Kana Momonogi Launches Her Own Fashion Line, Fans Think She's Following Yua Mikami!
I’ve seen this pattern emerge lately where a retired actress teases a “major announcement,” and fans immediately start guessing.
Well, when Kana Momonogi teased in a tweet online, I think a lot of her fans were expecting something along those lines.
After all, she’s already retired, so what exactly could be left to announce?
As it turns out, the answer was something completely different. Kana has officially launched her own fashion brand. Now, I wasn't expecting that.
The former superstar revealed that her clothing label, “tulm,” is now officially open, with the online store finally going live after months of preparation, but what caught my attention wasn't the launch itself; it was how long she'd been quietly working on it.

According to Kana, this pet project has been in development for an entire year.
And from the way she described it, this wasn't one of those post-AV ventures where an actress simply puts their name on a product and lets everyone else handle the work. In fact, she openly admitted she knew very little about clothing production when she first started.
Yet somehow, that almost makes the story more interesting.
Instead of rushing the process, she says she spent the past year working closely with textile professionals, obsessing over details, learning the business, and refining the products until everything finally felt ready.
It sounds like something she genuinely wanted to build. What fascinates me most is how naturally Kana has transitioned into life after retirement.
Because, let's be honest, most retired actresses gradually fade from view.
Kana seems to be doing the exact opposite. Even after leaving the industry behind, she somehow keeps finding new ways to stay relevant, even if it seems similar to Yua Mikami’s post-AV trajectory to some extent.

As if that wasn't enough, she's also preparing for activities related to a Taiwanese cheerleading squad. And I think that's why this announcement stood out to me, because she’s making ample use of her time.
For years, fans watched Kana build one of the strongest personal brands in the industry. While many people focus on what she accomplished during her career, Kana herself seems far more interested in what comes next.
That's not always an easy transition. But Kana, however, appears to understand something important: that fame eventually fades. But a personal brand can keep evolving, and honestly, few former actresses have leveraged their audience as effectively as she has.
That's why I don't really see "tulm" as just another fashion label. I see it as an extension of Kana.
Whether the brand becomes a niche passion project or grows into something much bigger remains to be seen. Fashion is a difficult business, and online popularity doesn't automatically translate into commercial success.
So while fans were busy looking back at her retirement, Kana has already moved to better things in life, and I'm curious to see where this takes her.
Nami Togawa Bids Adieu To JAV But Fans Can Find Her In Red Dragon Club!
Well... that finally explains it. For months, I've been seeing fans ask the same question: What even happened to Nami Togawa?
Her last release came back in December last year, a love hotel-themed JAV directed by Bacon Tanaka. After that, she seemed to simply disappear. No new works. No major announcements. No hints about future projects. As if there was a grave silence in the air.
And as the months passed, that silence became harder and harder to ignore. Now we finally know why.
Nami Togawa has officially announced her retirement from the JAV industry.
It was how peaceful she sounded while announcing one of the major decisions of her life that surprised me: “I have been active in the industry since 2020, but I have now decided to retire,” she wrote.
She also apologized to fans who had been waiting for her return, acknowledging both the lengthy absence and the projects she never got the chance to take on.
“I know some people were waiting for new releases from me,” she admitted. “I'm truly sorry for not being able to meet those expectations.”
But the more I read her message, the more one thing stood out. She didn’t regret her decision much. And that's unusual. Because a lot of retirement announcements are filled with frustration. Burnout. Lingering sadness. Sometimes you can almost feel the uncertainty behind the words.
But not in Nami’s case.

In fact, she spoke about her time in the industry almost like someone reflecting on a goal she had always wanted to accomplish. “As for me, I feel I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the AV industry.”
She even described AV as something she had always wanted to experience at least once in her life, and the entire tone of the retirement made more sense.
“I still have many things I want to do,” she explained.
I think that's the key part of the entire announcement. Not the retirement but the future itself.
Because while Nami is leaving JAV behind, she's not disappearing.
She revealed that she'll continue working at Red Dragon, the well-known hostess club in Roppongi that has quietly remained part of her life throughout her career. In many ways, it almost feels like that path was waiting for her all along.
She's also planning to continue her YouTube activities and encouraged fans to follow her through her other accounts moving forward.
But then she said something that almost felt real. She's deleting this account. And honestly, whenever I hear that, a retirement suddenly feels different.
She thanked her fans, agency, production companies, staff members, makeup artists, and co-stars, repeatedly emphasizing that none of her experiences would have been possible without them.
“My heart is overflowing with gratitude.” Those were some of her final words.
After reading her statement, I couldn't help but feel that Nami Togawa got exactly what she wanted from this chapter of her life.
Not everyone leaves feeling fulfilled. But she did.
