Pronouncements by industry leaders always have to be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. There's nothing like a dire warning about the availability of a product to gin up sales, at least in the short term. And piracy goes back to the days of celluloid film. It was 1915 when the first recognized "film" was released --- "Birth of a Nation" by D.W. Griffith. That same year, the first "smokers," or stag films or adult films were made and circulated surreptitiously --- as thousands more would be over the next 50 years or more. "Adult entertainment," such as it was in those times, was limited to showings of these films in college dorms, military barracks, fraternal organizations, private clubs and such. The average person did not have access to the film projectors needed to show them --- and the whole thing was based on "piracy" as the films were made clandestinely and because of silly laws grounded in toxic Christian morality, no one could really take ownership or copyright them. Anyway, the point is, people have been producing adult entertainment since the beginning of moving pictures --- and it will continue in one form or another. That will not stop! Humans will do what humans want to do no matter what. As for "piracy," it's simply a fact of the Internet age. As a photographer and writer I have to suffer theft of my products, despite intellectual property laws. It is annoying as hell to see some Web site using an image I rolled around in wet grass on a cold day to create, but it is what it is. And I'm sure the "AI" world is using the writings I produce to buttress their daunting "intelligence." I certainly agree that Zenra's strength is the translation. It's what keeps me as a customer. I like JAV for two equal reasons, first the sexual intimacy and second the insight it gives me into Japanese culture. I also watch a lot of utube videos about Japan and it's culture. Naturally, I never respond well to either/or situations. How slow is slow? How fast is fast? What I want to see is specific desire. I want to know what the human wants from the sexual interaction. "Slow" may tell me the woman is reveling in the attraction she has engendered in the partner. She may show this by teasing actions and movements, coy smiles, suggestive caresses or other movements and actions. Slow also has the possibility of lingering in the afterglow moments, the sweet togetherness after the physical peaks have subsided. Tenderness, I suppose, and that has a place for me. On the other hand, "slow" may tell me the woman is disinterested, i.e. not really into it. That's where good acting comes into play. The "fast" category would suggest the human is already intoxicated with sexual desire and craves satisfaction and release ASAP. This is far more akin to conventional Western Adult Video (WAV). Certainly not my favorite as it sets no scene and has only one possible outcome --- spunk being deposited somewhere! The fast vs slow debate can also be related to intimate relationships vs purchased releases. Some, however, go overboard and when the woman never stops resisting, it enters an offensive realm. Skin bruises, scars, and such imperfections. For some reason, Japanese women seem to always have bruised legs. Also I see scars but that's more often on the men. Why is this and why do they not use makeup to cover these imperfections? You apparently watch JAV in a much different way than I do. The only word I ever recognize in JAV is "hai," what I presume to be "yes" in English. I do listen to tone, although I'm not sure it's very reliable or useful. What I do know is that 80% or more of human communication is body language, and that's what I watch for and see in JAV. What I have concluded doing that is Japanese women are masters of saying yes and no at the same time. Interpretation is required to know which way it's actually going. This no doubt contributes to my valuation of acting skills in JAV. The better the acting, the better the video.
