The Stages of JAV MILF Fandom

Hey guys, Oppaira here. We all like MILFs, right? Okay well at least I do and I'm a pretty big fan. And now I'm curious to see where everyone else lands. This post is inspired doubly from fellow blogger Fried Chikan, once on the side of him doing the same sort of scale with Ichika Matsumoto but also the way we once traded reviews once before and I made him watch a bunch of MILFs. So now I'm here today to go through the stages of being a MILF fan. I hope you'll play along as you go through trying to figure out what stage you're in.

You’re at the stage where you reject the notion that any woman above the age of 30 (or 25 if you’re Leo) is good. They need that youthful, porcelain skin look, and anything else is heresy. You’re quick to check out all the new debuts at S1 and SOD hoping for another gem that will have enough time before she’s stale. Maybe you’ve seen a clip or two in passing but you know it’s not for you.

You’re at the stage now where you start enjoying actresses who aren’t quite there but maybe kind of are. A Jun Megami here, a Nao Jinguji there. These are the kind that pass for both styles, like Nao Jinguji being at Madonna and Moodyz. You start wondering how long Moodyz will keep her because she’s getting there, but you’re more so watching her at Moodyz.

You’ve finally taken the plunge and here we are, a newly minted MILF fan. Or not. You’ve finally watched one but it wasn’t for you. Maybe it was even a softball like Saki Okuda still on the S1 roster or Kiho Kanematsu also on S1’s roster, both in their 30s. Either way, kudos to you for watching in the first place, team MILF is happy to have you, but you’re not ready for them. You retreat back to your comfort zone, these older women don’t do it for you yet.

You’ve been a long time fan and now your favourites are getting there. Julia, Yui Hatano, Hibiki Otsuki, Ayaka Tomoda - these are actresses you’ve been watching for years and you’re sticking with them. Sure, you’re not really thinking about them as MILFs, not until people remind you they’ve been in the industry 15+ years and are nearly 40 now. And even if you don’t look at them that way, others do, and you’re starting to wonder if you’re actually into MILFs. You keep telling yourself no it’s just your long time favourites, but part of you starts to wonder…

You’re now starting to watch them, caving in that maybe some of them could be decent. You pick some fan favourites out of this like Marina Shiraishi or Ryo Ayumi, just trying to get a sense of what’s out there and who’s who. You’re still hesitant to call yourself a MILF fan at this point but it’s getting harder and harder to say you’re not into them.

You’re at a stage now where you’re ready to admit it. You’re not quite ready for Madonna’s Monroe label but you can enjoy a good MILF. And no we’re not talking about your favourites getting up there but some decent MILFs like Aki Sasaki and Kanna Fuji, actresses who have always been labeled that way. Sure, you’re only going for the top of the top, actresses at the peak of Madonna or nice enough to hang elsewhere, but hey, you’re here and enjoying yourself. You’re still perfectly happy to watch all the other younger actresses too, but it’s a diverse mix where you’re at now.

You’ve gotten to the point now where you enjoy some plain MILFs. Not the super attractive ones, not your favourite being around for 15 years and turning into one, but this random plain MILF at Madonna. A Ririko Kinoshita type actress who has nothing remarkable about her but you just can’t help yourself. Is this who I am now? I’ll watch anyone and everyone? Do I even still like those fresh debuts?

You’ve gotten to the point where you can barely watch anything else. I mean you still do but you accept that mature women are more than good, they’re the best. The wrong side of 30 is now the right side, and you finally understand why 42 is the answer to the ultimate question of life. All you can do now is hope your favourites stick around long enough that they make it to Madonna, because while Kanna Seto might be nice now you figure she’ll be even nicer in her 30s. Instead you’d rather be watching the Madonna gamut, like Momoko Isshiki, Yuka Oshima, Rei Kimura, and Yuka Niizuma.

You’re now at the stage where you only watch MILFs. It doesn’t matter how nice Kanna Seto is, if she’s not on the wrong side of 30 you just don’t really care. Maybe your penis is broken when it doesn’t even get a chub from Kanna but hey, I’m not judging. You start getting annoyed when someone like Himeka Iori ends up at Madonna because she’s no MILF and we have integrity, and you’d far sooner be watching Maki Hojo or Yumi Kazama instead. Hell, you’re at a point now where Miki Yoshii, someone who is often playing the no-sex stepmom, is far more attractive than the star of the show.

You’ve transcended past mere mortals and now need them to be old. We’re talking seriously old, like the kind you won’t even find in Madonna. The kind where white hair is totally an option. I won’t yuck your yum but I bet it wouldn’t even phase you at this point if someone tried to spoil your fun. You’re a big fan of actresses like Maki Tomoda and Chisato Shoda but also keep praying they’ll continue for another 10 years because everyone knows retirement age is great. ZENRA's got you covered too if you want some of these, maybe the cover says they're not this mature but I disagree with how they look.

This wouldn’t be complete without me commenting about where I am, and honestly I’m at about an 8.5. Madonna is the best studio and I absolutely do keep wanting to see all my favourites mature up. I also am at the point where I do like Miki Yoshii more than others, in fact in my very first Ichika Matsumoto video that FC got me to watch, Miki Yoshii did play the stepmom and I do like her more than Ichika, even to this day. I am not though, and perhaps never will be, at a point where some up and coming actress won’t do it for me. Nano Ogasawara and Kanna Seto both got good praise from me as 2025 debuts who both debuted at just 20 years old. I mean sure, I’d be happier watching them if they were 10 years older, but I’m not going to write them off because of it. I can’t really remember a time that I personally wasn’t into mature actresses, but I started out as more of like a 6, where I was watching top mature actresses like Aki Sasaki or Yumi Kazama (and we’re talking about Yumi 10-15 years ago when she was a whippersnapper in her early 30s.
