If our beloved JAV industry has an unsung hero(ine) of femdom, it's not MAKI HOJO who at least on this site receives enough praise on that front to last a lifetime, it's--and if we're limited ourselves only to active actresses (as this review is being written at least)--it's without a doubt YUU KAWAKAMI. For many a foreign JAV fan, this is one super long term performer who seems to have been flying under the radar for many years. She's definitely turned more into a dependable 'country mom' type of actress who comes out every so often for roles almost like MAKI TOMODA but without the nagging exclusive 'dial-it-in' contract (if we're talking finances solely from shooting, my money is on YUU with her freelance status being the better off). Still, approaching her 19th (!) year of performing, it's time to dial back the clock and show off that even when she could not even be considered a MILF, she still nailed roles requiring domination.

Fortunately, 'dominant YUU' is also 'lesbian YUU' and in the 51st edition of LESBIAN NANPA WITH DIRECTOR HARUNA, we have YUU pick up where HIBIKI OTSUKI has left off (ZENRA update chronologically-wise at least) and use her legerdemain to turn cute Japanese amateurs originally on walking quests around Ikebukuro into full-fledged lesbians. A win-win adventure if you ask me!

Casting aside, DIRECTOR HARUNA 51 - SEXUAL MASSAGE TRAINING COURSE keeps things safe. This series even to the very end (and yes, we plan to show all of them if possible!) seems to have stuck with a handful of themes on some type of rotation basis. Massage + lesbian seems like a surefire success pattern and thus it has many at a time to shine; here, we get seven (!) scenes each having YUU cast as the type of naughty masseuse few had any idea actually exists and each time with another easy on the eyes female amateur. Director Haruna remains as the on/off camera (we sometimes see her arms and hear her) helper who knows it's wise not to butt into the action too much.

One issue that at least compared to that recent HIBIKI OTSUKI update from this series is the massage oil. This time around for reasons I cannot begin to fathom, it appears like some type of canola oil was used--or if not specifically that, one of those cooking oils one can buy in most any supermarket aisle. This I bring up because of its less than ideal yellow coloring. There is no peeing in this movie! There are no accidents! All that weird yellow on the towels is the result of bad oil selection that thankfully seems rectified in other releases in the series.
