Weird and Wacky JAV from SOD 2: Kaijus, Cat Fights, and Sex in the Air

First up is one heck of a cover with a hot premise that’s always hot; chicks fighting chicks. Everything from the look of this title speaks to me. From the sweaty, oiled-up ladies in tube tops, exposed midriffs, wet hair, and denim jeans with just the tops of their underwear showing. All with the attitude of delinquents with spunk to spare. It has a very alt 2000s style. Love the style, and it’s not one you see often at all in JAV.

As for the fights, well, they are more one-sided than the front cover suggests. It’s really about a group of women ganging up and bullying one woman while stripping her nude and playing with her body. As for the actual execution, it might be too much for me, and your own mileage may vary. The dirty setting, the bottle playing, and the whole humiliation aspect didn’t really do it for me. Plus, there was hardly any full-on sex between the ladies outside of a short strap-on moment. It all felt like one long masturbation/sex toy scene. It does star 2000s superstar Maria Ozawa in two scenes. One reason why she was so popular was her willingness to push the envelope with titles like this. And these ladies did not treat her like a star at all. While I’m digging the fashion and style, this video is just too wild for me and lacking in sex.

Vending machines are so popular in Japan, and this title takes that subculture and mixes it for lewd results. Making for a title that is perfect for the hustle and bustle of modern society, with this human vending machine for the man on the go. Stuffing three beautiful women into a giant vending machine is certainly a fun premise that makes its own stories easily. Now this is the type of wacky set design I love seeing in JAV. The props department must’ve had fun putting this together. The video even starts with a handy in-universe explainer about how the whole process is made and maintained.

The best scenes are the ones that take place outside. One has a tired and dirty day laborer who’s looking to blow off some steam, while the other is a busy salaryman looking to pack in as much as he can during his break. Including eating his lunch, reading the paper, taking some calls, all while taking a fuck break too. During these scenes, the women are usually sporting a happy but blank expression and trying their best not to break character. It’s weird, surreal, and oddly erotic; everything our list should be today. Sadly, the video is only an hour long at best.

This next video is short too, but not lacking in size; it’s the Giant Naked Girl. Cribbing off of the Attack of the 50 Foot Woman for their own giant woman movie. Rather than a horror, this is a sad drama about a bullied woman who becomes gigantic. Expect plenty of green screen backgrounds and a miniature version of the Tokyo cityscape. The problem with these giantess videos is how to make them erotic. Giving them a giant man kind of defeats the purpose, but this video has a few tricks up its sleeve. One has them turning a sex toy machine to look like an excavator, which is used to explore her private bits. While the finale has her facing a giant monster.

But the scene that takes the cake is the full body pleasuring her love interest gives. The emotional climax of her touching relationship with a man has him entering her giant vagina. Which is a big pink slit prop complete with black marker lines to make it look like pubes. It’s even censored (those censors do not play around). Such a strange scene, but I couldn’t stop watching. A weird special effects movie that is all about the gimmick, but does have some creativity in its sex scenes.

More special effects JAV, and we go from giant women to invisible men. A video that is largely about a man who has turned invisible (ie, a man in a green screen suit made semitransparent) and goes around a hospital fucking the nurses. On the topic of overzealous censors from the last video, this one might take the cake. They censored his invisible penis. It’s invisible! Anyway, the video does have its share of invisible fun. In moments like when a nurse is yawning and he busts a load all over her mouth and face, or feeling up a doctor while she is examining a patient. It’s a neat little take on the Sneaky Sex genre with decent special effects for way back in 2009.

All that work for so little payoff is how I would describe this video’s concept. SOD takes to the air as they test the limits of high altitude eroticism. The mission: take a woman paragliding while a vibrator is attached to her crotch to make her squirt high into the air. We see our star train for the flight test in various drills and practices before the big jump, which only lasts for a few minutes, while the rest of the video stays grounded. You need to ask yourself if the juice is worth the squeeze, and in this case, probably not.

Our adventures into mid-air eroticism don’t stop here with this angelic video next. Personally, angels aren’t something I think people see as erotic, and you don’t see these costumes often at all. But that’s not going to stop SOD from strapping a woman and a man into harnesses and having them fuck in the air. Now, for most of the movie, the action stays grounded but does feature angel cosplay. It’s only the finale that we get to see some mid-air aerobics. Pretty awkward seeing the two try to bang while in the air, especially the woman flopping around. Awkward but pretty funny.

Special sex toys don’t appear out of nowhere; they are the result of hard work, extensive testing, and engineering perverted genius. Such is the case of these videos, where we see tireless JAV workers design and engineer a dildo wheelchair and bike. They're taking them for a spin out on the town. Of the two, the wheelchair videos are better at the hidden dildo trick. Taking on various women for a walk about town until the dildo takes them to completion. Far better not to have them manually ride the device and just let them react to the absurdity of the whole situation.

There is an infamous western scene starring Jynx Maze in a lemonade stand that was wildly popular. Old JAV was a trendsetter, as this predates that by quite a few years, though having women do lewd things in public has always been a recipe for success. This now-discontinued series is about a food truck that serves customers above board while serving themselves below board. There are some funny moments, like the look of surprise from one actress as she goes from sucking off a guy underneath to jumping up and taking a customer’s order. Some of the camera angles aren’t all that great, and they could’ve done a better job of getting actresses' reactions. But the idea is great, and it’s too bad the series was abandoned. I might prefer it over SOD’s much more popular Magic Mirror Bus series for its risky play.

It’s all so ridiculous and pretty darn enticing. I have to say the best ass of them all came in at the end, which was a solo affair. Where a tanned gal and her impeccable ass are brought out for the club to see. I can see why they gave her the spotlight. What an ass. Of the two, I’d definitely pick the Ass club series for public objectification.

Our last list took us to the courtroom, and we head back for more paperwork and Office ladies in this bureaucratic mess. Political parodies in JAV are quite rare in my experience. It’s not something they like to touch, and what a shame. As this type of absurdity is ripe to insert political satire. This stars Yuu Kawakami as a member of a political party that endorses Free Use, specifically free use of their pussies. We see them attend meetings, debates, and even go out in the field to meet with their constituents. I’ve never seen a JAV actress fuck on top of a tractor in a farm field to pander to voters until now. Equal parts weird and erotic; a perfect way to end our list.
