MOODYZ Actress Failed Solo Trip Attempt, Gets DEPORTED From Airport
Imagine planning a dream solo trip to New Zealand... only to end up in a detention center and be deported on the next flight back home. That's exactly what happened to Yua Fukuda, who has a dozen JAVs to her name.
When I first came across her tweet, I thought there had to be more to the story, and I wasn’t wrong.
According to Yua, things escalated so incredibly fast that she didn’t even have the time to fathom what just happened!
The MOODYZ actress, who debuted just last December, revealed that she was detained upon arrival in New Zealand, questioned for more than six hours, subjected to a substance test, and ultimately denied entry into the country.
As if that wasn’t enough, things got even worse.

She says around ten officers appeared, confiscated her belongings, and placed her in a detention facility while arrangements were made to deport her back to Japan. Reading that alone sounds stressful.
But the part that seemed to hit Yua the hardest wasn't the detention itself. It was what had to come next because, according to her, the incident now remains on her travel record, which could potentially make future international travel more complicated.
And for someone like Yua, that's devastating. You may ask why? Because travel for her isn’t just a hobby. It has always been a dream.

She explained in another tweet that throughout her early twenties, one of her biggest goals was to travel abroad every month, experience different cultures, meet new people, and discover perspectives she could never encounter in Japan.
Now, she's worried that the dream may become much harder to pursue, and you can feel the disappointment in her words.
What's interesting is that Yua insists her JAV career wasn't really the focus of the questioning.
According to her, immigration officers only briefly asked about her work. She told them she was a photo model and even showed casual photos of herself along with financial documents from the previous year.
So what triggered the suspicion? Apparently, it may have been the trip itself.
そもそもやけどAV女優である事は、話してないし、若い女1人、ほぼノープランでフラッと海外行ったから疑われました。LCCやし安いドミトリーのホステルですし、すっぴん服装コレですし。 pic.twitter.com/MbnHM6erSj

Her itinerary involved traveling through Queenstown, Tekapo, Christchurch, and Auckland over just a few days. She hadn't booked any tours or activities because she simply wanted to enjoy nature, scenery, and the night sky at her own pace, but according to the document denying her entry, officials reportedly found it suspicious that the woman was traveling alone for such a short period with almost no scheduled activities.
When you combine that with a last-minute trip, budget accommodations, a low-cost airline ticket, and a traveler arriving with no makeup and minimal plans, I can at least understand why additional questions were raised.
What surprised me most, however, was Yua's attitude afterward.
As she later confessed in a different tweet, despite everything that happened, she didn't seem angry at New Zealand. Rather, quite the opposite.
She openly said she believes the country is safe precisely because immigration authorities are strict. Yua even recalled seeing a beautiful moon before leaving and said she smiled and waved goodbye to the officers who were so nice to her.
大丈夫だよん🌙多分ニュージーランドは厳しいからこそ治安が守られてる凄く良い国🇳🇿最後見た月も綺麗で警察に笑顔でバイバイした!優しかった!みんなのコメントで救われてるし、ありがとう😊大好きっ🩷 pic.twitter.com/uopIa4Gd5G

Honestly, I wasn't expecting that. Most people would probably leave furious, yet she somehow managed to leave grateful.
Of course, the incident immediately sparked discussion online as one fan pointed out that immigration rules in several countries have reportedly become stricter due to concerns about visitors overstaying, working illegally, or engaging in activities outside the purpose of their visas.
Whether that played a role here is impossible to know, but what makes me feel sad for her is that what was supposed to be a relaxing solo adventure turned into a six-hour interrogation, a detention center stay, and an unexpected flight home.
That's probably not a travel story Yua Fukuda will ever forget.
