Delcarajo TV Interview: Maria Ozawa with Playboy, Maria Nagai the Catholic, and Emily says no to Taku
YouTube is a treasure trove for JAV content and today we are looking at Delcarajo TV. A YouTube channel by Juanito Say, an Argentinian who focuses on exploring Japanese pop culture and life. Maria Ozawa
Maria gives us her background as half Canadian and half Japanese who was born and raised in Japan but spent a lot of time between both countries. She was very blunt and direct in listing her reasons for doing AV; she wanted to be famous, make some dough, and travel the world. Well, she passed the first two with flying colors. Then she mentions that for events she was able to travel all over Asia. So she set out everything she wanted from AV. I respect the candid candor from the retired legend.

Maria had considered going to America and working there partly because of their laxer and freer attitudes. When she got an invite to a Playboy mansion event where Playboy was inviting adult performers from all over the world for a big event, Maria saw that as her opportunity to break into that industry and start working in America.

Something Went Wrong
However, her agents at the time axed the idea because they didn’t speak English and weren’t comfortable with her working in America. So she passed on the opportunity, thinking that she could do it the next time. However, the next time never came and her plans for America never materialized. She spoke about this with some real regret. It’s interesting to think how well would Maria do in Western porn. Honestly, western porn is starved for quality Asian talent and I think she would've done well.
Do Actresses watch AV? Do they watch their own videos?
Now this is a question I am always curious to hear about. Maria answers and yes actresses do watch AV titles, well at least she did. Early on in her career, she would hang out with her fellow rookie actresses and they would watch porn together mainly their own. Taking notes on what they could improve on, seeing what was out there, and gossiping about male actors.
Free Sample Reversal
One funny story Maria mentions has to do with her free samples. She talks about how actresses would get a ton of free video samples (jealous) and on one occasion she lent a bunch to one of her male friends. Flash forward to a few years later, the man cited her free samples as the moment he realized he was gay because he found himself more interested in the men in the videos than the women. A reminder that JAV can be more than just for straight guys.
Maria mentions some other stories from her weirdest gifts like fans giving her keys to apartments but the oddest was a fan who gave her an all-black rubber complete with paddle and his business card. Some were less funny and more scary like one very wealthy fan and supposed prince from Indonesia whose unwanted advances led her to slipping out of a club in secret.

Maria gives us her background as quarter Spanish and Filipino and Half Japanese. Going over her strict Catholic background where the attitude on sex was that it was reserved only for marriage (if they could see her now). She also mentions that a majority of her personal fan club comes from America, 80% by her estimate. She cited Maria Ozawa as an inspiration as another Hafu who broke through and made it in JAV and that she took her stage name from her.
Then there is Emily who talks with the host in Spanish. Detailing her half Mexican and Japanese background and how she grew up in America. One story she gives us has to do with a very famous and well-known AV actor who made her realize she hated getting licked all over her face. JAV fans here should instantly know who that is.
