Washed Ashore With Beauty

It's hard to fathom, but there truly aren't that many JAV movies based on shipwrecked themes.  Without consulting our super secret cheat sheet, today's update, WASHED ASHORE WITH BEAUTY via V&R may be the first high budget release with that theme.  It's fantastic and truly is a gem that you probably won't see studios attempt to shoot again in today's climate.  Things can always change (we're forever optimists at ZENRA), but either way, this is a wonderful time capsule of a release that we're happy to be showing today.

The how's and why's are never fully explained.  While this is a 'drama' title, it also is a campy title with emphasis way more on the latter.  Did they all wash up from a ship?  Or perhaps an airplane crash (one of the trio of women is apparently a flight attendant)?   Or could this all be a very perverted and extended fantasy harem dream by (un)lucky Shidou-kun?  So many answers and while you won't finish watching this with everything explained, the bounteous amount of beautifully shot sex should make up for it.

This was one of Taro Kambe's earlier titles as a full-fledged JAV director.  It was shot not too long after the creation of V&R PRODUCTS, V&R PLANNING's slightly mainstream spinoff that left the SOD umbrella a few years ago and renamed themselves to V&R PRODUCE.  If you love ROCKET and their guessing game series, then rest easy as this is another title directed by the same person.  He's my favorite JAV director and may be one of the most uniquely perverted people in all of Japan.  Thankfully, he puts his prurience to great use.

WASHED ASHORE WITH BEAUTY was shot gosh knows where, but it really was done all outdoors with some beautiful backdrops.  In spite of it being done as far from an actual studio as you can get, the audio is crystal clear and aside from one tender nocturnal lesbian encounter, the lighting also is fantastic (that short lesbian coupling looks like the editors decided it was too dark and artificially increased the brightness in a less than satisfactory way).

One of my favorite moments from this release is when the trio of women decide to go to bed.  Before resting, they all agree it's too cold and since they have no blankets, the best way to keep warm is stripping stark naked (a shocked Shidou-san included!) and tenderly embrace each other.  Shidou-san tried his hardest not to get aroused and thankfully one of the trio noticed his predicament and took him aside for some intimate coitus (spoiler:  they were spotted leading to a fun encounter in the next scene).

Sure, WASHED ASHORE WITH BEAUTY is far from a new release.  As we've mentioned in a few other reviews, we decided to show both newer and older V&R titles since they have so many.  Already we can tell there's a big demand to see these time capsule releases with English subtitles and thus we'll continue to show them indefinitely while expanding to other makers.  After all, some of our most popular requests are for types of movies that rarely see the light of day anymore.  And remember, essentially all updates--including this one--are master tape transfers sent direct from the studios.  You will not see higher quality anywhere else!
