Why Most Solo Masturbation Scenes in JAV Suck

Much like a lot of bad scenes in porn and JAV, one issue solo masturbation scenes suffer from is the fact that they're often WAY too long. It seems creators are under the assumption that the longer the scene is, the sexier - which is definitely not true in the slightest. These scenes can drag on for upwards of 20 minutes, and the entire time it's just the actress sitting down, touching herself, going at a "slow and passionate" pace. It's even worse when there was a really good scene prior to it as well, because you have your expectations lowered by some massive 20-30 minute slog where nothing interesting happens.

Watchers expect sexual interactions in a pornographic film, but sex requires at least two people - while we don't want to see the guy all that much, watchers understand that it's simply a requirement to have one (most the time, unless we're talking lesbian JAV or whatever). Sexual interactions between two people naturally have way more versatility, from the acts they can do to the added elements of passion, romance, and emotional connection. It's highly entertaining to watch one person do something, then have the other react in some fashion, whether it be by responding with another physical act or just a facial expression. Switch to an angle underneath the actress as she lifts one leg up, or even do something wacky - like maybe have the actress lay on her back and masturbate with her pussy in the air. Let's analyze an actually good solo masturbation scene that I saw in a JAV (and was actually the whole reason why I made this article in the first place), so that we can see some of my suggestions in action.
