Four Flavors of Flat Petite JAV Stars Part 1

If you have been paying attention to my writings so far, you would know that I’m one of the few writers here who actually pays attention to the short, flat actresses in JAV. I even wrote a full feature with regards to my thoughts about Slim vs Voluptuous body standards in JAV a while ago. Although they are plenty appreciated in Japan, the general consensus among males still remains that Tits and Ass must prevail, for the pure visual and sexual spectacle of it.
But with our flat cuties, the lack of spectacle from the neck down, oftentimes lends itself to enhancing our focus towards their lovely faces. It’s also possible that because they have nothing going on in terms of Tits and Ass, the talent hunters have an instinctive bias of hunting down truly beautiful faces over anything else. That and, from my perspective, I find that flat chested cuties also perform better in front of the camera because they have to rely on a lot of sexual charm in their performance over the visual charm of having tits and ass.
The world of difference between the Voluptuous JAV star and the Slim Petite types and the grand spectrum of in-betweens makes for a nuanced difference in genre and style that draws in the JAV actress’ image and sexual preferences which in turn reflects in their output. Voluptuous gravitate towards the stepmothers, the older stepsisters roles, and the Slim Petites trend towards the schoolgirl, younger stepsister genres (though lets be clear, these are not easy predictors and I do love it when certain actresses are cast in unexpected roles)
Which is why I found four fun archetypes of Slim Petite Actresses, and somehow had the idea of making an article of creatively putting them and their performance and branding styles into buckets of flavor that best represent them. Though, it’s difficult to for sure put certain actresses for each category because they could end up being on different parts, since this could also be interpreted as a spectrum. For Part 1, I’ll focus on the most popular flavors of the Slim Petite Cutie: The Sweet and the Spicy.
Sweet
The sweet archetype is the most easily recognizable brand of the Slim Petite JAV actress. They are likely the first image in your mind when we think about the Slim Petite women in JAV. The concept of “Kawaii” - the aesthetic / beauty standard prevalent in Japan is all about creating fuzzy feelings in those who spot something that’s Kawaii. Although most of the slim petite actresses carry some level of kawaii sweetness that is inherent in their diminutive frame, those who are solidly in this flavor profile also act very sweet and warm and wholesome. Definitely safe to consume for all fans of JAV, the sweet flat petites of JAV can give you a sugar high
Aino Kishi
Of course I’m biased to my personal JAV GOAT. Aino Kishi is the epitome of the sweet flavor profile. Flat as a board but still very feminine, especially with her face that emanates both elegance and sweetness. Not only does she have the look, but she had this quirky wholesome charisma to her that’s super unique. She should come with a diabetes warning because she’s so damn sweet and cute!

I miss absurdly cute videos like these with vibrant colors and wacky situations. They just don’t make JAV like they used to.

A pretty unique one where Aino plays 3 different stepsisters who have quite different personalities and styles. No you’re not seeing double (or triple). They have camera/editing tricks that make her appear as multiple stepsisters at the same time. While not the best JAV video in her repertoire, I picked this because we do see at least three versions of Aino’s cutesy charm in this JAV. Very interesting.
Tazune Nanase (Nanase Haru)
Usually, I tend to wait for debutantes to marinate a bit before featuring them. But when I decided to write this article, I knew I had to include Tazune Nanase in this list even if she’s only had 2 movies so far (as of writing). Incredibly cute with that beauty mark and gorgeous bum. Her sweet vibe is definitely warm and inviting, and the most interesting thing is she’s also apparently a talented singer / idol too!

I consider the Sweets and Spicies to be quite similar, like two sides of a coin. With the Spicy archetype, I’ve decided to distinguish them with a certain mischievous and clever cuteness in their overall vibe. What separates the Spicies from the Sweets is the Spicies have a bit of a bite to them, like a drop of chilli pepper. More forward, less demure, they project more sluttiness than their counterpart. Definitely a good second in terms of the popularity of the different flavors, the Spiciy cuties bring a passionate sexual attitude!
