under his complete control. He then uses this to fuck her at will. Maria is a great choice for this role as she's obviously got the thick body for it that matches the character from the manga but she also plays the role well too. Her exaggerated ahegao facial expressions are great and don't feel too over the top. As far as adaptations go, this one is pretty spot-on except for a few changes when it comes to the action and the setup. The action overall consists of three and a half sex scenes and a blowjob/toying scene.

The film does a great job of expanding upon several of these scenes such as that toying scene and adding a blowjob onto it. It is worth noting that the threesome at the end doens't include anal and DP like in the manga. It's a little disappointing but I can understand why they chose to omit that. Another slight change is that she doesn't get fucked right outside the window next to her husband like in the manga in one of the sex scenes. Again, it's not a huge deal but it was a nice element of risk. One thing I really like is how they show the manga pages on screen as a live comparison shot. It's a nice touch. Now I will say the setting and lighting does get tiresome as it's the same setup for most of the film. I do like the filter they use though which gives everything a nice glossy appearance. The camerawork is mostly solid too although a few shots could've been better. Overall, this is a terrific adaptation and one that any Maria fan should check out.

How could I not be thrilled for this one? Himari as a seemingly succubus just writes itself. However, it failed to deliver on this lofty premise. As you can tell this is a doujinshi adaptation of a work titled "My Sex-Crazed Life With the Insatiable Demon Queen". It centers around a guy who is summoned to another world to defeat a demon queen. He seemingly vanquishes her and awaits his reward back in the real world. He's expecting the princess but instead is greeted by the demon queen herself who intends to make a baby with him. That's all well and good but the execution falls flat. For one thing, the intro is really lackluster as they don't even adapt the beginning and instead just show the manga pages themselves. It's pretty lazy. Now beyond that it does a fine enough job of re-creating all the major scenes and story beats. But the production values are just way off the mark. The biggest issue by far is the camerawork.

Whoever shot this needs to learn how to work a camera because it's amateurish as fuck. Some of the angles here are downright awful as they're either too close or ill-framed. It's not all bad as there are some decent shots here and there but overall it's pretty lousy. I feel like the lighting could've been better too as it's rather flat for most of the film. I also have to point out that the last scene is kinda ruined for me personally as Himari sports a virgin killer sweater for the entire thing. It's in the manga so I understand its inclusion but I can't stand it personally. It's not sexy at all and obscures way too much. Now I will say the main outfit looks good on her and the wig is surprisingly nice. The action is solid as well with three full sex scenes that faithfully adapt the original doujin. Himari's performance is great too as she starts rather tsundere before slowly beginning to like the guy and genuinely falling for him. We get a few really nice moments like when she's riding on top of him and holds his hand on her ass while going to town. This makes it all the more frustrating that the production values are so crippling. Next time Moodyz, get someone who knows how to handle a damn camera please.

Noa has been pumping out the new releases lately at a feverish pace. This is just one of many. It casts Noa as a shy introvert who meets up with our guy here as she's looking for a tutor. He can't resist gawking at her boobs which ultimately leads to the two going at it. I liked the initial setup but it feels poorly utilized as this theme is essentially a non-factor for most of the film. It just falls back onto the usual trappings from this label. This "BOBB" label can be really formulaic which is quite apparent with the action. The action consists of two sex scenes, two paizuri scenes, a handjob scene, and a shower titty play scene. That latter scene doesn't go anywhere but it does provide some juicy eyecandy if nothing else.

The non-sex scenes are rather underwhelming thanks to the fake cumshots although the handjob scene is still nice thanks to the titty smothering aspect. The sex scenes are great though with a nice mix of cowgirl, doggystyle, and missionary that showcases her chest very well. The seeming lack of any real cumshots though is a huge bummer. Moving on to the production values which are exactly as expected from this label. The lighting is rather low-key but it looks decent for the most part. I really liked the setup at the end in particular. I also wanna praise her appearance. Not only does she look great but I loved the glasses and pigtails look. Plus, the cowprint outfit is just spot-on. The BOBB label is like junk food. It's not the most fulfilling but it gets the job done and you know what to expect.

I'm always down for more chonky Yui. In this one, we see Yui taking up a drawing lesson from her older male neighbor who is lusting after her. He attempts to make an advance on her but fails which leads to him using a phone app to place her under a daze. Now he's free to manipulate her and take complete control as he fucks her at will. This ultimately culiminates in the end with him and her fucking while the husband is made to watch next to the bed. This usually isn't my preferred theme however, I didn't mind it too much. This is mostly due to Yui's terrific performance. She's appropriately submissive to start and I liked the moments where she momentarily breaks out of the daze. Even better at the end when she fully embraces it and displays some nice ahegao expressions.

The action isn't too bad as well consisting of two sex scenes and two blowjob scenes alongside a meaty setup at the start to get things in motion. The one blowjob scene is lackluster thanks to it ending in a fake cumshot but the other at least ends with a real load. Although it features Yui in a schoolgirl outfit while sporting pigtails which is an odd look for someone more mature. The two sex scenes are both great and are paced pretty well. Another nice aspect is that she's nude for most of the film, serving up some juicy eyecandy. I also enjoyed the lighting all throughout. It's rather samey across most of the film but it complements her curves well and isn't too harsh. The different colored lenses were a nice touch too near the end. All in all, a fine watch despite not being crazy about the plot.

After the disastrous release from last month, it can't get any worse right? Surely not but then again, this one is directed by none other than Samoari and it's numbered "666". This can't be a good sign. Anyway, this one is pretty vanilla as is the case with most of his works. It just loosely centers on orgasms and some light squirting. With that out of the way, let's get into the production values. This is always a sore spot for Samoari but here he does an okay job. There are sadly still some frustrating camera angles and jarring cuts but it's not as bad as some of his other films admittedly. I do really like his doggystyle shot where he shoots from the front. The lighting is also well done and perhaps best of all his wardrobe is on point as always. I've always said that I liked his style of outfits and that rings true here. The main highlight is clearly the bunnygirl outfit. Another aspect that I must begrudgingly admit is that Samoari does well is that he manages to bring out the best in a performer.

Now don't get me wrong, Hikaru is still rather underwhelming. But she at least has some spark here and there with some decent facial expressions. Now we get to the action which is also quite solid. It features three sex scenes and a tittyfuck scene overall. My only real gripe is with the tittyfuck scene as it drags on and isn't too satisfying thanks to her middling technique. All three sex scenes are generally enjoyable, utilize a nice array of positions and boast real cumshots. The end result is definitely a more enjoyable film that the travesty from last month. This could've been even better but Samoari's terrible camerawork does get in the way sadly. Still not a bad watch though all things considered. The bunnygirl scene is at least worth the price of admission.

A new video that can finally showcase her latest upgrades...sorta. This is a very vanilla themed film with no real plot to speak of. The focus instead is centered on close-up shots and a wide array of different outfits such as fishnets and a bunnygirl costume. I do love the variety with the latter but despite being perfectly fine with fisheye lens, this is a bit too much even for me. Several of the shots here are waaay too close up and are verging on looking like a funhouse effect. It's not all bad mind you but it's a little too ergregious. Speaking of the production values, the lighting is also a bit flawed. It's often too bright and saturated which doesn't really do her any favors. They really needed to tone it down. On the positive side, I do like most of her outfits and the pacing is well balanced overall.

Next up we have the action that unfortunately also has some frustrations. It consists of three sex scenes, a handjob scene, a paizuri scene, a blowjob scene and a few simulated sex scenes for whatever reason. This is where they fake her getting fucked by having the guy post up behind her and shoot with an extreme close up shot. Pretty lame if you ask me. Another negative is the copious amount of fake cumshots. They at least attempt to look real so I'll give them some points for that. The sex scenes are decent at least and I especially liked the threesome at the end that includes a massive facial finish(albeit likely fake). AVSA-371 isn't a bad watch but the obnoxious close-ups, fisheye lens and mixed bag of lighting do sour the experience sadly.

Now that's an amazing cover. Hana sporting pigtails while wearing a nurse's uniform is just too good. Does the film live up to this stellar cover? Well...not quite. The setup is fine enough with Hana playing a bedside nurse who takes care of her patients' every need. This of course mostly devolves into fucking them. Now I love myself a good nurse theme and Hana does a decent job with playing the role. However, the execution feels pretty underwhelming for several reasons. One of which is the dingy budget. It's clear that this film didn't have a huge backing behind it as Hana wears the same nurse uniform throughout the whole film coupled with nearly every scene taking place in the same identical room. They couldn't even change the lighting, with every scene featuring the same setup.

It's at least lit decently well, but it gets repetitive after a while, especially when every scene plays out the same with little variety in the scene scenarios. The action isn't bad but still has a few issues. It consists of two sex scenes, a paizuri scene, and a lame dildo play/masturbation scene. That scene is a complete waste of time while the tittyfuck scene is mostly forgettable thanks to the weak cumshot. The POV camerawork was nice though at least. The two sex scenes are both solid though with a nice range of positions and I loved that she kept her nurse uniform on for the whole time. FKRU-005 is still an enjoyable video to some extent but the disappointing production values, low effort plot, and middling action hold back its true potential.
