Beauty Venus is back

Beauty Venus is back and with a bang! For those that don’t know, Beauty Venus is a special series by Idea Pocket that usually brings a collaboration between the biggest studios in JAV, from S1, to Moodyz, and more. Rather than opt for Beauty Venus 9, IP has gone for a special studio-wide title with Beauty Venus Harem.

*Note: the title is called Beauty Venus Harlem, not because it is shot in America’s historic New York neighborhood, but because no one bothered to double-check.

The Video

Beauty Venus Harem includes some of their biggest names, from Momo Sakura to Mitsuri Nagahama to newer faces like Ria Aise and Wakana Sakura. A 5 and a half hour title with about 10 scenes in total. Scenes that are mainly done in harem style, i.e. one man, many women. Most of the scenes have the girls paired off into smaller groups but we do get bigger scenes like one massive orgy.

The Pros

First of all, there was girl-on-girl play galore. I was surprised at the amount of lesbian play I saw from everyone. We’ve seen it from girls like Momo and Honoka Furukawa, but it was a nice surprise to see Mitsuri and the newer girls so open to the fairer sex. Not the hardest stuff, mainly kissing and fondling, but very welcome to see nonetheless. These types of videos might be good for introducing you to new faces.

The Cons

As for the cons, the video only had one real orgy scene and by the cover and premise you would expect a whole lot more from the studio wide special. While the orgy was a bit awkward as it is hard to fit all those bodies into one shot and the editing made some headscratching cuts. As a whole it did deliver a fine orgy scene if a bit flawed. My other gripe would be the absence of Karen Kaede and Kana Momonogi. Karen is made for a video like this, and Kana is one of IP’s faces of the studio. Shame that they weren’t in it.

The Verdict

As a whole, this is a fine Harem video with good performances and more lesbian play than you’d expect from exclusive stars nowadays. More orgies would’ve been great and the cast is lacking some star power but as specials goes, this was a solid hit into the park. Worth checking out by fans of the studio.
