BREAKING: Ai Sayama Comes Back Outta Retirement, Jun Mizukawa's 14 Year Long Haul Comes To An End, Kirara Asuka CAUGHT In The Act With K-Pop Idol!

Catch up on the most trending gossip that we had our eyes on in June
Ai Sayama Is The Latest To Turn MOODYZ Exclusive With A Manga Adaptation
If MOODYZ’s recent star signings, Rio Asahi, Ichika Matsumoto, and Waka Misono, haven’t quite rocked your world, don’t worry, I’ve got some more good news for you. Not that the previous signings are hot, but let’s be honest… the fans have been waiting for someone a little more experienced. And, Moodyz has done just that with their latest signing.
Ai Sayama is back! And she is in the news for all the right reasons; she’s exclusive!
Yes, you read that right. Starting next month, the beloved bombshell from the 2010s is officially rejoining MOODYZ under an exclusive contract (she had filmed prior as a freelancer with the studio). Unlike most signings, this announcement was quietly slipped into the studio’s July schedule drop on June 16, but I’ve been watching the JAV space on X long enough to know a quiet drop can sometimes carry huge significance.
For those who’ve followed Ai’s career and let’s face it, who hasn’t, this is huge! Especially since she announced an abrupt exit from JAV earlier. For those living under the rocks, her last MOODYZ outing was way back in 2018, in the live-action title MIMK-062, where she dipped her toes into the world of manga adaptations. Since then, she’s zapped her way through a few notable collabs. But now? She’s all set to drop another banger with Moodyz after all these years; she’ll bring a manga character to life.
This time, it’s MIMK-217, a saucy adaptation of “Otto no Tsurego ni, Komattemasu”, a one-shot manga by Mikka Minazuki. And yes, it’s got her fans talking!
Ai will be playing Kayoko, a newlywed stepmother who finds herself in a rather delicate situation. Her stepson, Kazuhiko, starved of maternal affection, stirs up feelings that cross far too many lines, and let’s just say… a single moment of intimacy spirals into an unrelenting loop of lust. What's even more exciting is that she’s unable to confess to her clueless husband, Mr. Can (yes, that’s the name), so she turns to those anonymous support forums on the internet for help.
View Spoiler
The plot is already giving hints of high drama. suppressed temptation. And Ai Sayama at the center of it all? Take my wallet!
But before you assume this signals a full-blown comeback or the reversal of her previously announced retirement, let me set the record straight: Ai is not “unretiring.” This move is strategic. It’s elegant. It’s a redefinition of retirement on her terms. She’s limiting herself to two films per month, keeping things light, selective, and very exclusive. With her contract at Tameike Goro now officially expired, Ai is giving herself the freedom to work on her terms, not at the machine-gun pace many of today’s idols are trapped in.
What I find especially fascinating is the symbolism. Her return to MOODYZ isn’t random. It’s poetic. Her last MOODYZ gig was in a manga-based role… and now, five years later, she returns in the same genre, under the same code series, with a whole new level of maturity and intrigue. It feels like a full-circle moment, one that’s more calculated than most will realize.
And let’s not ignore the subtext here: MOODYZ loves creating hype. They did it with ranking in some of the top names in the industry, and they’re repeating it with Ai. They know Ai still has the pull. While newer names bring fresh energy, Ai brings allure, maturity, and her legendary status.
So mark your calendars, July 10 is the release date for MIMK-217, and I promise you, it won’t go unnoticed. Ai Sayama's still got it!
Jun Mizukawa Quietly Slips Out Of Spotlight After 14 Years In The JAV Business
Now and then, an announcement lands that makes you wanna sigh rather than scream. And when Jun Mizukawa (or, as long-time fans remember her, Kana Yume) quietly slipped her retirement notice on X earlier, that sigh echoed across the industry, I guess.
“To all my dear fans, thank you for always supporting me,” she wrote. “I, Jun Mizukawa, will retire from AV acting activities on July, the 14th anniversary [of my debut].”
How could she miss thanking her agency, "I have been able to work hard up to this point thanks to the support of everyone at the agency, those involved, and all my fans. I am truly grateful."
A simple, heartfelt message was all it took from an actress who's seen it all and had already bid her adieu to the industry before officially confirming her exit this month.
If you’ve been paying attention, the signs were everywhere. Jun had locked her X for a while. Her shooting schedule was, at best, sporadic. Her JAV, once mainstream, had her shooting fetish JAVs catering to a certain niche, the kind of work that often signals the final, contract-free stretch of an actress’s career.
And then out of the blue, she dropped this almost inevitable tweet. A measured one to say the least!
Jun shared that she had stopped filming last year. The works currently on the market, still rolling out this summer and fal,l were all shot last year, and they will be gone after they are released. And as announced, she’s already left her agency, and with that, her career comes to a halt. Jun stated, "I apologize for the sudden announcement. I am truly grateful for the 14 years since 2011. I have now left the agency, and finished filming the film itself last year. I think the release of my final film will be around summer to autumn."

Now, let us have a look back at her career.
She entered the industry in July 2011 under the alias Kana Yume, with her debut in Maxing’s MXGS-345. Fresh-faced, ambitious, and unafraid to go where many wouldn’t, Kana made waves early on. But her career was never a straight line. After a stint as a studio exclusive, she pivoted to freelance work, a move that let her explore riskier, more diverse performances. For a brief period, she signed on with Dahlia Studio, adopting the name Jun Mizukawa. But that phase, by her admission, was forgettable. She slipped back into the freelance circuit, where the industry and her fans still had room for her.
Jun was bold. She wasn’t afraid of the heavy-taste content most actresses avoid. There were leaked scenes that proved her raw edge uncensored, unapologetic, and, for many, unforgettable. She even once said she was in the industry to fulfill her fans’ fantasies, a mission she took seriously.
But 14 years later, it’s clear something had shifted.
There’s no room anymore for the playful chaos of the Ebisu Muscats era. The industry has changed. And Jun, now 31, has changed with it. She’s no longer the wide-eyed 18-year-old ready to have room for experimenting with her JAVs. She’s lived through the highs, the grime, the exhaustion, all of it. And now, she wants a break. Something that was long due.
She hasn’t exactly delved into what’s next for her. “As for the future, I want to carry out activities in a different form,” she teased, “but I can’t share that just yet.” It could be anything, mainstream entertainment, behind-the-scenes work, all while there’s a possibility of an impending retirement from the public eye altogether. Whatever it is, she promised to keep fans in the loop when the time is right. Until then, all you can do is wait.
I know some people will mourn her exit. And rightly so. Jun Mizukawa wasn’t just another name on a cover; she was part of a wilder, more unpredictable era of adult entertainment. An era that’s slowly slipping away.
So here's to Jun for her candor, her boldness, her 14 years of unfiltered energy. If this is the end, it’s one hell of a legacy. And if it’s not? Well, you know I’ll be the first to spill the tea.
Kirara Asuka Breaks Her Silence On Latest Scandal Involving K-Pop Idol
Just when we thought the post-retirement life of former JAV actress & perhaps the finest gyaru chick ever to do it, Asuka Kirara was nothing sort of exciting, she somehow finds herself in this column all thanks to a recent scandal making its way from South Korea, involving one of the most renowned idols of the country’s pop industry and trust me when I say this, you all should grab some popcorn as it’s about to unfold.
So, let me set the stage.
It was May 30, 2025. A casual drinking party in Korea’s K-pop capital ( seems innocent enough, right?) Among the guests was Ju Haknyeon, a member of the K-pop boy band THE BOYZ, and accompanying him was none other than our enigmatic darling, Kirara. As the story goes, the night ended with the 26-year-old reportedly leaving with Kirara and then joining his group at the hotel the very next morning. So far, nothing seems suspicious. But in the entertainment industry, rumors spread like wildfires.

Suddenly, the K-pop space was ablaze with claims that Jun had paid Kirara in exchange for some sexual favors. Various sources claimed that this scandal was the very reason behind the abrupt termination of Haknyeon’s contract. The implications were fatal, even career-ending, for the 26-year-old idol. But how could someone as unapologetic and bold as Kirara let her name get dragged through without putting forth her side of the story? And boy, did she speak.
Right after the incident, Kirara addressed the growing rumors head-on via her official X handle. “There are many speculations,” she began, “but Shukan Bunshun’s article has not been released yet. Please do not spread false information.” She went on to explicitly deny ever engaging in maidam—Japan’s euphemism for transactional sex. “Of course, this time is the same,” she added, clearly referencing the current firestorm brewing online.
But things were about to get a little more interesting.
Kirara claims the supposed spy shots came from a random woman at the bar who happened to be a fan of Haknyeon, no less, who allegedly snapped the pair’s photo and sold it to the Japanese tabloid Shukan Bunshun. Now, for the uninitiated, Bunshun is Japan’s version of Page 3: part truth, part tabloid fantasy, always salivating for scandal and not above sourcing from someone’s cousin’s barista's ex.
And speaking of loose lips, an unverified group member reportedly spilled that Haknyeon once bragged about bedding Kirara but later walked it back as "dorm talks." Uh-huh. We've all heard that one before. Whether he was posturing or not, the damage was done. But rather than stay silent, Haknyeon, clearly in damage control mode, issued a handwritten apology right after. Too desperate of him, I'd say.
In the letter, he stated, "Hello. I'm a Ju Haknyeon. First of all, I would like to apologize to all of our fans who may have been alarmed by the article about me. And I would like to apologize to all of you for any inconvenience caused by the fact that I was at a party with a Kirara in the morning."
Ju Haknyeon's apology letter
He continued, "And while it is true that I was there, I did not engage in any sex or any other illegal activity that was mentioned in the article or rumored. I am deeply disappointed in my behavior and would like to sincerely apologize to anyone who may have been surprised."
But here’s what keeps me awake at night. For the unversed, this isn’t Kirara’s first dance with dirty rumors. The last time someone dared spread scandal about her, she went after them. Does the name Shirahama Nozomi ring a bell? And this time around as well, she addressed the rumors with an unapologetic demeanor. “I have never received any amount for sex, not once,” she stated, adding that this time is no different. That level of confidence? It only means one thing: she’s betting that there’s nothing in Bunshun’s vault strong enough to take her down. So now we wait.
Either way, Kirara doesn’t seem the one to back down. After clearing the air regarding the rumors, she will likely consult with her legal team and might file a case for defamation. Cause sometimes, the truth is messier than fiction.
Yuka Murakami Is Back To Square One With S1
Now let’s delve into a headline that will have you smiling ear to ear. Yuka Murakami quietly tweeted a cryptic tweet in “I’ll be away for a while,” in late December that she’d be taking a break, but she reassured that she won’t be retiring anytime soon. And that, of course, only made it more intriguing.
The 2003-born beauty who’s built a loyal fanbase with her fresh charm and magnetic screen presence disappeared from the scene last year, which some would call the peak of her rise. Fans were left holding their breath, wondering if she’d ever make a comeback!
Well, for the readers, good news: Yuka is back. And she’s still exactly where she left off, as an exclusive actress for S1.
Yuka took to X, in a surprise announcement on her comeback, casually but confidently confirming that she’s officially rejoined the S1 fam. Her first day back on set? Familiar faces congratulated her on the comeback, colleagues and fans alike. But let me tell you, that subtle comeback has everyone talking.
“There aren’t many actresses who take a break mid-career like I did,” Yuka shared in her post, “so this might have surprised a lot of fans. But thank you, truly, for always following and supporting me.”
Nevertheless, Yuka still hasn’t revealed what prompted her hiatus, and maybe she won’t reveal it in the future. But something tells me this wasn’t just another break. Sometimes, silence says more than words.
Yuka's recent outing with S1 featured her as a swimmer, targeted by her perverted instructor.
What we do know is this: while she hasn’t confirmed any new JAV releases yet, her event calendar is packed to the brim. Let me get you on a scoop. Right now, Yuka has ten confirmed appearances in the coming months, and trust me, they’re not low-key pop-ups.
She’s slated to walk in two of the year’s most hyped events: TREND GIRLS and the Midsummer Swimsuit Festival, both events invite top-tier talents and will give Yuka the visibility one needs after a comeback, but that’s nothing that she has got lined up next month. Word is she’ll be flying to Taiwan for a ForAver photoshoot from July 19–20, a major overseas gig that will see her also promoting the brand.
And then there’s the real showstopper: TRE, happening August 8–10. Dubbed “the biggest stage of the year for JAV Idols”, TRE is the kind of event that separates icons from influencers. And guess who’s center stage this year? Yuka, alongside none other than Nozomi Ishihara and Umika Minamizawa, is the featured model for JAV merchandisers, AVOneLove. That lineup alone screams headliner energy.
Now all that remains for us fans to be seen is when does Yuka announce her next JAV that’ll have some fans jumping off their couch?
All this indicates a planned hiatus. Whatever that break was for, it’s clear she used it to contemplate not to sit on the sidelines but rather to make a full-blown comeback.
Keep your eyes on her. I know I will.
