A new celebrity casting, not since Minamo has a new debut raised the eyes of JAV fans with their interesting background. Unlike Minamo I think our newbie’s backstory is much more intriguing. Our rookie today is a former youth Olympian and Bronze medal winner, Miku Kojima. But for AV she is going by Saki Shinkai.

What could have led this up and coming athlete into the world of porn, the mind wonders. Recently the 21 year old decided to strip for a nude photobook and now has decided to enter AV proper. The adult video would has seen its fair share of former athletes joining the industry. From a former professional wrestler and Olympic snowboarder becoming AV actor and actress. Now let’s see what our high profile newbie is all about.

The Talent

Standing tall at 5’9” with a toned body to match, Saki is an Olympian. This tall Amazon has a real athlete’s body. A broad frame with big shoulders muscles. A fit and toned body with a tight core with long slim legs. As an athlete she is right there, as an AV actress less so impressive. Average sized supple C cups that are far apart and with big dark nipples. A small and flat ass that is quite toned as well. I liked her fit body but it is far from the most bodacious or curviest around. She is very tall which I always like to see, more tall girls please.

Looks wise Saki isn’t a stunning beauty. She’s cute and I like her side swept short hair. A wide nose, big beaming eyes, and an even bigger mouth. She can give a very toothy smile with big thick lips. Cute but not very, I think she’ll look even better as she figures her style out more and matures too. Overall not exactly a stunning porn goddess out the gate. She has a body fit for swimming and shows promise.

The Title

As expected out extra long title is all about swimming. Pools, water, swimsuits with all the extra googles and caps galore. After a long interview we see her hit the water and show off her swimming form. Expertly swimming in pools far too small for the Olympic swimmer. In between scenes we see her showering down, changing her clothes, and stretching, she can get real limber. We get three full sex scenes with Saki. Her very first scene is just her in a one piece swimsuit on a white bed. The next one has her in athletic gym wear as the sex toys come out to play. And finally the last scene puts in in “that pool” with two men at her side.

The Sex

Saki is pretty much what you would expect from a debut. She is reserved and a bit restrained. She really did look like someone who was inexperienced with sex. Someone who was learning along the way and learning what she liked. The final scene is a bit much for her. Pool sex is awkward enough. Pool sex with two dudes, a vibrator, in a swimsuit for a newbie made it even more awkward. She was much more relaxed in the first two scenes. Especially the second seemed to like the vibrator they brought out a lot. Even asking about it after the scene in a rare behind the scenes clip. The best scene of the bunch because of how much more relaxed she seemed and her budding chemistry with her male costar.

While she was stiff and a bit shy like any debut I liked her attitude. Saki did not seem to mind things at all and seemed game for things. She loosened up very much so for all the pussy foreplay and looked like she enjoyed that more than she expected. I liked her genuine smile and how she would cover the bottom of her face and play with her lip when getting more and more aroused. She can be a bit gawky and awkward but that is to be expected of any new debut.

The Verdict

These high profile celebrity debuts are usually more interesting on a headline than in action. It is more so the story behind the actress that draws you in more than anything else, which is the case here. She is not a drop dead gorgeous stunner nor does she have a super curvy bod or is she an experienced lay in bed. What she does have is a cute toothy smile, a nicely toned athletic body, and a great attitude.  She didn’t exactly draw me in from the get go but won me over more and more as I watched her. She seems like she honestly wants to explore sex through AV and that interests me.

Sometimes it is all about having a good attitude which she has. For now I am giving her debut a 7 out of 10. She doesn’t really separate herself from the masses much but I have high hopes for her. She grew on me more and more as I watched her. Here is hoping Saki Shinkai can reach the podium for JAV as well.

*For those interested the former wrestler and snowboarder are Chocoball Mukai and Melo Imai. With Chocoball maintain a long career in AV while also wrestling periodically. Melo meanwhile only dropped into AV for a couple of titles before bouncing. She would later return to snowboarding and win the All Japan Snowboarding Championships in 2018. Talk about a comeback tale.
