I've always been critical of JAV female domination. The complex psychology of it is beyond their ken. For that reason, the videos are totally physical, weak and without spirit. That perhaps sounds harsh, but I had my first female domination experience over 50 years ago, and I've taken it seriously and lived it ever since. I can't offer much of an opinion as I've never seen this "hentai" you talk about, and have zero interest in such a thing. I've never read comic books. I hate animated cartoons of any sort and never watch such things. There is one illustration in this blog that suggests your hentai pixelates genitals the same as JAV, and that seems ridiculous in the extreme. Would they do the same with an image of Michelangelo's David? What I can offer is a recommendation. With no "hentai" familiarity, I checked it out on Wikipedia. Protection Racket? Sorry to begin on a pedantic note, but I reject the use of the term “pornography” as descriptive of adult entertainment. I know “porn” is an easy shorthand, but to me it’s offensive when applied to sex work when done for entertainment purposes. To be clear, Merriam-Webster defines the etymology of the term “pornography” as: “Greek pornographos, adjective, writing about [sex selling], from pornē ["p" word] + graphein to write.” Adult video entertainment is neither about writing nor about selling sex. Merriam-Webster, again, defines the “p” word as: “a person who engages in sex acts and especially sexual intercourse in exchange for pay.” Adult entertainment is not sex for sale, it is acting — the portrayal of a fictional role. You would not call Marlon Brando a murdering gangster because he acted as one in a movie. And with that out of the way, now on to the current state of the assault on adult entertainment. I’m in the U.S. and know little about what other countries are doing or not doing about adult entertainment. I do know I can’t access JAV directly since I am not in Japan, and I don’t like that. The U.S. is currently in an authoritarian chaos so anything might happen. From my perspective, I believe there is a genuine possibility of governmental collapse in the next few years. At that point everything worldwide is up in the air. Anyway, given the arguments advanced in the blog…. The education argument is, of course, vacuous. No one would argue the purpose (or even collateral consequence) of adult entertainment is education. That said, it has always had educational value. My first such education, as a less than adult, was National Geographic magazine. We would pass around the ones showing African tribes where women were topless — and for the first time we got to see real tits! Moving on, we could always find copies of Playboy magazine our fathers would stash in hiding places. As less than adults, word of mouth and personal experiences filled in the blanks. However, connecting it directly to adult entertainment cannot hold up in any reasonable argument. The “moral decay” argument is the religion card. Fortunately, organized religion is declining in adherence. Yet there are still some willing to use it as an embarrassment more than anything. From a pure sociological perspective, adult entertainment is far down the list of things that weaken the foundations of marriage, fam and society in general. Drugs, greed, immaturity, gambling, stupidity, poverty, lack of education, etc. are all more decaying to society. Finally, rather than a blog about the assault on adult entertainment, I’d prefer a thoughtful look at the future. Again, I’m in the U.S. so I only know what I see here, but I’m hopeful and confident (given that the government does not collapse). Anecdotal, yes, but I see far more openness and acceptance of sex as entertainment. I also see many women who are amazingly smart and emotionally mature finding a way to make good livings in sex entertainment. Some I’ve known for 10-20 years and they’ve managed to get themselves financially set for life at this point. Whatever assaults society throws at them I’m confident they can weather. Also, the adult entertainment business is a substantial industry, and if we value anything in capitalism, it’s business success — they won’t want to do anything to cause real harm overall to a large segment. A few condescending pinpricks here and there won’t cause any real harm.

Semen Facials? I imagine an editorial meeting. Publisher, editor, reporters, writers at a conference table in a quiet corporate office. Ideas for stories, opinion pieces, etc. are being bandied about, judged, criticized, evaluated, expanded upon. One promising writer suggests he’d like to do a piece about men ejaculating semen onto the faces of women. What looks good, what doesn’t look good, what’s the right amount, what is the role of the women, etc.? Only in JAV! As I read this piece I could not stop thinking how bizarre it is for men to be discussing details of depositing semen onto the faces of women. It seems so out of the course of everyday discourse. Imagine a man getting home from work, and his wife saying, “Honey, will you please squirt your love juice on my face tonight? I’m having lunch with the girls tomorrow, and I want to look my best." The dictionary definition of “facial” is: “a treatment to improve the condition or appearance of the facial skin.” I guess in the realm of adult entertainment, a semen facial may improve the appearance of the facial skin. Many of us like the way a woman looks with fresh semen in her eyes and dripping off her nose and chin. For me, I’m much less interested in the technical details of how much and where than I am the why. What’s the psychology that makes a facial so appealing to so many? Is this a common practice in “real life” or is it only an adult video thing? What are the origins? Memory is imperfect, but I don’t recall seeing such things in the old 8mm film “smoker” days. Was it part of the Linda Lovelace “Deep Throat” advance in adult entertainment? While there is clearly a dominance aspect, is there also an elemental disrespect element to it? Do only submissive women want it? Do any women really want it? Is the man arrogantly denying the woman’s desire to have that semen sloshing around her uterus? “Yeah, the power of your pussy brought it out of me, but I’ll decide where it goes, bitch!” Many women seem to smile after the act, and I wonder if it’s prideful — “I made this happen.” Other women seem to hate the whole thing. Would an audience prefer to see the woman hate it or love it? So many questions. I clearly should have been at that editorial meeting!! One thing the blog writer did not discuss was the outdoors display that sometimes happens. I haven’t seen it in JAV, but there’s a whole sub-genre of WAV where women are sprayed, then paraded around outside. Orgasm Fantasies? Really, who dreams this stuff up? Yes, adult video entertainment is fundamentally fantasy, but to suggest the imposition of reality upon it seems truly delusional. The reality of “squirting” is that a few women may do it as their muscle spasms pressure the bladder and cause a modest amount of fluid to forcefully eject from the urethra. Comparing the female orgasm to the male equivalent is not just apples to oranges, it’s comparing football to war. The male has the same pelvic muscle spasms, but there is also a forceful ejection of seminal fluid — and once it finishes, he is finished for usually an hour or two in the most virile men and up to a day in oldsters. And as for the amount of semen, I laughed out loud when I read “the amount that comes out can be vast.” Yes, vast in that fantasy realm, but reality is a different story. Typical volume of semen ejaculated is one-third to one teaspoon. That translates to 0.17 fluid ounce. A shot glass holds 1.5 fluid ounces so it would take 10 guys to fill a simple shot glass. Hardly “vast,” in the real world. Like it or not the fundamental purpose of the sex act is to get the semen out of the male and into the female — procreation. We are programmed by millenia to understand this as the climax — the deed is done. The female orgasm exists to give her a reason to participate in an act so unbecoming to begin with. In boxing terms, the female orgasm is on the undercard, and, outside of the female domination arena, it can never be elevated to a main event.
